New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1637 [Bonus ] Sentient Flame: Stormfire

The reason why Ajax was once again focused on body cultivation was because of his Divine Thunder Rule.

According to the system, his physical body was still too weak to endure the Divine Thunder Rule and if he could make his body stronger, he could increase the duration for which he could last after activating his Divine Thunder Law.

Of course, if the Giant Darkfire Crystals could gain him access to the Core Section, he was not planning to use them right away as it would raise doubts in the higher-ups of the Stormfire Wyvern World.

ʼNo. You canʼt enter it even if you have them. It is only reserved for the royal descendants and it will be opened only once a year…haha.ʼ

However, to Ajaxʼs surprise, the Stormfire informed him that even the Giant Darkfire Crystals wonʼt give him access to the Core Section of the Flame Chamber.

ʼShould I give it a try? Or just make my move when I enter the Flame Chamber for the second time.ʼ

When Ajax first learned that he could communicate with the Stormfire, he thought of bargaining with the Sentient Flame to gain as many benefits as possible.

However, he decided to wait and observe for a while before deciding what to do.

And now, if Ajax didnʼt do anything, at most he would break through to level 5 King Realm in his body cultivation.

ʼLetʼs give it a try.ʼ

After thinking for a moment, Ajax decided to execute the plan he had made before entering the Flame Chamber.

”What if I give you….a Giant Fire Crystal?”

ʼSwooshʼ

With a thought, a fist-sized red-coloured crystal appeared in Ajaxʼs hands as he waited for the Stormfireʼs reply.

After learning that the Giant Darkfire Crystals wonʼt gain him access to the Core Section of the Flame Chamber, Ajax silently merged 10 Giant Darkfire Crystals and diffused them into 7 Giant Dark Crystals and 3 Giant Fire Crystals.

From those three Giant Fire Crystals, Ajax decided to use one of them to bargain with the Stormfire for some special treatment.

As for whether it would work or not, Ajax could only wait for Stormfireʼs reply.

ʼT-this is….how did you get such a Giant Fire Crystal?ʼ

Soon, Ajax heard a shocked voice, making him quite hopeful regarding his special benefits.

”I heard from my master that these Giant Fire Crystals are delicious foods for the Sentient Flames. I wonder whether you will give me access to the Core Section?”

Ajax asked with a slight smile hiding his anxiousness of being rejected by the Stormfire.

ʼYes. I can give you access to the Core Section; however, I need 100 Giant Fire Crystals.ʼ

Even though the Stormfireʼs old voice seemed calm, Ajax could tell that the Giant Fire Crystals were indeed delicious foods for the Sentient Flames.

ʼIt looks like I am fated not to enter the Core Section of the Flame Chamber.ʼ

In the next second, Ajax bitterly shook his head as he kept the Giant Fire Crystal back in his storage ring and stopped saying anything further.

Even though Ajax could bring out 100 Giant Fire Crystals, he wonʼt be able to create a story from where he got so many Giant Fire Crystals.

If it was one or two Giant Fire Crystals, Ajax could use his masterʼs name.

Because his master was also one of the peak Emperor Realm Cultivators who lived for nearly 1000 years or even more, no one would doubt the authenticity of his story and would easily believe him.

But, for 100 Giant Fire Crstyals, it would definitely raise doubts about him and his master and once this news spreads, both Master and Disciple duo would be hunted by everyone.  I think you should take a look at

ʼWhat?ʼ

The Stormfire thought Ajax would bargain a little; however, soon, it realized that it really asked for too much from Ajax.

ʼFine…as long as you give me 10 Giant Fire Crystals, I can let you enter the Core Section. Also, if you want, I can even hide the deal between us…haha.ʼ

The Stormfire thought about it a little and offered him another deal.

”Sorry, but I only have one Giant Fire Crystal.”

Ajax remained calm and didnʼt show any interest in the deal because he could sense that the Stormfire seemed to have that Giant Fire Crystal at any cost.

Hence, Ajax wanted to use that to his advantage.

ʼFine…letʼs go.ʼ

Seeing that Ajax was showing any interest in the deal, the Stormfire believed that he only had a single Giant Fire Crystal.

Therefore, it decided to let him give access to the Core Section and take that Giant Fire Crystal because itʼs been ages since it eats a Giant Fire Crystal.

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as the Stormfire said that, the stone slab that Ajax was sitting on disappeared and a hole appeared on the floor.

In the second, Ajax fell into a hole and by the time he opened his eyes, Ajax felt a scorching pain along with a pulsating pain.

ʼAarghʼ

Even though the pain made Ajax think that he would die, he gritted his teeth and endured it for a few minutes as he finally received a pleasant system notification.

ʼDing,

Congratulations to the host for successfully breaking through to the level 5 King Realm in his Body Cultivation.

With the breakthrough, the pain decreased a little; however, it was still quite unbearable for Ajax.

ʼIf you want to break through quickly, you can take a step forward.ʼ

While enduring the pain, Ajax thought to check his surroundings; however, he heard Stormfireʼs voice that suggested something to him.

”Okay”

However, Ajax didnʼt take the step forward because he wanted to adjust the current intensity of the Stormfire for a few minutes before stepping forward.

Soon, Ajax started checking his surroundings and saw a blue-coloured flame floating a few meters away from him and it was surrounded by powerful storms.

Nevertheless, the Stormfire was very stable as it floated in mid-air.

ʼSo that is a Stormfire. Itʼs quite beautiful.ʼ

The Stormfire is both beautiful and terrifying, possessing a duality that reflects the chaotic and unpredictable nature of storms.

ʼHuh? These are….Darkfire Crystals?ʼ

Suddenly,  Ajaxʼs eyes fell on the huge piles of Darkfire Crystals lying on the floor below where the Stormfire was floating.
