Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 166: The Sudden Attack

Looking at the cold expression of the beautiful woman, Ye Feiʼs childishness, which hadnʼt shown up for a long time, suddenly emerged, and he made a face at her.

The beautiful woman simply ignored him.

She just gave him a disdainful look and walked past him. However, as she passed by, a faint delicate fragrance wafted into Ye Feiʼs nose.

”How fragrant!” Ye Fei sniffed hard and praised with a grin.

The beautiful woman paused for a moment and continued walking forward, but she was already a bit angry in her heart.

Since she was born, she had a unique body fragrance. When she was at school, she was adored by many people and even got the nickname ”Fragrant Concubine.”

Fortunately, her family had quite some influence, so she wasnʼt harassed by anyone, but it also annoyed her a lot.

Later, when she joined the special forces, although there were not many women among a large group of men, and these people only cared about strength.

Although they also smelled the fragrance on her, no one took it seriously, so she hadnʼt heard anyone mention her body fragrance for a long time.

Now that Ye Fei mentioned it in such a slightly frivolous tone, she was naturally quite angry.

Coupled with hearing his muttering just now, she was even more convinced that he was a second-generation rich kid who came to the special forces for gilding.

Ye Fei, who was snubbed by the beautiful woman, wasnʼt unhappy at all. He cheerfully went to have lunch with Li Yun and the others.

After lunch, Zhang Qiang and Li Yun took Ye Fei to stroll around the camp, chatting with the people they met from time to time. Ye Fei knew that they werenʼt doing this for no reason.

Although the people from different special forces teams already knew each other before, it was always good to have more understanding, so that they could cooperate better during combat.

In the evening, Ye Fei still stayed with Zhang Qiang and Li Yun.

They took the last opportunity to tell him many things to pay attention to. Finally, Li Yun said, ”Ye Fei, after all, this is your first time participating in such a mission. Youʼd better stay in the middle of the team at that time. In this way, you can react quickly when there are enemies, and since you have good marksmanship, you donʼt need to deal with the enemies on the periphery.”

Ye Fei was very touched by their concern. He nodded and said, ”Donʼt worry, uncles. I know what to do. But with more than a thousand of us acting together, will we alert the enemies and make them hide?”

That Ye Fei could think of this made Zhang Qiang and Li Yun very pleased. Zhang Qiang said with a smile, ”Of course, such a situation wonʼt happen.

At that time, the captain will probably divide us into several groups and act in groups.

This way, the target will be smaller and easier to hide. Weʼll try our best to be in the same group with you, and you just stay by our side.”

Ye Fei nodded in agreement, but he was a bit worried in his heart.

Given his auntʼs personality, she would definitely assign herself to the most dangerous group at that time, and he was likely to receive her special care.

Then he couldnʼt be with her. If there was any danger, it would be really worrying.

But for the time being, he couldnʼt think of a good solution. His aunt became the overall commander at a young age.

Although her strength convinced everyone, there would always be people who didnʼt take her decision-making ability seriously. If he opposed her decision first, she would definitely be unhappy. It seemed that he could only take one step at a time.

Sure enough, when they gathered the next morning, Liu Junyi divided all the people into ten groups in a random order, and she and the other nine captains led the groups respectively to search different areas.

Todayʼs task was to search the outer area of the forest, and the chance of encountering terrorists was not high, which was also a good opportunity for everyone to get familiar with cooperation.

Ye Fei was assigned to the tenth group, and the area they were supposed to search was the one with the sparsest woods among the ten areas and the least likely to hide enemies.

But she herself led the group to search the place where the possibility of encountering enemies was the highest.

After thinking for most of the night, Ye Fei finally came up with a makeshift solution. He gave a specially made firework to Zhang Qiang, who was in the same group as his aunt, and told him repeatedly to light the firework and send it into the sky when encountering a strong enemy.

In this way, he could rush over as quickly as possible. He believed that with his auntʼs skills, unless she met someone like himself, she would have no problem holding out until he came to the rescue.

And even if there were people as strong as he was in the world, there would definitely not be more than five, and they should all be some reclusive masters who usually didnʼt show up at all, and it was absolutely impossible for these terrorists to have such masters.

