New Age Of Summoners

1570 Contracted Spirit Beast versus Demon Apostle (1)

Since Dilgin had already sealed the entire space around the world, he was not worried that Ajax could escape.

Moreover, compared to killing Ajax, the Great Golden Demon Emperor preferred to turn Ajax into a slave.

Hence, he wanted to try a few things to turn Ajax into a slave and if they didnʼt work, then, he didnʼt mind killing Ajax.

ʼBy doing so, at least I donʼt have any regrets in the future.ʼ

For a cultivator, whether it was a human or a demon, regrets from the past would create inner demons and these demons would stop them from progressing in their cultivation.

Hence, the Great Golden Demon Emperor was going with the flow to turn Ajax into a slave.

”You….donʼt kill him. Just defeat him.”

After selecting a Zeroth Order Demon Apostle, Dilgin ordered him not to kill Ajax during the fight because Dilgin wanted Ajax to be alive.

Among the 100 Zeroth Order Demon Apostles, all of them have the similar strength of High-level Emperor Realm Cultivation. Moreover, if all 1000 of these Zeroth Order Demon Apostles worked together, even Dilgin, the Great Golden Demon Emperor would die without a doubt.

ʼIf he could defeat him, I will just select another Zeroth Order Demon Apostle and at some point, he would have no choice but to become the slave of one of the Demon Apsotle.ʼ

Since Ajax was only a high-level king realm cultivator, there was no way for him to kill a Zeroth Order Demon Apostle and even if he was defeated, Dilgin had already planned to continue the same process until Ajax could not fight anymore.

”Sure.”

Ajax nodded his head at the Great Golden Demon Emperorʼs suggestion and ordered Alder, ”Alder, you can defeat him, right?”

Thatʼs right!

Ajax was not planning to fight the Zeroth Order Demon Apostle, instead, he was planning to send Alder, the leader of the Devourer Eagle Kings to fight the demon apostle.

”With ease, master.”

As a beast with a mid-level emperor realmʼs strength, Alder was confident in killing the high-level Golden Demon Emperor and nodded its head at Ajax.

”If you need any help, just say it.”

After saying that, Ajax sent Alder to fight against the Demon Apostle, making Dilgin not surprised at all.

From the Great Golden Demon Emperorʼs perspective, among Ajaxʼs all contracted spirit beasts and the elemental spirits, only Alder has the highest strength and without a doubt, Dilgin could guess that Ajax would send the Devourer Eagle King.

”If your beast gets defeated, you will let my Demon Apostle leave his Demonic Mark on your Spirit consciousness.”

Before the fight started, Dilgin reminded Ajax of their condition.

”And what if my Spirit Beast defeats your Demon Apostle? What are you going to do?”

Ajax nodded his head at Dilginʼs words and at the same time, he asked what he would get if his spirit beast wins.

”Do you even have a choice here?”

Dilgin scoffed at Ajaxʼs words and said, ”Donʼt misunderstand that just because I want you as my slave doesnʼt mean I would hear all your requests.”

”If you feel itʼs unfair, you can die by my hands.”

The Great Golden Demon Emperor didnʼt bother to wait for Ajaxʼs reply as he ordered the Demon Apostle, ”What are you waiting for? Begin the fight.”

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as Dilgin finished his words, the Demon Apostle brandished his huge demonic sword and rushed towards the Devourer Eagle King.

[Emperor Acceleration]

ʼSwooshʼ

As for the Devourer Eagle King, it activated his Beast Soul and soon, a transparent eagle came out of Alderʼs body and covered its whole body.

ʼSwooshʼ

In the next second, the speed of the Devourer Eagle King had increased to a level where it left behind after images and instantly appeared in front of the Demon Apostle.

Alder has mainly focused on only two laws and they were [Acceleration] and the other one was [Devour].

Soon, those laws were turned into King Souls and then became Emperor Souls called [Emperor Acceleration] and [Full Demonic Devour].

[Feather Blast]

ʼSwooshʼ

Before the Demon Apostle could do anything, Alder used a skill that blasted thousands of its feathers in the direction of the Demon Apostle.

[Golden Demon Armour]

[Golden Demon Sword]

Even though the Devou Eagleʼs attacks were fast, the Demon Apostle unconsciously activated his Emperor-level Demonic Soul.

Just like how Alder mastered two of his innate laws to the emperor realm, the Demon Apostle also did the same and the innate laws of the Golden Demon Emperor were [Demon Armour] and [Demon Sword] which turned into [Golden Demon Armour] and [Golden Demon Sword].

ʼClangʼ

ʼPangʼ

Among thousands of feathers, only 100 or so feathers were aimed at the Demon Apostle in which half of them were blocked by the Transparent Demonic Armour around him.

Whereas the other half was blocked by the Demon Apostleʼs swordsmanship.

”Do you know how the Zeroth Order Demon Apostles are created? If you know, you wonʼt waste any time fighting them.”

After the Demon Apostle blocked the feather bullets, the Great Golden Demon Emperor looked at Ajax and asked, ”Should I tell you?”

However, there was no response from Ajax, making Dilgin think that Ajax was not interested.

”Nevermind, all you need to know is that they were created to never lose in a fight.”

After saying that, Dilgin continued to watch the fight which started to become intense.

ʼIt looks like he got a powerful beast under his control.ʼ

Seeing how the Devour Eagle King was able to fight against the Demon Apostle on equal grounds, Dilgin was surprised at Ajax.

Not only did Ajax have a Divine Dragon but he also had a rare beast Devourer Eagle King that could fight his Zeroth Order Demon Apostle on equal grounds.

ʼScreechʼ

Soon, the fight started turning in the favour of the Devour Eagle King, making the Great Golden Demon Emperor frown a little.

[Demon Godʼs Bloodline, activate]

In the next second, the Demon Apostle activated his bloodline and soon, his aura changed.

ʼHis…aura ... .is becoming powerful?ʼ

Alder felt fear in his heart; however, it had only one thought, ʼI have to keep going to make my masterʼs plan successful.ʼ
