New Age Of Summoners

In front of the huge stage, nearly one hundred thousand youngsters were standing with serious looks on their faces as they looked at the cultivators on the stage.

Even though there were a dozen exquisite chairs, only half of them were filled and the remaining chairs were empty.

Among those who were seated on the exquisite chairs, one old man stood up and walked to the front before saying, ”I am the minister of the Flerton kingdom and I will be hosting the contest for today.”

He was wearing the formed robes that looked graceful and the aura emitted by the old man was powerful for the youngsters standing below the stage.

However, they didn’t change their expression as they listened to the old man with their full attention.

”You might be wondering why half of the chairs on this stage are empty, right?”

The old man was satisfied with the stature maintained by the youngsters in front of him as he continued, ”The three chairs on the left side are for the protectors of the three provinces, the six chairs on the right side of the stage are, for the kings from six kingdoms from three provinces.”

”So, do you think they will have the time to watch the entire contest when there are so many participants?”

The old man didn’t answer them directly but made them get an answer to the question that he raised earlier.

”As for the majestic chair at the center was for someone very powerful and it was other than the emperor of the Purple stone world. If we are lucky, we might see him but the chances of him appearing are not high. So, don’t keep your hopes high.”

The old man’s words not only shocked the youngsters but even those who accompanied them and watched them from the spectators’ seats.

’What?’

’Emperor of the purple stone world?’

’I hope he really comes and I can brag about it for the rest of my life.’

For cultivators from the Zrochester province and Ylercester province, becoming an Emperor realm cultivator was a dream that they could not achieve even if they were given 10000 years of life span.

And in the entire Purple stone world, there was only a single Emperor realm cultivator, at least that’s what everyone believed.

So, becoming an Emperor realm cultivator was not the only achievement for them, even seeing an Emperor realm cultivator was also an achievement. So, everyone hoped that the emperor of the purple stone world would make his appearance for this contest.

”Anyway, let’s talk about the contest.”

Soon, the old man who introduced himself as a minister of the Flerton kingdom continued speaking, ”There will be a total of five rounds for this contest.”

”Five rounds?”

Everyone raised their eyebrows because no one knew how the contest would be because its pattern changes every time, making it impossible to figure out how many rounds and what kind of competition they would set for each round.

”However, there is a special benefit for some of you.”

With a slight smile on his face, the old man continued, ”The participants who can summon the elemental spirits will be directly promoted to the third round whereas the remaining participants have to pass the rounds one by one.”

’What?’

’Excellent’

’I can avoid fighting this trash.’

’This is unfair. What if they can summon the elemental spirits? I can easily defeat them with my fists and skills.’

’Heavens are testing me. I have to go through each and every round. I can do this.’

Hearing the old man’s words, the youngsters below the stage were having various thoughts in their heads depending on the mentality.

Participants who can summon elemental spirits were happy as they could skip two rounds and didn’t have to fight non-summoners as they were just trash in their eyes.

Some non-summoners were unhappy and felt it was not fair, whereas a few of them thought they had to prove themselves by passing the two rounds.

Even though the non-summoners were disappointed, they didn’t argue with the old man because as the participants of the contest, they have to follow the rules and they knew very well the consequences of talking back to the Flerton royal family.

”The protectors might join us by the third round which will start tomorrow. Today, we will be completing the first two rounds.”

”Summoners, you can either go and rest in your resting quarters or you can find a seat in the spectator’s zone to watch the first two rounds.”

The old man asked the summoners to move away from the spacious grounds while explaining what they could do in the meantime..

”Yes, sir minister.”

Without wasting any time, the participants who can summon the elemental spirits directly left from the spacious ground, leaving behind the non-summoners.

”Princess Daphne, why are you looking worried? Are you not feeling well?”

While leaving the spacious ground, Ajax saw that Princess Daphne seemed like he was worried about something and asked her about it.

”N..no…it’s nothing.”

Princess Daphne looked at the huge stage in the distance for a moment before shaking her head, saying there was nothing.

”Is it about your father?”

Even though he didn’t know everything about Princess Daphne, he was sure that Princess Daphne didn’t like her father and her father was forcing her to do something that she didn’t want to do.

Moreover, Ajax also noticed a familiar face on the huge stage and it was other than the king of the Zrochester province.

That’s right!

Since Stephen Draton is the sole king of the Zrochester province and Draton kingdom is one of the six kingdoms in the entire Purple stone world, he has a spot for himself on the huge.

However, other than him, the remaining five chairs beside him were empty.

From this alone, anyone could relate that King Stephen is the weakest king among the six kings in the world and he could not be late for the contest, unlike other kings.