After breakfast, the nearly thousand-strong team took dozens of military trucks and set out towards the forest.

Since they knew it was impossible to hide their arrival from the terrorists, Liu Junyi had never thought of hiding before entering the forest.

Anyway, the purpose of this trip was to enter the forest, find the terrorists, and then have a decisive battle with them.

At ten oʼclock in the morning, the team had arrived at the edge of the forest. After getting off the trucks and getting organized, at Liu Junyiʼs command, everyone entered the almost boundless forest according to the area assigned to them.

Maybe she was still not quite at ease about Ye Feiʼs safety, so Liu Junyi also arranged Li Yun to be in the same group as him. There was also the beautiful sharpshooter from the capital.

However, the beautiful sharpshooter seemed a bit dissatisfied that Liu Junyi had assigned her to the least dangerous area.

Although Ye Fei had experienced quite a few things, he was still a sixteen-year-old boy after all, and he couldnʼt help but still have some childishness.

Moreover, although he had stayed in the military camp for more than two months, it was his first time being fully armed like this, so he couldnʼt help but find everything very novel. From time to time, he would giggle and look at his equipment, and sometimes he would take down the gun and play with it.

”I really donʼt know what Captain Liu was thinking. How could she conduct the search like this? Isnʼt this putting ourselves out in the open and allowing the terrorists to launch a sneak attack?”

Due to her dissatisfaction with Liu Junyiʼs assignment, the beautiful sharpshooter, who was not far from Ye Fei, couldnʼt help but mutter in a low voice.

When his aunt was calling the roll in the morning, Ye Fei had already known that this beautiful sharpshooter had a very unique name, Wei Qing, the same as a great general in the Han Dynasty.

Seeing that she was not far from him, he wanted to start a conversation with her.

Unexpectedly, he heard her muttering to herself. Although she was a beautiful woman, when Ye Fei heard her criticizing his beloved aunt, he couldnʼt help but retort, ”Well, beautiful lady, do you have a better idea?”

Wei Qing blushed when Ye Fei retorted. She herself knew that Liu Junyiʼs method was the best for now.

If it were someone else, she would surely apologize for her words. But this person happened to be Ye Fei.

She already didnʼt like him yesterday, and now seeing that this little new recruit dared to speak to her, a major, in such a frivolous tone, she was even more angry. But she couldnʼt find any reason to refute, so she just said, ”Canʼt I even complain?”

”Complaining is doubting the superiorʼs order. As a soldier, do you think you are right?” Ye Fei sneered. Seeing Wei Qingʼs cold and arrogant expression, he didnʼt know why, but he just wanted to annoy her.

”You!” Wei Qing was so angry with him, but she didnʼt know how to reply, after all, what Ye Fei said was right.

At this time, a member of the capitalʼs special forces who had chatted with Ye Fei and the others yesterday suddenly came up to Wei Qing and said something. A sarcastic smile immediately appeared on Wei Qingʼs lips.

”I was wondering how a little new recruit could participate in a mission that many special forces members couldnʼt come to. It turns out he is Captain Liuʼs nephew. It seems that your aunt takes good care of you and assigned you to this non-dangerous group.” Wei Qing showed a sneer at the corner of her mouth and looked at Ye Fei sarcastically.

Ye Fei wasnʼt angry either. He said with a smile, ”Yes, my aunt knows I am still a little new recruit and is afraid that I might mess things up, so she gave me an easy job. I just donʼt know why the number one sharpshooter of the grand capitalʼs special forces is also assigned to this team.”

Wei Qing was already a bit unhappy because she was assigned to this group.

After Ye Fei said that, she was even more angry, but she finally held it back. She sneered, ”Well, I am not like someone who needs an elite like Captain Li to act as a bodyguard for a mission.”

Ye Fei didnʼt expect that the beautiful and cold Wei Qing could be so sharp-tongued when arguing.

For a moment, he was at a loss for words because it was true that Li Yun was assigned to this group partly to protect him.

So he rolled his eyes and ignored Wei Qing.Li Yun beside Ye Fei said with a bitter smile, ”I say, Xiao Wei, Ye Fei is still a child and a new member. Donʼt take him too seriously.”
