New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1621 Treasured Resources

”Huh?”

”He is not dead?”

Seeing that Ajax stand up even after receiving their combo skills, the Giant Darkfire Wraith frowned.

”Cough…I thought you were strong after merging; however, it looks like you are still not strong enough.”

Ajax revealed an evil smile on his face as he said, ”Itʼs time to kill you.”

[Celestial Void Step]

ʼSwooshʼ

With a single step, Ajax appeared in front of the Giant Darkfire Wraith.

”It is you who is going…”

Seeing that Ajax dared to appear right in front of it, the Giant Darkfire Wraith could not help but scoff at Ajax and was about to use one of its strongest skills.

[Divine Thunder Rule]

However, before they could either finish their words or use their skill, Ajax activated his Divine Rule.

ʼRumbleʼ

In the next second, many lightning sparks came out of Ajax and circled around him.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼThudʼ

Just the sudden activation of the Divine Thunder Rule, made the Giant Darkfire Wraith unconsciously move a few steps back.

”T-this…is…a Divine Rule…moreover, it is a Divine Thunder Rule.”

The Giant Darkfire Wraith, that was confident in killing Ajax a moment ago was shocked as its ghastly face was filled with fear.

”We have to escape…we should escape. We canʼt kill him.”

There was no hesitation as the Giaint Darkfire Wraith decided to escape from Ajax if they wanted to survive.

The thing is, if it was a normal Divine Rule, the Giant Darkfire Wraith might have fought to the death with Ajax; however, it was a Divine Thunder Rule which was quite deadly to it.

Even if Ajax used the basic lightning attacks after activating the Divine Thunder Rule, it would severely injure it.

Therefore, the first thought that came to mind was not how Ajax could awaken a Divine Thunder Rule with a low-level Emperor Realm Cultivation; instead, it was to escape from Ajax as soon as possible.

”Didnʼt you say you wanted to kill me? Where do you think you are running off to without completing the task?”

[Celestial Void Step]

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

How could Ajax let the Giant Darkfire Wraith escape that easily?

By using his movement technique a couple of times in a row, Ajax directly appeared in front of the Giant Darkfire Wraith and asked with a slight smile on his face.

”Damn, you…move away.”

The Giant Darkfire Wraith wanted to punch Ajax away from its way; however, before it could even lift its hand, it saw a powerful lightning come out of Ajaxʼs body and pierced through its body.

ʼAarghʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼThudʼI think you should take a look at

The Giant Darkfire Wraith groaned in pain and soon, its body started turning into dust as a high-level Darkfire Crystal fell to the ground.

ʼDing,

The host has used [Lightning Manipulation] to kill a peak Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith.

ʼDivine Thunder Rule, deactivate.ʼ

On the other hand, as soon as he received the system notification Ajax hurriedly deactivated his Divine Thunder Rule.

Even though he could still maintain that Divine Thunder Rule for another 30 seconds, Ajax wanted to lessen the duration of the cooldown.

If he used the Divine Thunder Rule for the full one minute, then he would have to have one full week to use it again and since he only used it now for less than 30 seconds, he could use it again after 4 days.

ʼEven though I can still use it by ignoring the cooldown time set by the System, it would harm my body. So, unless it is absolutely necessary, I wonʼt use it more than one minute or before the cooldown time is completed.ʼ

Ajax silently muttered to himself as he looked at the fist-sized Darkfire Crystal on the ground with a smile.

ʼThese Darkfire Wraith Leaders have such a good skill of merging the low-level Darkfire Wraiths to high-level Darkfire Wraiths.ʼ

Ajax looked at the 6000 low-level Darkfire Crystal in his inventory and wanted to merge them if possible because the high-level Darkfire Crystals were more valuable compared to the low-level or mid-level Darkfire Crystals.

ʼDing,

  Item Name: Darkfire Crystal (Mid-level).

  Item Type: Special / Mysterious.

Use: It is one of the special foods for the Sentient Flames, Fire/Dark type Elemental Spirits and Spirit Beasts and helps them promote their growth and strength.

Additional use: It can increase the progress of the Dark-type cultivatorʼs laws and souls.

ʼDing,

  Item Name: Darkfire Crystal (High-level).

  Item Type: Special / Mysterious.

Use: It is one of the special foods for the Sentient Flames, Fire/Dark type Elemental Spirits and Spirit Beasts and helps them promote their growth and strength.

Additional use: It can increase the progress of Dark-type Divine Rules by a very very small margin.

Unlike the low-level Darkfire Crystals, the mid-level and the high-level Darkfire Crystals have additional uses.

Especially, the high-level Darkfire Crystals made Ajax excited because these could be considered rare treasures for the cultivators who awakened Dark-type Divine Rules.

ʼEven though I donʼt have any Dark-type Divine Rule, I will get one soon.ʼ

Ajax revealed a slight smile on his face as he thought of his Cultivatorʼs soul that he didnʼt sacrifice when he was unlocking the Blessed Refining Cultivation Technique.

It was none other than the [Orb of the Death] which was a Demonic/Dark/Death triple elemental type Cultivatorʼs soul.

ʼEven though my [Orb of the Death] is still a level 1 King Realmʼs Cultivatorʼs Soul, with mid-level Darkfire Crystals, I can upgrade it into Emperor Realmʼs Cultivatorʼs Soul in no time and then awaken a Divine Rule from it.ʼ

ʼMoreover, I will be entering the upgraded version of the [Jade Pool] in the Great Jade Dragon Emperorʼs world. With my new cultivation technique and the Jade Pool, I can upgrade it to peak Emperor Realmʼs Cultivator Soul in no time.ʼ

There were many thoughts in Ajaxʼs head as he started planning it properly while his summoned beings started collecting the Darkfire Crystals around him.

ʼEven though the [Orb of Death] was not bad, I think I should cultivate a pure Dark-type Cultivatorʼs Law and parallelly focus on it.ʼ

After thinking for a moment, Ajax started thinking about cultivating a pure Cultivatorʼs Law before upgrading them with his Darkfire Crystals.

ʼAnyway, it is time to execute my plan.ʼ

Ajax decided to think about it later as he revealed a slight smile before thinking of executing his plan.
