New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1620 Giant Darkfire Wraith Emperor

ʼDamn it…he is a Dark Elemental Summoner.ʼ

ʼHe has more or less the same advantage as us, the Spectral Creatures.ʼ

ʼAlso, his summons are just as powerful as him.ʼ

ʼAt this rate, we will lose all our armies in no time.ʼ

While Ajax was feeling proud of his summoned contracted spirit beasts and the elemental spirits, the 10 Darkfire Wraiths were cursing Ajax and his summoned beings.

At the same time, they started thinking about how to take care of Ajax before they lose their armies.

ʼI think we should go for our final move.ʼ

After thinking for a moment, the First Darkfire Wraith suggested using their final move.

ʼNo…I donʼt agree.ʼ

ʼMe too. In our current state, if we use that move, we might be able to kill him; however, we will soon die once the higher-ups of the human cultivators or the Dragons come here to look for this human and the other wyverns with him.ʼ

However, the three Darkfire Wraiths instantly rejected the First Darkfire Wraithʼs suggestion.

ʼWhat about you?ʼ

The First Darkfire Wraith didnʼt bother to argue with them as he looked at the six other Darkfire Wraiths and asked for their opinion.

ʼI think we should go with the First Darkfire Wraith.ʼ

ʼIf we canʼt survive today, what is the use of us having such a powerful move?ʼ

ʼFirst, I agree with your suggestion.ʼ

The remaining six Darkfire Wraiths thought for a moment and decided to go with the First Darkfire Wraithʼs suggestion.

ʼItʼs seven against three.ʼ

Seeing that the majority of the Darkfire Wraiths agreed to its suggestion, the First Darkfire Wraith heaved a sigh of relief and said to the three Darkfire Wraiths who were against its suggestion.

ʼAccording to the rules, even if you donʼt like it, we are going to use that move.ʼ

ʼScoffʼ

ʼEven if we survive today, we are not going to survive for long.ʼ

ʼIf we use that move now, even though we can become a peak Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith, we canʼt awaken our [Spectral Divine Rule].ʼ

The three Darkfire Wraiths were still against using their so-called trump card; however, they canʼt do anything now as the other seven Darkfire Wraiths want to use their trump card on Ajax.

Hence, they could only agree to it unwillingly.

ʼLetʼs use it.ʼ

Soon, the ten Darkfire Wraiths flew towards the First Darkfire Wraith and started merging into its body.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼAarghʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼAarghʼ

Every time a Darkfire Wraith leader entered the First Darkfire Wraithʼs body, it would eerily groan in pain; however, it gritted its teeth and endured it.

ʼSwooshʼ

With each merger, the First Darkfire Wraith became powerful as two huge bat wings appeared on its back and at the same time, its body also started growing at a rapid pace.

….

ʼDing,

The host gained one unit of the Divine Essence of Nature.

”Master, I think you should see it.”

As Ajax was circulating his Dragon-Soaring Nine Heavens cultivation technique to fill his Divine Spirit Consciousness, he heard Necrosʼ serious eerie voice that made him open his eyes.

As soon as he opened his eyes, Ajax saw a hideous spectral creature in the distance that was around 10 meters in height with huge bat wings on its back.

ʼScreechʼ

The merger of all ten Darkfire Wraiths had been completed and when the Giant Darkfire Wraith saw Ajax open his eyes, it revealed an evil smile on its ghastly face.

”Human…you destroyed our plans…we are going to kill you.”

From the Giant Darkfire Wraith, multiple voices came at once as they eerily looked at Ajax.

ʼDing,

Divine Spirit Consciousness: 10 units / 100 units.

”Is that so?”

Ajax checked his Divine Spirit Consciousness which he felt was more than enough for a while as he stood up.I think you should take a look at

”Everyone, come back.”

Before the Giant Darkfe Wraith could attack his summoned beings, Ajax ordered them to stop fighting the high-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths and stand behind him.

Even though his summoned beings could fight dozens of high-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths at once, Ajax knew it would be hard for them to deal with the Giant Darkfire Wraith which seemed to become a peak Emperor Realm existence.

ʼSystem, do you think it has a Divine Rule?ʼ

Ajax maintained his calm on his face as he silently asked the system about it.

According to Ajax, as long as the Giant Darkfire Wraith didnʼt have a Divine Rule, he could easily kill it.

ʼDing,

The system canʼt tell whether a certain cultivator or a being awakened a Divine Rule or not.

As Ajax expected, even the system was unable to tell it and thought, ʼAnyway, letʼs give it a try as I wanted to figure out how powerful I am.ʼ

Previously, Ajax fought with the Winged Golden Demon Emperor, Wingo. During that fight, Ajax was not using his full power as he was worried that he might kill Wingo as he had a mission of turning him into his subordinate.

Even though he used the Divine Thunder Rule, he didnʼt use any skills or attacks with it. He casually displays the power of the Divine Thunder Rule and the winged golden demon emperor already submitted to him.

However, now, Ajax doesnʼt have to worry about accidentally killing the other party and could go all out.

Therefore, Ajax was excited about it.

ʼFirst, I have to test how strong it is and depending on that I have to use the Divine Thunder Rule.ʼ

With his current body, Ajax could only use the [Divine Thunder Rule] for one minute before his body explodes due to the energy overload.

Therefore, Ajax could use that double-edged sword trump card only after he understood his opponent first.

[Thousand Blades Torrent]

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

Ajax used his strongest move to kill the remaining high-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths that were still left in front of him with his sword technique.

[Celestial Void Step]

ʼSwooshʼ

[Heavenly Thunderstrike Palm]

ʼBoomʼ

Without wasting any time, Ajax appeared behind the Giant Darkfire Wraith and used his full-powered palm technique.

ʼSwooshʼ

The Giant Darkfire Wraith was only pushed away by a few meters and the burnt mark on the place where Ajax attacked was healed in no time.

”Itʼs useless, Human. You are going to die today…hehe.”

[Mega Dark Spectral Claw]

The multiple voices resounded as the Giant Darkfire Wraith rushed towards Ajax in an instant and swiped its signature skill at Ajax.

ʼSwooshʼ

Ajax was fast enough to dodge the attack.

”I got you…hehe.”

However, in the next second, it disappeared from its place and appeared in front of Ajax.

”Even I can teleport…hehe.”

[Mega Spectral Scream]

[Mega Dark Spectral Claw]

This time, the Giant Darkfire Wraith wanted to finish Ajax at any cost.

Thus, it used another skill that could reduce the battle spirit of its opponents before using its signature skill.

ʼDing,

The Giant Darkfire Wraith uses a special skill to affect your battle spirit. Thanks to your Divine Spirit Consciousness, the host remains unaffected.

What followed after the system notification was a Giant Darkfire Wraith swiping its huge Claw at Ajax; however, he didnʼt have the time to dodge. So, he could only block the incoming claws with his Soulslasher Sword.

ʼBoomʼ

Still, Ajax was unable to escape the attack completely as he was blasted into the distance.

”Cough”

Nevertheless, Ajax stood up and looked at the Giant Darkfire Wraith and muttered, ”Itʼs time to kill you now.”

ʼRumbleʼ
