New Age Of Summoners

With the death of King Glaucus, there is no king for the Mountain lion woods and Ajax was waiting for something from the King realm cultivators. So, he didn’t say anything and just waited while listening to the system notifications in his head.

’Ding,

The host’s contracted spirit beast killed a mid-level King realm cultivator.

’Ding,

The host gained 1000 spirit points.

’Only spirit points?’

Ajax was disappointed with the reward for killing a mid-level king realm; however, he shook his head as killing King Glaucus was not in his initial plan.

’Since the complete body is devoured by Alder, I hope his cultivation increases.’

If he had the body of King Glaucus, he would have refined it using the Arcance spirit turtle; however, the devourer eagle king swallowed the complete body as though the divine dragon beside him would ask for a share.

”Brother Brutus, why don’t you become the King of Mountain lion woods?”

All of a sudden, one of the King realm mountain lions asked Brutus to be their King.

”Me?”

Brutus raised his brows as he shook his head before saying,  ”Right now, I am not eligible to be your king as I already accepted someone as my master. I have to follow him and try my best to raise the face of our mountain lion race.”

It was the basic rule of the mountain lion race that the king of the mountain should be his own master.

If there was something, he could choose to ally with other forces; however, accepting others is not acceptable.

”Even though you become someone’s follower, other than you, there is no one who is more qualified than you to be our King.”

”That’s right, brother Brutus. Please become our King and guide the mountain lions to glory.”

”I agree with that decision.”

”Me too.”

Soon, one after another mountain lions showed their support to Brutus in becoming the King of the mountain lion woods.

”Th...this is...”

Brutus didn’t know what he had to do as he looked at Ajax before asking for a suggestion.

For the first time in his life, Brutus felt like taking the suggestions from Ajax and that’s the reason why he became Ajax’s follower.

”Regarding this, I will not say anything. It is your race and you have to be responsible for whatever decision you make.”

However, Ajax didn’t give any suggestions at the start; however, he thought of something before saying, ”However, it will be a good thing for you to become the King because everyone will listen to you unless you go down the same path as your previous king.”

After saying that, Ajax revealed a slight smile on his face.

’I think all these king realm mountain lions are adamant on making Brutus their King. I guess I will not ask anyone to become my follower.’

In the next second, Ajax thought about his mission ’Gain the followers’ and looking at how serious the mountain lions were, he didn’t want to change their beliefs by asking them to become his followers.

If he did that, he would lose the loyalty of Brutus who can single-handedly control all the mountain lions once he becomes their King.

So, Ajax concluded the mission and waited for the four smaller world’s word cores.

’Ding,

          The host terminated the mission.

’Ding,

          Mission status:- Completed.

Mission reward:- Smaller world’s world cores x 4.

’Ding,

Detected the smaller world’s world cores in the host’s inventory. Do you want to use them?

Just as he concluded the mission, his head was filled with a series of system notifications.

’Finally, I can enter the level 1 elite general realm cultivator.’

Even though he already knew about the reward, once he received them into his inventory, Ajax could not help but think of using them immediately.

’No. I have to be careful.’

However, he controlled his urge to use them because he didn’t want Master Ren to sense the world cores on him. So, he didn’t dare to use them.

’Once I go back to my grey dwarf world, I will use them before starting my conquering plan.’

So, he decided to use them after going back to the grey dwarf world which he would be going to as soon as he wrapped the things in the mountain lion woods.

In the grey dwarf world, he was the emperor and no one would know about his secret of using the world cores to increase his cultivation.

’This mission saved a lot of time and effort.’

Ajax was glad that he got this mission and waited for Brutus to make the decision whether he wanted to become the King of the Mountain lion woods or not?

”Fine...I will be the King of mountain lion woods from now on and I hope let’s change the way others look at the current mountain lions to the mountain lions of the past.”

Finally, Brutus agreed to the request of the mountain lion to become the King of the mountain lions.

”Excellent.”

”Thank you for not abandoning us, your majesty.”

”We will do as you say and raise the mountain lion race to glory.”

Soon, all the mountain lions including the King realm experts and normal spirit beasts, everyone kneeled on the ground as they replied to Brutus respectfully.

”However, I need to say something before that.”

Brutus nodded his head at the mountain lions as he continued saying, ”If I find out that many of you intentionally do the things or act out of our True Mountain lion’s rules, the punishment will be very severe.”

Since Brutus was only becoming the King of the mountain lion woods in order to change the corrupted mountain lions into true mountain lions. So, the punishment should also be severe to turn everyone into a true mountain lion.

”Yes, your majesty.”

Everyone nodded their heads as they already knew how brutal Brutus could be; however, after listening to Ajax and Brutus’s conversation earlier, they felt they needed strict rules.

”So, Brutus, I will give you the first task for you to start the path of the true mountain lion.”

Once everyone unanimously made Brutus their King, Ajax told Brutus in front of everyone.

Ajax wanted everyone to listen to his words. So, he continued, ”After you recover your injuries, select a few young re-cultivated or intelligent mountain lions and send them to the two regions, Shixato wilds and Western fox lands. Let them challenge the young geniuses from those regions. If they lose, I don’t think I have to say what they should do, right?”

Since Ajax promised Brutus to bring back the mountain lion’s race’s past glory, he gave the first task.

”Will the higher up of the two regions agree to that?”

Brutus asked with some concern on his lion’s face.

Previously, King Glaucus insulted all the higher up of the two regions. So, Brutus felt things might not go as they wanted.

”Don’t worry about it. I will order them before leaving this world.”

Ajax revealed a slight smile on his face as though it was a small task for him, making Brutus and others reveal a surprised look on their faces.
