New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1602 Darkfire Wraith

”Wynd, Fyre, and Fangorn, you three take care of its minions. I will stall for time with the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths.”

Since Draco and others were working together in the exploration of the Dark Region, Draco didnʼt explain things in detail as he knew the squad members would understand.

”As for you, you can assist them if you want but donʼt get in their way.”

At the same time, Draco thought for a moment before saying these words to Ajax before saying, ”As soon as I give out the signal, letʼs rush forward and kill as many minions as possible before going with the plan.”

Even though Draco didnʼt know how capable Ajax was, he didnʼt underestimate him because he was recommended by Prince Dakon who would soon become the Emperor of the Stormfire Wyvern World.

Moreover, Draco could tell that Ajax was a little different from the humans he had seen in the past.

Nevertheless, it still didnʼt change the fact that he looked down on Ajax for being human and didnʼt expect much from Ajax.

ʼAs long as he didnʼt drag us down, itʼs alright! We can carry him for the sake of Prince Dakon.ʼ

This was what he said to his squad members to calm them down.

Soon, he started observing a group of creatures in the distance along with his squad members.

ʼSo, they are the Darkfire Wraiths that everyone is talking about.ʼ

Ajax was also looking at the creatures with an interesting look on his face because it was his first time seeing such creatures.

They seem like they have an ethereal form, with semi-translucent bodies and flickering with a haunting, dimly glowing flame. Flames are dancing along their spectral bodies, emitting a dark, smoky aura that twists and curls around them.

ʼDing,

  Creature Name: Darkfire Wraith.

  Strength: Low-level Emperor Realm.

Information: An evil creature born from the dark and evil energy in the world and eventually gained consciousness before starting cultivating. Once they form a Darkfire Crystal in them, they have the strength of an Emperor Realm and the crystal grows and turns dark, its strength increases.

Uses of the Darkfire Crystal: Still Unknown but the system will find out if the host has the sample. Try to get a sample to get more information about the Darkfire Crystal.

At the same time, Ajax received the information about the Darkfire Wraith from the system which was mostly the information that the system came up with after listening to the conversations of Draco and others.

As Fangorn said, there were a total of 15 low-level and one mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths.

The main differences between the low-level and mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths are their body sizes, colour and the size of the flames around their bodies.

ʼThey are floating at the same place without moving as though they are cultivating.ʼ

From his observations, Ajax guessed about it; however, he didnʼt expect that he was right as Draco said the same thing.

”Everyone, letʼs go. Aim for the black hearts to kill them in a single blow.”

After observing for a while, Draco finally gave the signal as Draco and others rushed at the group of Darkfire Wraiths.

ʼShould I observe for some more time or enter into the action with them?ʼ

Ajax thought about it for a moment before rejecting the thought of entering into the action right now.

He had two reasons:I think you should take a look at

One. He wanted to see how these Darkfire Wraiths fight and what type of attacks they would use.

Two. Ajax was curious about Draco and othersʼ fighting styles and what types of skills and cultivation techniques they use.

Ajax was not worried much about being unable to collect 100 Darkfire Crystals to get permission to enter the Fire Chamber because there were still nearly two days.

Once he understood about the things in the Dark World and the Darkfire Wraiths, Ajax was confident in collecting the 100 Darkfire Crystals within a single day.

Whether it was overconfidence or arrogance or believing in himself, it would be only a matter of time before finding it out.

ʼSwooshʼ

Two huge Wyvern Wings appeared behind Draco and Fangorn as the four squads flew at the group of Darkfire Wraiths at an incredible speed.

By the time Ajax closed and opened his eyelids, Draco had already reached the two low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths.

[Thundering Talon Strike]

Without giving them any chance, Draco activated one of the cultivation techniques that he developed from his skill and in the next second, his hands transformed into Wyvern claws and struck those two Darkfire Wraithsʼ hearts

ʼPuchiʼ

ʼPuchiʼ

Since they were not ready, the two low-level Darkfire Wraiths died just like that; however, Draco used the same moment to kill another two; however, they were a little fast and dodged the critical strike.

”Everyone, letʼs go with the plan.”

Even though Draco injured those two low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths, he didnʼt bother to fight them as he hurriedly rushed towards the mid-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths.

At the same time, he didnʼt forget to command his squad members.

On the other hand, Fangorn and the humanoid Wyvern brothers also used one of their powerful cultivation techniques to kill one low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraith each.

After their surprise attack, only 10 low-level Emperor Realm Darkfire Wraiths were left and according to Dracoʼs plan, Fagorn and others should kill them all as soon as possible before joining him to kill the mid-level Emperor Real Darkfire Wraith.

”Wynd, Fyre, letʼs show the new guys what we are capable of.”

Even though Fangorn didnʼt voice his opinion on Ajax, he wanted to prove to Ajax that the Wyverns were much stronger than humans.

Hence, he asked the humanoid Wyvern brothers to show their strength to Ajax.

”Sure.”

The two brothers were excited because of Fangornʼs words because they were suppressing their anger towards Ajax until now and finally, they could vent their anger on the Darkfire Wraiths.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

”Fangorn, we fell into a trap.”

However, before they could start attacking, they heard Dracoʼs shocked words they soon noticed that two groups of Darkfire Wraiths were flying towards them at a good speed.
