New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1587 Cooldown And Duration

  ʼDing,

Please retract your Divine Rule as soon as possible unless you want to die.

ʼWhat? I will die?ʼ

Ajax was shocked by the sudden system notification; however, he hurriedly cancelled his Divine Thunder Rule.

ʼSwooshʼ

Soon, the lightning snakes around him disappeared without a trace and at the same time, Ajax felt his entire body become weakened.

ʼPhewʼ

Only after all the lightning arcs around his body had disappeared, Ajax heaved a sigh of relief and asked the system, ʼSystem care to explain whatʼs that about?ʼ

According to the system, Divine Rules are the upgraded version of an Emperor Grade Cultivatorʼs soul. So, why would a cultivator die for using his own Divine Rule?

ʼIs it because of my strength being a low-level Emperor Realm Cultivator?ʼ

Thatʼs the only possibility that Ajax was able to come up with as he waited for the systemʼs explanation.

ʼDing,

Thatʼs right! The hostʼs strength is still too low to use the Divine Rules for long durations.

It was what Ajax had thought as the system continued to explain more about it.

ʼDing,

Divine Rules are for those who reached peak Emperor Realm Cultivation and successfully upgraded their cultivatorʼs souls into Divine Rules.

ʼDing,

Even then, those cultivators canʼt handle the power of the Divine Rules unless they undergo the tribulation and ascend to a higher realm.

ʼDing,

Currently, the hostʼs physical body could be compared to those at the high-level emperor realm and thus, he could barely use a Divine Rule for one minute and after that, the hostʼs body might explode at any time.

ʼHm…I understand.ʼ

After experiencing the power of a Divine Rule, Ajax understood what the system was trying to say.

The power that Ajax felt while using the Divine Thunder Rule was much higher than the feeling that he had when he activated his ex-bloodlines that could increase his battle prowess by 10x times.

Of course, Ajax had broken through to the Emperorʼs realm and it was really not a good comparison, but still, it was the first time he felt that he could instantly kill the Great Golden Demon Emperor if he fought with him again.

ʼDing,

For the hostʼs safety, the system has come up with the usage time and the cooldown for the Divine Rules.

ʼDing,

Divine Rule: Thunder (1 percent) (Not upgradeable).

  Duration: One minute.

  Cooldown: One week.

ʼDing,

Divine Rule: Demon (0.01 percent) (Not upgradeable).

  Duration: 10 seconds.

  Cooldown: One month.

Just as Ajax was about to go and have a chat with his most powerful demon follower, he received a few more system notifications.

ʼHuh?ʼ

Looking at the duration and cooldown for his second demon rule, Ajax frowned; however, he thought, ʼIt might be because of my awakening percent.ʼI think you should take a look at

ʼAnyway, even though I have the strongest trump cards, I have to be careful while using them.ʼ

With his current strength, Ajax doesnʼt have to use the Divine Rules much and could take care of his opponents with his new skills and cultivation techniques.

Moreover, he even has his army of Devourer Eagle Kings which would become the peak of Emperor Realmʼs existence once he enters the Floating Island.

ʼOnce I enter the Floating Island, I will not only take my revenge but take full control over the Floating Island.ʼ

Thatʼs right!

From the beginning, Ajax had his eyes on the Floating Island; however, at that time, he was not strong enough and suppressed that thought.

However, things were different now and the Floating Island was very useful for him to nurture his Elemental Spirits and the Contracted Spirit Beasts.

ʼOnce I have that Floating Island, all my elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts would reach the peak Emperor realm in just a few years.ʼ

One day in the outside world is equivalent to one year on the floating island and with such a huge time factor, Ajax and his army would rise to a completely new level in a short time.

ʼAlso, there are countless Mythical Grade Treasures inside the Floating Island. With them, not only could I revive Snow but I can also create a new body for my Father.ʼ

Just thinking about owning the Floating Island was making Ajax excited and made him look forward to the day he enters the Floating Island.

”Anyway, itʼs time to talk with Wingo.”

Keeping aside those things, Ajax walked towards the Winged Golden Demon Emperor who was still shaking in fear due to Ajaxʼs usage of Divine Thunder.

”How long do you need to get full control over this Golden Demon Territory?”

Without wasting any time, Ajax directly came to the point.

”I-it will take at least one month as I still have to take care of a dozen high-level Demon Emperors.”

After thinking for a moment, Wingo answered Ajax with a face full of respect and fear.

”Then one month is it.”

Ajax didnʼt urge Wingo to do things faster and let him do it at his own pace before saying, ”After I return after exactly one month by them, I want you to be the True Ruler of this Golden Demon Territory.”

”If you can do that, I will help you take care of the other four Great Demon Territories and make you the Leader of the Great Demon Emperor and the ruler of the entire Demon Region in the universe.”

”Thank you, master.”

If it was before he witnessed Ajaxʼs usage of the Divine Thunder Rule, Wingo might have had some doubts regarding Ajaxʼs words; however, there was no shred of doubt as he completely believed Ajax.

”Also, after you successfully become the True Ruler of this Territory, evacuate all the inhabitants from ten Greater Worlds, 100 Normal Worlds and 1000 Small Worlds.”

Ajax didnʼt forget about the main thing as he informed Wingo about the worlds in his territory, ʼThe level of these worlds doesnʼt matter, whether they were barren worlds or vacant worlds or low-level worlds, I want the number of the worlds I mentioned.ʼ

Even among the grades of the worlds, 10 levels were starting from level 1 to level 10 and so far, Ajax didnʼt find any differences in the world cores he obtained and even the system considered it as the world core of that grade.

Hence, Ajax gave Wingo an option to choose the newly ascended worlds or barren worlds or the world with fewer resources, making Wingo agree to his words without any hesitation.

”I will get them ready by the time the master returns.”

Wingo nodded his head and reminded Ajax, ”By the way master, arenʼt you going to imprint your spiritual mark on my Demonic Consciousness?”

Even though Wingo had already sworn an oath on his Demonic Heart, the cultivators would make sure their servants wonʼt even have the thoughts of harming their master and hence, they would place the spiritual mark on their Demonic Consciousness.

”There is no need for such things as I believe you and your oath on the Demonic Heart.”

Of course, it was a lie and the reason why Ajax believed that Wingo wouldnʼt betray him was because of the systemʼs notification.

ʼDing,

Special Demonic Follower: Wingo (Dead Loyal).

Hence, Ajax felt there was no need to leave his spiritual mark on Wingoʼs Demonic Consciousness.

”Also, here are the things that I promised you to give.”

As soon as he said those words, Ajax took 12 Assassin God Statues out of his space ring, making Wingo excited.
