New Age Of Summoners

’It’s time to use the final trump card for the challenge.’

Ajax had been holding back his final trump card for a moment like this.

Actually, Ajax wanted to try his best in defeating Brutus with just the first effect of the elemental spirit merger bloodline and him merging with the Cerauno backed with the abyssal beast god bloodline.

However, looking at how strong Brutus was, Ajax didn’t want to waste his time.

In his current situation, time is everything. If he wasted more time, the first effect of the elemental spirit merger bloodline will disappear, the elemental laws of his merged elemental spirits will also disappear.

So, Ajax decided to finish the challenge even if it means killing Brutus.

’Necros, come out.’

. First, he summoned the dark elemental spirit out of the inner world.

’Elemental spirit merger bloodline’s second effect, activate.’

In the next second, without wasting any more time, he directly activated the powerful effect that will increase the battle prowess of the merged elemental spirit by 10 times for a time period of 5 minutes.

’Swoosh’

’Boom’

With a huge explosion, Necros merged with the already merged Volcanis and Ignis.

’Ding,

The second effect of the elemental spirit merger’s second effect is triggered.

’Ding,

The merged entity will have all the skills and the battle prowess increased to 10 times the strongest elemental spirit among three for a time period of two minutes.

Soon, Ajax got the system notifications in his head that made him reveal a slight smile.

’What?’

’The three elemental spirits can merge?’

’Hey did you notice, he had a lightning elemental spirit, fire elemental spirits and a dark elemental spirit? So, that means, he is a triple elemental summoner, right?’

’Yeah. It is even rare in the  greater worlds to see a triple elemental summoner; however, we are seeing him in the five elemental world.’

’Looks like Max and Nova did the right thing by accepting defeat and becoming that human’s follower.’

’With your strength, that human will not look at you for a second much less accepting you as his follower. Dream on.’

’You are the one to mock me with your low cultivation level.’

Today, the mountain lions were having many shocks and surprises with Ajax’s every move.

”Scoff”

As for Brutus, he scoffed at Ajax and stretched his body a little.

’Aqua dragon bloodline, activate.’

However, Ajax didn’t stop enhancing his strength as he activated his recently gained and upgraded level 2 bloodline.

’Ding,

The host activated the level 2 aqua dragon bloodline. All his battle prowess will be increased by 10 times for the next two minutes.

”I guess, two minutes is more than enough to defeat this muscular mountain lion.”

Looking at the humanoid mountain lion, Ajax revealed an excited smile because currently, he was feeling that I could conquer anything in this form.

”Necros, summon your undead army, merge them before dispersing them.”

As soon as he finished his words, Necros, who was currently merged with Volcanis and Ignis followed Ajax’s words.

’Swoosh’

’Merge’

’Disperse’

Once the huge undead warrior disappeared, the merged entity of three elemental spirits started shining with a black glow.

”Let’s finish this.”

Ajax knew what the black glow was and it was the temporary invincible buff of Necros which was applicable for the entire merged entity.

Since no physical attacks or energy attacks could deal damage to the merged entity for the next five minutes, Ajax used it as his shield as he used the powerful skills.

Not only him, even Volcanis and Ignis in the merged entity started activating their powerful skills to attack Brutus.

”Aargh”

Before a single minute could even complete, Brutus could not take the combined attack of Merged Ajax and Merged elemental spirits as he finally fell to the ground.

”So, do you admit defeat?”

Ajax knew it was just a waste of time asking Brutus about it; however, he still asked as he didn’t want any regrets for not giving a chance to Brutus.

”I am not going to admit it. You have to kill me to be declared the winner.”

Brutus’s body was completely covered in injuries; however, he still had a smile on his face as he replied to Ajax.

’I know.’

Ajax shook his head before saying, ”Since you want to die that badly, I will send you on your way.”

With that thought in his mind, Ajax summoned a huge lightning spear.

’Ding,

A connected mission to ’Gain the followers’ mission is generated in the system. Please check.

Just when Ajax was about to kill Brutus, he received a system notification that made him raise his brows.

’Check’

Since the mission was generated just when he was about to kill Brutus, Ajax felt it must be related to him. So, he didn’t kill; instead, he opened the quest tab to check the newly generated mission.

’Ding,

Mini Mission:- Convince the stubborn humanoid mountain lion to become your follower.

Mission reward:- The system will double the reward for making Brutus become your follower or if the host is lucky, he will gain a normal world’s world core.

More information:- As a powerful summoner, you need to convince anyone to become your follower. Be it an elemental spirit, spirit beast or a re-cultivated spirit beast or a human.

’Huh? I have to make him my follower? Double the reward?’

Initially, Ajax frowned; however, when he saw the system reward, he felt he could give it a try and if he still didn’t make Brutus submit to him, he could always kill him as Brutus was severely injured.

’But, what should I do?’

Ajax started thinking about what he had to do to make a stubborn mountain lion-like Brutus accept him as his master.

If the mountain lions are stubborn, it is hard to change them until death. That’s the reason why Ajax didn’t bother to waste his breath on convincing Brutus earlier.

However, things have changed and he had a generous reward if he completed this mission.

’Adding the two smaller world’s world cores that I already gained from making Max and Nova as my followers, with the two more world cores I can enter the elite general realm without a problem.’

’Once I enter the elite general realm, I can start cultivating a cultivator’s law. Overall, I will be becoming very powerful.’

Even though the mission was a little hard, Ajax decided to give it a try and as long as he completes the mission, everything will be good for him.

’Damn it…even Brutus can’t win against..argh.’

King Glaucus was so angry that he just wanted to kill Ajax right now without any care; however, he controlled it and said, ”Don’t bother wasting your time on convincing Brutus to admit defeat...he will prefer to die rather than admitting defeat.”

”Is that true?”

Ajax looked at King Glaucus in the sky and scoffed at him before asking Brutus who was lying on the ground.

”Yes. Just kill me.”

Brutus scoffed at Ajax without any fear in his eyes.

’Damn it...he is really not fearing death.’

Ajax cursed at Brutus’ stubbornness; however, he continued thinking for a few moments before getting an idea.
