New Age Of Summoners

1562 Battle Between the Rulers (2)

ʼSwiishʼ

ʼSwiishʼ

The red-coloured bats were small but very fast as they reached the birdmen with gold-silver wings and started to attack them.

”No need to hold back. Go all out and kill them.”

The golden-winged middle-aged man ordered his 100 subordinates without blinking his eyes.

”Yes, Leader.”

Soon, the 100 bird men replied in a serious tone as they summoned silver-coloured swords and started slashing at the incoming blood bats.

”Maximus, are you starting a war between our regions?”

The golden-winged middle-aged man spoke with a face full of seriousness as he asked the handsome man in a red-coloured suit.

”Aveline, you speak as though there was no war between our region?”

ʼSwooshʼ

After scoffing, the man in the suit turned into a huge red-coloured bat and started attacking the golden-winged man.

”It looks like you are seeking your death today.”

The middle-aged man was furious when the handsome man mentioned his son; however, he knew that the other party wanted to make him angry.

However, he suppressed his anger and replied calmly before brandishing a golden sword and starting his fight with the handsome man who transformed into a bad.

….

ʼAre they the rulers of two different regions on the floating island?ʼ

From their brief conversation, Ajax silently muttered to himself.

On the Floating Island, there were a total of six regions. Among them, five belong to Fire, Water, Earth, Wind and Metal.

The sixth region, it is a core region and the most mysterious region filled with powerful beasts above the Emperor Realm.

ʼIt looks like the rulers of each region eye the other regions. Itʼs the same everywhere.ʼ

Ajax continued to think while hiding his presence, ʼI wonder whether I can fish to benefit from their fight?ʼ

The benefit Ajax was thinking about was taking revenge on the Golden-winged man.

ʼIt was because of him, I was unable to move freely on the Floating Island and was unable to find any Mythical Grade Healing items for Snow.ʼ

Hence, Ajax wanted to find an opportunity to kill the Golden-Winged middle-aged man with his own hands.

ʼHowever, even if I can find an opportunity to kill him, I donʼt think that Blood Bat would let me off.ʼ

Ajax was not in a hurry to rush into the fight between two big shots.

Since the fight between the two rulers had just begun, Ajax planned, ʼI will wait until they exhaust themselves and kill them both.ʼ

From the conversation alone, Ajax could tell that both of them were proud and arrogant beings. So, if he stole their prey, he would be hunted down.

With that thought in mind, Ajax continued to wait as he watched the fight between the big shots.

….

”Maximus, do you think you can win against me? Did you forget that you are in my territory?”

Aveline, the golden-winged middle-aged man scoffed at the blood bat as he slash at one of the four wings of the blood bat.

ʼSlashʼ

ʼScreechʼ

The blood bat screeched in pain after losing one of its wings and soon after, it lost its balance and fell close to the place where Ajax was hiding.

ʼSlashʼ

ʼSlashʼ

At the same time, his subordinates had already killed all the blood bats with some minor injuries on their body; however, no one had died, making Aveline proud.

”I heard you have some problems with your brain, it looks like you are really crazy to enter my territory alone.”

Even though Aveline said that deep in his heart, he felt something was wrong because the fight was easy as he hardly used any of his powerful moves.

At the same time, Maximum, the blood vampire king also didnʼt use any of his powerful moves, making Aveline a little worried.

ʼI have to finish him before he can make any surprise moves.ʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

With that thought in mind, Aveline tightened the grip around the hilt of his sword and flew towards the place where Maximus had crashed earlier, hoping to finish him.

”Huh? Where did he go?”

However, just when Aveline was able to use his powerful move to kill the huge blood bat, it disappeared by leaving a pool of blood on the ground.

”Are you searching for me?”

In the next second, thousands of small blood bats rushed out of the blood pool and attacked Aveline.

ʼSlashʼ

ʼSlashʼ

Aveline was good with his sword as he killed more than a dozen blood bats in each strike; however, he failed to kill one blood bat that bit him.

”Damn you….little bat!”

Nevertheless, Aveline killed it too by crushing it.

”Maximus, as a ruler arenʼt you ashamed to hide like a coward?”

Aveline knew that Maximus was still alive and looking at the bite marks on his chest, he was a little worried and wanted to kill Maximum at any cost today.

”Aveline, I think I have had enough fun for today. Letʼs meet some other day and at that time, you will be kneeling in front of me for sure.”

ʼSwooshʼ

As Aveline was crushing Maximusʼ cheap tricks, he heard Maximusʼ loud and proud voice from the distance and before he could do anything, he disappeared into the horizon.

”What? Damn you….little bat. Just wait for a couple of years, I will be entering the core region of the Floating Island.”

Aveline felt he was humiliated by the Maximus as he swore, ”Once I return from the core region, I will conquer the water region first and torture you until you beg me to kill you.”

After saying that, he flew into the air and ordered, ”I will give you one more year to find that killer who killed my son. If you failed to find it, you should kill yourself because my punishment would be more cruel than death.”

After saying those words, Aveline didnʼt look back as he flew into the distance, leaving behind his 100 subordinates with peak emperor realm cultivation.

”Yes, Leader.”

Looking at the silhouette of Aveline, they bowed and looked at each before splitting in different directions.
