New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1097: Awakening Aqua Dragonʼs Bloodline

If Ajax had to use his own strength instead of summoning his elemental spirits or contracted spirit beasts, then he doubts he would win against the owner of the dimensional crevice.

Moreover, since he stays in the dimensional crevice, his cultivation would be not limited by the Zrochester province. So, chances of him already having a cultivation of the King realm are high.

So, Ajax didnʼt want to take the risk as he was not in a hurry to upgrade his dimensional crevice.

Currently, Ajax had many other things to take care of and decided to postpone the dimensional crevice challenge for his next visit to the Purple stone world.

”Cerauno, Volcanis…..”

After going back to Gaimontʼs territory, Ajax summoned a few of his elemental spirits and ordered, ”Everyone split up and bring me the corpses of rank 3 and above spirit beasts.”

”Yes, summoning master.”

All the selected elemental spirits nodded their heads and they didnʼt know the reason because they already knew that the grey dwarves needed food.

”Keep two things in mind. One, donʼt kill the spirit beast that gains consciousness and keep bodies as clean as possible.”

Nodding his head, Ajax stressed two things.

”We will try our best, summoning master.”

The elemental spirits understood what they had to do. So, left the territory to hunt for the rank 3 spirit beasts in the middle section of the cursed wilderness.

Ajax didnʼt mind killing the mindless rank 3 spirit beasts as they are yet to develop a consciousness and only follow the basic bestial instinct.

Also, he only chose the elemental spirits for the mission as he wanted clean bodies which were not possible by his contracted spirit beasts.

”Itʼs time for a new bloodline.”

Once he gave the orders to his elemental spirit, Ajax ordered Darbudr to take care of the Battle beasts formation while he decided to awaken a new bloodline.

He already has two bloodlines, ʼAbyssal beast god bloodlineʼ and ʼElemental spirit mergerʼ and now, he was going to awaken a dragon bloodline. So, of course, he was excited.

Soon, he entered a special cultivation chamber of the territory lord.

”System, show me how many aqua dragon bloodline points I have.”

Once he settled in the cultivation chamber, Ajax asked the system about the bloodline points.

ʼDing,

Aqua dragon bloodline points:- 1405.

ʼDing,

The host has more than 100 bloodline points for a specific bloodline. Do you want to awaken that bloodline?

Not only did the system show the current bloodline points for the aqua dragon bloodline but it also asked him whether he wanted to awaken the bloodline.

”Why not? Go ahead and awaken the bloodline.”

With a slight smile on his face, Ajax asked the system to awaken the bloodline.

ʼDing,

100 aqua dragon bloodline points are consumed.

ʼDing,

Awakening the aqua dragon bloodline. Please bear the pain as the bloodline awakening process is forceful.

ʼAarghʼ

Just as the system notifications rang in his head, Ajax collapsed to the ground as he felt the pain that was much greater than the pain he had endured so far.

Nevertheless, he gritted his teeth while motivating himself, ʼFor a powerful bloodline Aqua dragon, this much pain is nothing.ʼ

Time continued to pass and the pain in his body stabilized as Ajax heaved a sigh of relief.

ʼDing,

Congratulations to the host for successfully awakening the aqua dragon bloodline.

ʼDing,

Please check the effects of the bloodline in the ʼBloodlineʼ section.

Soon after, he received confirmation notifications from the system regarding the bloodline.

ʼLetʼs see what powerful effects it has.ʼ

Ajax wiped the sweat off his forehead as he opened the user interface and focused on his new bloodline.

ʼDing,

Bloodline Name:- Aqua dragon bloodline (level 1).

Effects:- When the bloodline is activated, 5 times increment in the userʼs battle prowess if he is on the ground and 10 times increment if he is in water.

Note:- It is not stackable with other bloodlines.

ʼFive times increment just from a level 1 bloodline?ʼ

Ajax was shocked by the only effect of the aqua dragon bloodline.

ʼNo wonder a dragon is a dragon. Even though the Aqua dragon belongs to the lowest class in the dragon race, they are still dragons. Just activating this bloodline gives me more increment in my battle prowess than the Abyssal beast god bloodline.ʼ

Even though he said that he hurriedly shook his head while muttering, ʼI canʼt compare them. Abyssal beast god bloodline can increase the battle prowess for all my elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts.ʼ

Soon, he stopped comparing both the bloodlines and looked at the other part of the effect.

ʼEven though it gives me 10 times the increment of battle prowess if I stay in water; however, battles in the water are rare and I donʼt when I will be fighting. Still, it is a good trump card in case I fight in the water.ʼ

With that thought in his mind, Ajax looked at the remaining aqua dragon bloodline points.

ʼSystem, what can I do with the remaining bloodline points? Can I increase the bloodline level?ʼ

Ajax was hoping he would increase the bloodline level; otherwise, it would be a waste to have 1305 aqua bloodline points with him.

So, he asked the system regarding it.

ʼDing,

Yes. With the bloodline points of a specific bloodline, the host can increase that bloodlineʼs level.

ʼExcellent.ʼ

Ajax became excited as he hurriedly asked the system, ”Just upgrade the aqua dragon bloodline to the maximum.”

Once he got the confirmation from the system that he could upgrade the bloodline as long as he had the bloodline points, why would he waste any more time?

Without wasting any time, he asked the system to upgrade the bloodline.

ʼDing,

It requires 1000 aqua dragon bloodline points to upgrade the aqua dragon bloodline to level 2. Do you still want to upgrade it?

ʼ1000? Thatʼs a lot.ʼ

Ajax raised his brows as he thought for a moment before saying, ʼWhat can I do with the bloodline points anyway? So, just upgrade it.ʼ

Keeping the bloodline points with him just because the bloodline upgrade cost is high was the worst thing to do. So, he gave permission to upgrade the bloodline.

ʼDing,

Other than upgrading the bloodline points with the respective bloodline, the host can convert them into other bloodline points. Later, he could use those bloodline points to increase his other bloodlinesʼ levels.

ʼReally?ʼ

Ajax was pleasantly surprised as he hurriedly asked the system, ʼWhat is the conversion rate for abyssal beast god bloodline points?ʼ

If he could increase the Abyssal beast god bloodlineʼs level to level 3, then it was a major upgrade in strength for him because not only his battle prowess would be increased after activating the bloodline, but all his elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts would receive the boost.

So, Ajax thought to convert the aqua dragon bloodline points into abyssal beast god bloodline points.

Also, Ajax was very sure that the conversion rate would be a little higher because as long as there is a systemʼs involvement, there will be a price.
