New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1608 Usage Of Darkfire Crystal

Unlike Draco and others who became anxious to see a few thousand low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths and 100 mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths, Ajax became a little happy.

It was because, with so many Darkfire Wraiths, Ajax could collect so many Darkfire Crystals.

Before entering the Dark Region, Prince Dakon had already said that he needed to collect 100 Darkfire Crystals to enter the Fire Chamber to undergo Body Tempering.

According to Draco and other squad membersʼ conversations, Ajax thought he would have a difficult time collecting the 100 Darkfire Crystals.

However, who would have thought that there would be so many Darkfire Wraths in this world? Whatʼs more, instead of searching for them, those spectral creatures were coming to him.

Moreover, there was also another reason why Ajax wanted to stay back in this world to collect as many Darkfire Crystals as possible after seeing the information that the system had projected a few moments back.

ʼDing,

 Item Name: Darkfire Crystal (Low-level).

 Item Type: Special / Mysterious.

Use: It is one of the special foods for the Sentient Flames and Fire/Dark type Elemental Spirit that promotes their growth.

Even though the system had only finished the analysis of a low-level Darkfire Crystal, it was enough for Ajax to stay back in World No. 1021 to farm for the Darkfire Crystals.

As for the mid-level and even high-level Darkfire Crystals, they would definitely have more uses than low-level Darkfire Crystals.

Also, Ajax was surprised to see that Draco and others believed his words just like that, making him ask whether they were willing to stay back with him in the world.

”T-this…”

Fangorn hesitated a little to hear Ajaxʼs words and looked at Draco and the two humanoid Wyvern brothers who already nodded their heads.

”What? Draco, Wynd and Fyre, you are all going to stay back and fight the army of Spectral Creatures?”

Fangorn was grateful to Ajax for saving his life; however, he still felt it was not good to stay back and quietly leave this world.

”Even though Brother Ajax might be able to kill a high-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith, what about the 100 mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths?”

Fangorn tried to convince Draco and others because he was scared of staying in this world.

”Other than that, there are thousands of low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths. Do you really think we can survive if we stay back?”

Hearing Fangornʼs words, Draco and the two humanoid Wyvern brothers frowned.

”Fangorn, is that really you? Why are you so scared like it was your first life and death situation?”

Seeing that Fangorn was shivering non-stop, Draco felt something was really wrong with Fangorn as he asked Fangorn.

The reason why Draco and others formed their own Dark Region Exploration Squad was to experience the life and death battles while collecting enough Darkfire Crystals.

Moreover, the moment they feel they could not take on such a huge army, Draco could use the Return Token to leave the world with his entire team.

Earlier, when Fangorn was about to die, Draco had decided to use it; however, when he heard Ajaxʼs voice in his head regarding Fangornʼs safety, he didnʼt use it.

But, he could use that Return Token at any time to instantly teleport back to the Stormfire Wyvern World; however, it would cost them a lot to use the Return Token; instead of using the regular method of opening the Return Scroll.

Nevertheless, if any squad memberʼs life is in danger, Draco would not hesitate to use it as money canʼt be compared with the lives of his squad members.

”Draco…I am perfectly alright…”

Fangorn continued to shiver but he said that he was alright again and again, making Draco and others feel that he was definitely not alright!I think you should take a look at

ʼSystem, check whether it has something to do with the [Evil Spectral Scream you mentioned]?ʼ

As for Ajax, he also felt it and ordered the system to check on Fangorn.

ʼDing,

The system has detected that Fangorn was affected by a special effect of the Evil Spectral Scream, the [Fear].

ʼDing,

It magnifies even the smallest fear into the biggest fear and makes them complete cowards.

In no time, the system sent him a couple of system notifications, making him understand what really happened to Fangorn.

ʼHe is affected by a special effect from the earlier scream.ʼ

Ajax silently transmitted his voice to Draco and the two humanoid Wyvern brothers.

ʼNo wonder, he is behaving completely differently than usual.ʼ

Draco and the two humanoid Wyvern brothers believed Ajaxʼs words once again because they knew about Fangorn very well and Ajaxʼs words made perfect sense for them.

”It looks like we have to return, Brother Ajax.”

Even though they could fight the incoming army of the Spectral Creatures, Fangorn could not fight them in his current state.

Whatʼs more, he might even be killed by a low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith.

Hence, Draco decided that they should just leave World No. 1021.

”Wait a second.”

Ajax also thought it should be better to leave the world; however, he suddenly thought of something. So, he asked Draco to wait for a moment before he walked towards Fangorn with a plan in his head.

ʼI hope it works.ʼ

Ajax hoped his plan would work as he placed his hand on Fangornʼs back before injecting the Divine Essence of Nature into his body.

According to the system, the [Evil Spectral Scream] was a spirit attack and its effects could also be considered as spirit attacks.

Since his Divine Consciousness could resist the spirit beasts, Ajax thought the Divine Essence of Nature would also remove a negative status like [Fear].

ʼAaarghʼ

ʼPutongʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

Just as Ajax injected the Divine Essence of Nature, Fangorn groaned in pain before falling to his knees.

However, Ajax and others saw some black-coloured energy come out of Fangornʼs mouth and disappeared.

”Huf huf”

After the black energy dispersed, Fangorn gasped for breath and said, ”We are staying in this world and fighting these Spectral Creatures until the very last moment.”
