Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 165: Elites from All Over

Ye Fei had only stayed in the military camp for two days. On the third day early in the morning, Ye Fei, Liu Junyi, and forty-nine special forces members boarded a plane flying to the southwest at the military airport.

Since Liu Junyi was the overall commander of this operation, she was not counted among the fifty people. And because Ye Fei took up one spot, there were only forty-nine special forces members in this operation, including the three squadron leaders under Liu Junyi. In Wang Hai City, only Ye Feiʼs eldest uncle Li Bin was left in charge. If something went wrong this time, the influence of the Liu family in the Wang Hai City military region would surely be greatly reduced, after all, Li Bin was just a squadron leader.

On the way, Ye Fei listened to Li Yun and the others talk about the big competition half a year ago, and he didnʼt feel bored at all. During that competition, Liu Junyi, the captain, won the individual overall championship, and the other team members also performed well. And because of Liu Junyiʼs super strength, the Wang Hai City special forces also won the teamʼs overall championship. Whenever they talked about this, these special forces members were very proud.

After several hours of flight, the plane landed in a military base in the southwest of the Dragon Country. More than fifty kilometers southwest from here was a large forest, and those terrorists were lurking around there. But because this was a blind spot for satellite signals, they had no idea where the terroristsʼ base was. They only knew their number from the information from the General Staff. Maybe the departure order was given simultaneously. When Ye Fei and the others from the south arrived, not many teams had come yet, and most of them hadnʼt arrived. When those who had already arrived saw Ye Fei and the others in the camp, they greeted them very warmly. Especially when they saw Liu Junyi, there was a bit of eagerness in their eyes, obviously because of the outstanding performance of the Wang Hai City special forces half a year ago.

Although Ye Fei knew clearly that the looks from the members of other special forces at Liu Junyi were just like idol worship, he still felt a bit uncomfortable and wanted to take Liu Junyi away quickly. But he also knew that she, as the overall commander, couldnʼt hide until all the team members arrived.

Secretly observing the members of other special forces, Ye Fei found that the captains of the several groups that had already arrived were all soldiers in their forties. Although Liu Junyi won the individual ability championship in the competition, in terms of experience, she might still be inferior to these older people. So it was even more suspicious that she was made the overall commander this time. However, the attitudes of those several captains towards Liu Junyi were fine. There was only admiration for her strength and some advice for the younger generation. This made Ye Fei almost certain of his previous speculation, that this conspiracy was aimed at all special forces.

At this time, the members of the Wang Hai City special forces also dispersed from behind Liu Junyi and ran to chat with familiar members from other places. Ye Fei was also pulled away by Zhang Qiang and Li Yun.

While following Zhang and Li to greet those special forces members, Ye Fei was secretly observing those people. He couldnʼt help but nod secretly. Sure enough, they were indeed elites from all over. The quality of these people was no worse than those from the Wang Hai City military region. Just like the people from the Wang Hai City special forces, they didnʼt take this operation seriously and just regarded it as training.

When Zhang and Li were chatting with people they knew, they didnʼt forget to show off Ye Feiʼs amazing marksmanship. Although they didnʼt have much vanity as soldiers, having such a sharpshooter in their team was also something to be proud of.

Since they were all special elites, they didnʼt doubt Zhang and Liʼs words when putting themselves in othersʼ shoes. But when they saw that Ye Fei was obviously under twenty years old, they couldnʼt help but be amazed and said they must have a good look if they had a chance.

It was almost noon, and the special forces from all over had arrived. Now only the team from the capital hadnʼt arrived yet. A member of the Northeast special forces who was chatting with Ye Fei and Zhang Li was a bit dissatisfied and said, ”I say those guys from the capital are too arrogant, right? Even those from the Northeast and Northwest, the farthest places, have been here for half a day, but they are still late.”

Zhang Qiang said with a smile, ”After all, they are from the capital. Under the feet of the emperor, they should have some airs.”

”Pah!” The Northeast special forces member didnʼt buy the capitalʼs special forcesʼ account. He snorted, ”I just canʼt stand their attitude. They are not that great, but they always think they are the best in the world! If they have the ability, they should also win an overall championship like your Wang Hai City special forces.”

Li Yun said with a smile, ”You canʼt say that. There are also some capable people in the capital. Take that sharpshooter, for example. Who among us can compare with her?”

”Thatʼs right.” The Northeast memberʼs face dropped. ”She shot ninety-nine rings with ten bullets on the moving target, and the shooting speed was so fast. Sheʼs almost inhuman!” Speaking of this, he suddenly remembered that when Zhang and Li introduced Ye Fei, they said he was also a sharpshooter. He quickly asked, ”Brother Ye, since Lao Zhang praised you so much, you must be very good too. Can you beat the woman from the capital?”

