New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1597 Exploration Of The Dark Region

The reason why Prince Dakon gave the Teleportation Token to Mostror was for Mostror or any one of his disciples to undergo the body tempering with the sentient flame.

Hence, after talking with Ajax for a while, he directly came to the main point and at the same time, he informed Ajax that he needed to prove himself before getting an opportunity to undergo the body tempering with the sentient flame.

”Prove myself?”

Ajax was surprised to hear that; however, when he thought about it, he could guess, ʼWhy would I get an opportunity to undergo the body tempering with a ranked sentient flame so easily?ʼ

Getting the Teleportation Token to the Stormfire Wyvern World was already a huge opportunity that most emperor realm cultivators could not get.

From that perspective, Ajax was quite lucky to have a master like Mostror.

”How do I do that?”

Nevertheless, putting aside his thoughts, Ajax respectively asked Prince Dakon about it.

”It is simple. You just have to kill 100 Darkfire Wraiths and bring Darkfire Crystals from their bodies. ”

Prince Dakon revealed a slight smile as he explained what Ajax had to do to get the opportunity to undergo body tempering.

”Darkfire Wraiths? Darkfire Crystals?”

Prince Dakon thought he had explained clearly; however, seeing the confused look on Ajaxʼs face, he concluded, ”It looks like Brother Mostror didnʼt explain anything to do.”

”Nevermind, I will explain.”

If it was anyone else, Prince Dakon would have not bothered to explain; however, Ajax was the disciple of a person who saved him multiple times.

Hence, Prince Dakon was patient with Ajax and started explaining the things that Mostror was supposed to say.

”You must know about the regions in this universe, right?”

Seeing Ajax nodding his head, Prince Dakon said, ”The worlds that were sharing the borders of the worlds from the Dark Region always have the problem with the Dark Creatures.”

”Every month, these worlds from the Dragon Region and the Human Region would send a group of Emperor Realm cultivators to explore the worlds in the Dark Region and kill those dark creatures called Darkfire Wraiths.”

”It is because of this joint exploration of the worlds in the Dark Region, I was able to meet your Master who even fought with his fellow human cultivators to protect me while risking his life just because I gave him a single Legend Grade Weapon.”

Back then, Mostror was quite poor and didnʼt even have the money to buy a powerful Legend Grade weapon and was using only a Heaven Grade Weapon. Because of his poverty, Mostror joined the exploration team to the worlds in the Dark Region.

Prince Dakon who had a bunch of Legend Grade weapons on him casually threw one weapon to Mostror, making Mostror emotional.

It was the first time that someone gifted him such a precious gift and hence Mostror didnʼt hesitate to risk his life to protect Prince Dakon.

”Uncle Dakon…wait for a second…my master was poor and joined the exploration team to earn some high-grade spirit stones for cultivation?”

Ajax never in his dreams expected that his master was poor. So, when he heard Prince Dakonʼs words, he was shocked.

”Yes..yes. Even though I threw that weapon at him while mocking him that he was poor, he picked that weapon and sincerely thanked me. Not only that, he fought his fellow cultivators and risked his life to protect me.”

Speaking of the past, Prince Dakon could not help but have mixed emotions.

”I was quite arrogant and looked down on the humans but Mostror changed my thoughts about the humans.”

”Uncle Dakon, if my Mostror joined the exploration realm to earn some quick bucks, why did you join it? Donʼt tell me your kingdom was also poor and forced you to join the exploration team.”

Suddenly, Ajax thought of something and asked Prince Dakon about it.

”Haha…I knew you would ask this question.”

To Ajaxʼs question, Prince Dakon laughed before explaining, ”Unlike the humans who only send poor and desperate cultivators to enter the Dark Region to earn spirit stones, the cultivators from the dragon race enter the Dark Region to train and make themselves stronger.”I think you should take a look at

”Of course, even in the human race, there would be occasionally some sect members join the exploration teams; however, as I said it is very rare.”

Prince Dakon explained a few more things about their Dragon Race and finally came to the main point.

”Most of the worlds in the Dark Regions have only one type of creature and they are called Darkfire Wraiths and for those in the Emperor Realm, they were quite quiet to train with.”

Prince Dakon paused for a moment before saying, ”And the answer to your first question is, you have to kill 100 of these Darkfire Wraiths and collect the Darkfire Crystals left behind by them.”

”As long as you can bring back 100 Darkfire Crystals from the Dark Region, you can undergo the body tempering with the Ranked Sentient Flame. Also, all the Stormfire Wyverns including me had to go through this process before undergoing the body tempering with that flame.”

Prince Dakonʼs last words surprised Ajax a little; however, he soon understood how things worked in the Dragon Region…at least in the Stormfire Wyvern World.

”Coincidentally, two new exploration squads will enter the Dark Region tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. If you want, I can add you to any one of those two teams. What do you say?”

After finishing his explanation, Prince Dakon asked Ajax whether he wanted to join the exploration team or quit his thoughts on undergoing the body tempering with the sentient flame.

”I will join tomorrowʼs exploration squad, Uncle Dakon.”

Ajax thought about it for a moment before saying that he would join the exploration squad.

”Thatʼs how a cultivator should be.”

Prince Dakonʼs impression of Ajax increased a lot after hearing Ajaxʼs reply and nodded his head.

”Rest for tonight. I will send someone to inform you in the morning regarding the exploration squad.”

After talking for a while, Prince Dakon left the Guest Palace and arranged things for Ajax.

ʼEven though he only needed 10 Darkfire Crystals to bring back, I want to see how special he was for Brother Mostror to give my Teleportation Token to him.ʼ

Prince Dakon didnʼt have any evil intentions towards Ajax as he was only curious about the strength of his Brotherʼs disciple.

ʼEven if he brings back 10 Darkfire Crystals, I will let him undergo the body tempering with the Stormfire.ʼ

With that thought in mind, Prince Dakon quietly left as he ordered one of his servants to take care of Ajaxʼs arrangements.

….

In the guest palace,

ʼSince I still have more than 16 hours before, I will just cultivate.ʼ

After Ajax unlocked the Blessed Refining Cultivation Technique, he didnʼt officially cultivate it because he wanted to test the cultivation techniqueʼs effects inside the Jade Pool.

However, it was postponed and he entered the Stormfire Wyvern World to undergo body tempering.

Now, he even got a lot of time to cultivate and hence, Ajax decided to test the effects of his new cultivation technique.

[Dragon-Soaring Nine Heavens]

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as he started circulating the cultivation technique, the essence of nature in a radius of around 100 kilometers rushed towards him and entered his body at lightning speed.

ʼDing,

The host has circulated his main cultivation technique and gained +1 unit of Divine Essence of Nature.
