New Age Of Summoners

Currently, Nova looked like he was completely unharmed, making all the onlooking humanoid lions reveal a slight smile on their face.

”Human, do you think it is enough to kill me?”

Nova stopped his laughing as he scoffed at Ajax.

”Of course not. That is the reason why I had a backup plan ready.”

Ajax was not surprised at the unscathed Nova because when he saw the bestial soul of the humanoid lion, Ajax guessed they would excel in the defence.

So, he was very sure that his two elemental spirits’ skills are not enough to defeat Nova. With a slight smile on his face, Ajax summoned, ”Cerauno, it is your time to shine.”

’Swoosh’

”I will definitely shine brightly, summoning the master..”

The lighting elemental spirit Cerauno appeared in front of Ajax and respectively nodded his head.

’What? He is a dual elemental summoner?’

King Glaucus and all the onlooking humanoid lions were shocked with the appearance of the lightning elemental spirits and looked at Ajax in a new light.

’No wonder, this human wanted to push his limits by challenging the King realm experts in our region.’

Everyone misunderstood Ajax’s challenge and nodded their heads as though they solved a mystery.

”Level 3 Thunder law.”

”Skill enhancement.”

As for Cerauno, he activated his elemental law and at the same time, he used his skill enhancement before using the skill related to the elemental law.

”Destructive lightning spear, show your true power.”

A huge spear that was completely covered in the lightning sparks appeared in front of Cerauno.

Currently, there were three powerful boosts for that huge lightning spear.

The first one was obviously the boost from Ajax’s bloodline that increases all the battle prowess of Ajax’s elemental spirits.

The second was the boost from the elemental law.

Third, it received a boost from skill enhancement.

With all these three boosts, the huge lightning spear became very powerful.

”Release it, now.”

With a slight smile on his face, Ajax casually released hundreds of small sword waves at Nova before asking his lightning elemental spirit to release the huge lightning spear at Nova.

’Swoosh’

’Clang’

’Slash’

”Do you think these sword waves and that huge lightning spear will do anything to me?”

However, Nova didn’t show any fear on his face as he continued speaking, ”The two powerful skills from your two elemental spirit didn’t do anything to him, do you think this lightning spear will do anything?”

”Why don’t we see it?”

Ajax knew that Nova was just bragging about his defence because he was very sure that the earlier attacks were useless.

Until he received Volcanis and Ignis’s attack, Nova was wearing a golden-coloured armour which was also his bestial soul.

However, after the explosion, there was no golden armour. So, Ajax was sure that Nova’s bestial soul was injured and he had to summon it back into his spirit consciousness.

”Thud”

”I admit defeat.”

Just after destroying Ajax’s sword waves, Nova became tired and if the huge lightning spear had the same power as that of the earlier attacks, then it would be severely injured unless he survives the attack.

So, after gritting his teeth, Nova fell to the ground and directly admitted defeat.

”I knew it.”

”Master Ajax is very powerful.”

”There is nothing wrong in admitting defeat against such a genius young man.”

Unlike when Max admitted defeat where the onlooking humanoid lions mocked and scolded Max, no one said a single bad thing about Nova because in their eyes Ajax was a powerful summoner.

Moreover, they think getting defeated in his hands was an opportunity to become his follower.

’What the hell? When did my followers become so weak?’

King Glaucus who was observing everything from the sky became furious when he saw that his second follower also admitted the fight before the fight could even end.

’Looks like I took this human bastard very lightly.’

Soon, his eyes landed on Ajax as his heart was burning with anger and thought of something.

’I will just send Brutus. He will not even listen to my words. Let’s see how this bastard defeats Brutus.’

With King Glaucus thinking about Brutus, for some reason, he was able to calm himself because, Brutus, as his name suggested, he was extremely brutal; however, at the same time, he was extremely loyal.

”So, you know the rules, right?”

On the ground, Ajax heaved a sigh of relief that he was able to defeat Nova without using his actual trump card.

’So, I will get one more follower for sure.’

It was common sense that King Glaucus would be sending his strongest follower and as long as Ajax defeated him, no one would challenge him because they would already guess that Ajax must have come here to have fun.

However, what Ajax didn’t know was, all the onlookers were thinking that he came to push his limits.

Nevertheless, he waited for Nova to acknowledge him as Master.

”Master.”

Nova didn’t feel embarrassed to call Ajax his master because Ajax was stronger than him. Moreover, he also admitted defeat. So, according to rules, he should become a loyal follower of Ajax.

’Ding,

Congratulations to the host for gaining another King realm follower.

A lottery chance is added to the host’s account.

’Ding,

Do you want finish the mission ’Gain some followers’?

Soon, the system informed that there was nothing wrong with Nova becoming his follower. So, he was very happy and silently said ’No’ to continue the mission.

”Good. Go and stand beside Max.”

Ajax nodded his head and asked Nova to stand beside Max before looking at King Glaucus in the air.

”Now, do you agree that I am powerful enough to defeat your followers?”

Ajax mocked King Glaucus because the other party was not giving him respect.

So, even though he didn’t plan on stopping the challenge, he mocked King Glaucus because he was sure that he would send another one of his followers.

”Nova is just a pathetic mountain lion who admits defeat easily.”

As Ajax expected, for a mountain lion, which was proud and arrogant, King Glaucus was shameless.

”Huh?”

Ajax continued his act as he frowned at King Glaucus’ words before asking, ”So, what are you trying to say?”

”What am I trying to say? I will send another one of my followers. As long as you defeat him, you will not only get a loyal and powerful follower but I will even give you my sword which is a legend grade weapon.”

King Glaucus thought that Ajax would skip the challenge and he could not force Ajax to challenge Brutus when all the onlooking mountain lions were having a positive opinion on Ajax.

So, he could only use his sword as bait for Ajax to continue his challenge.

”Really?”

Ajax revealed a shocked look which was once again an act to make King Glaucus believe that he was only challenging for the sake of the sword.

However, in truth, as long as he develops his grey dwarf world, he would not have to worry about weapons as he would be in the position to give away the refined weapons to others.

”Brutus, go and fight.”