Only then did Ye Fei know that the sharpshooter from the capital was a woman. He couldnʼt help but secretly admire her. He had an almost cheating ability, so his achievement was nothing to brag about, and that woman was truly amazing. So he said with a smile, ”Itʼs hard to say, but maybe we are about the same.”

”Whatʼs your best score?” The Northeast member asked again.

Ye Fei naturally couldnʼt tell him that he had only shot a moving target once in his life, so he told him his score from that time, ”One hundred and seventeen rings with twelve shots.”

The Northeast member stuck out his tongue and said, ”You are also inhuman!”

Zhang and Li, however, secretly laughed. They could tell that the reason Ye Fei had three rings less last time was that he was unfamiliar with shooting the moving target for the first time. Otherwise, it would be one hundred and twenty rings. And they had also seen the shooting speed of the capitalʼs sharpshooter. Although it was fast, it didnʼt reach Ye Feiʼs level. If they had to compete, she definitely wouldnʼt be Ye Feiʼs opponent.

While they were talking about the capitalʼs special forces, they saw a plane slowly landing outside the compound. After a while, a group of people walked over.

Ye Fei fixed his eyes and suddenly his eyes lit up. Among all the male team members, there was a woman.

Presumably, she was the sharpshooter they were talking about. The woman was about 1.7 meters tall. Her long black hair was casually tied into a ponytail hanging behind her head. Her face was as beautiful as Liu Junyiʼs.

She had curved willow-leaf eyebrows, bright big eyes, a straight nose, and a small mouth, along with an oval face. If she walked outside, she could attract the attention of all men.

The only flaw was that there was a faint aloofness on her face, but it also gave her a special charm. Under the military uniform, although her figure was not as hot as Liu Junyiʼs, it was also curvaceous. In particular, her waist was so slender that it seemed one could hold it with both hands.

It was unexpected that there were only two women in the entire operation team, and both of them were such one-in-ten-thousand beauties.

Most importantly, they were both so outstanding. One was a sharpshooter, and the other was even more powerful. She was not only the overall commander of this operation but also the overall champion of individual abilities in the whole army. Ye Fei couldnʼt help but feel a bit amazed.

But what he didnʼt understand was that since this woman was a beauty no less than his aunt, why did Zhang Qiang and the others only mention that she was a sharpshooter when they talked about her?

At most, they said she was a woman. But soon Ye Fei understood. In the minds of these special forces members, strength was the most important thing, and appearance didnʼt matter that much.

When Ye Fei saw those people, the people around naturally saw them too.

At this time, someone said curiously, ”Why is Captain Gao leading the team from the capital? Where is their captain?”

Another person said with a smile, ”Maybe heʼs too embarrassed to come. They always consider themselves from the capital and think they are our bosses. Now that the overall commander is Captain Liu, how could he have the face to come?”

The previous person said again, ”Yes, why wasnʼt the guy from the capital made the overall commander this time? Didnʼt they all say he has a strong backer?”

”So what if he has a strong backer?” Someone else scoffed.

”No matter how strong his backer is, heʼs just a colonel. Should Captain Liu, a major general, listen to him?”

”Thatʼs right.”

The previous person seemed convinced by this reason and stopped talking. But Ye Fei had an idea.

They said the captain of the capitalʼs special forces had a strong backer, and he didnʼt come this time.

Could it mean that his backer was the one who planned this conspiracy?

Thinking of this, Ye Fei became even more vigilant. If the person who planned the conspiracy didnʼt let his people come here, didnʼt it mean he had already decided to get rid of all the people here?

Seeing that everyone had arrived, Liu Junyi walked onto a platform in the middle of the yard, clapped her hands to signal everyone to be quiet, and then said, ”Elites of the special forces! I believe you all know about this operation, so I wonʼt say more. Weʼll rest here for one night today and set out tomorrow! Dismissed now!”

She didnʼt use any amplification equipment, and her voice wasnʼt very loud, but nearly a thousand people scattered in all corners of the yard could hear her.

They couldnʼt help but greatly admire her. They all stood at attention and replied loudly, ”Yes!” The deafening voice gave Ye Fei, who had never had any training, a big fright.

”Damn, are these guys a special forces team or a loudmouth team? With that shout, you almost scared me to death with a heart attack.” Ye Fei dug his ears in dissatisfaction and muttered in a low voice. Then he felt a gaze on him.

Turning his head, Ye Fei saw that it was the beautiful sharpshooter from the capitalʼs special forces looking at him, and in her eyes, he saw a hint of disdain.
