New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1059: Second Dwarf Follower:- Lurmer

”Yes. As long as you swear your loyalty to my demon king, you might even become an elite general. So, just think about it.”

The demon general felt Ajax was thinking about joining the demon ranks and since Ajax is a human, they could use him to penetrate into the human worlds easily.

So, humans who would swear their loyalty to the demon kings are assets and they would be taken care of very generously.

”Sorry but I swear allegiance to no one but myself.”

ʼAbsolute darknessʼ

As soon as he finished his words, Ajax used the deadly nightmare skill on the demon general.

ʼAarghʼ

Soon, the demon general started shouting in pain as his body fell to the ground and started twitching for a couple of minutes before becoming silent.

If Ajax wanted to kill the demon general, he would have killed him in a split second with the same ʼAbsolute darknessʼ skill.

However, he just wanted to show the grey dwarves that he should not be the one to mess with.

ʼIs he dead?ʼ

ʼWhat did this human do to the demon general?ʼ

ʼWhat should we do now?ʼ

ʼIf the demon kings find out about this, they will destroy our town.ʼ

Seeing the gruesome death of the demon general, the grey dwarves were shocked to death and started thinking about the consequences.

The demon king will not slide the death of the demon general and other demons. At the same time, they didnʼt have the power to go against Ajax who could kill a demon general from a distance of more than 50 meters.

Right now, they didnʼt have the slightest clue regarding what to do.

ʼCool.ʼ

However, compared to them, Rurbeak was happy because he had finally seen the death of the demons that killed his little brother and little sister.

”Rurbeak, I donʼt think you donʼt have any family in this town, right? Go and pack your things, we are leaving this town.”

After killing the demon general, Ajax didnʼt bother about other grey dwarves as he asked Rurbeak to follow him after packing his things.

”Right away, master.”

For the first time after the death of his siblings, Rurbeak started smiling and he was in a great mood as he went to pack his things.

All the grey dwarves looked at Ajax and some of them wanted to say something to him; however, they lacked the courage to speak. So, they kept quiet.

As for Rurbeak, it didnʼt take much time for him to come back after storing all his stuff into a space ring.

”Rurbeak, how can you leave like this?”

Finally, the old town leader mustered his courage as he glanced at Ajax for a moment before shouting at Rurbeak.

”What are we going to say if the demon king sends other demon generals or elite demon generals?”

”We didnʼt think you are such a person to abandon your kin.”

”He might have a little talent in weapon refining but he is not one of us.”

”Let him go and if he stays here for another second, I will kill him with my own hands.”

”He is such an ungrateful bastard.”

”Like father, like son. Last time, his father also retorted against the demon king and nearly got us killed, and now he is going to kill us too; however, that bastard is going to escape with his new master.”

Once the town leader spoke, the rest of the grey dwarves started shouting at Rurbeak except for the middle-aged dwarf, the son of the current town leader and a father who had just lost his son.

”Shut up.”

Rurbeak just wanted to leave this town which he had so many memories with peacefully; however, all the grey dwarves made him look like a villain who had stolen all their heavens grade weapons.

Even when no one came to his support when the demon general was planning to blind and amputate him, he was not feeling anything towards the grey dwarves; however, now, they thought he was an easy target to pick on when they noticed Ajax didnʼt say anything to them.

Finally, he could not hold it any longer as he shouted at them.

”If not for me, this town would have long been destroyed by the demon king and his underlings”

”If they knew that you canʼt even refine a heaven-grade weapon, I wonder what the demons are going to do with you?”

”Since you like to talk about ”Grateful and Gratitude”, letʼs talk about them.”

”When I was working my ass-off just to refine the weapons, you were not even able to finish the refinement of the low-grade weapons which cost us the lives of my siblings.”

”I donʼt owe you guys anything. Now, I am living far from you and if you ever say anything about my parents or about me, I will kill you and you know I will do it.”

Rurbeak said in a loud voice with a face full of seriousness and that made the rest of the grey dwarves shiver in fear.

”Master, sorry for the lateness. We can leave now.”

Rurbeak turned to Ajax and the angry expression changed into a respectful one as he said to Ajax with a bow.

”Young man, wait a second.”

Ajax nodded his head and turned to leave the town to search for more demons; however, just as he turned to leave, he heard someone asking him to stop.

”Uncle Lurmer, what is it?”

Before Ajax could say anything, Rurbeak hurriedly turned back and asked the son of the current town leader.

The only one who Rurbeak felt close to was that middle-aged dwarf known as Lurmer. He feared Lurmer might do something that might anger his master. So, he asked the middle-aged dwarf.

”Can you ask your master, whether he is willing to take any more followers?”

While saying those words, Lurmer was looking at Ajax with a fearful look; however, he controlled his emotions and continued to say, ”Even though I canʼt refine heaven-grade weapons as you do, I feel like I can refine heaven-grade weapons in a couple of months.”

Actually, Lurmer wanted to show Ajax that he could be useful to Ajax; however, while saying that, Lurmer was not arrogant or confident.

It looked more like begging to Ajax and that made him think, ʼLooks like he lost something very important today and he wants to leave this town for that.ʼ

”Sigh”

Ajax looked at the fallen body of the young dwarf in Lurmerʼs hands and sighed.

Even though Heaven-grade weapons are very useful and they will be in good demand if he sells them in Zrochester province or Ylercester province, Ajax didnʼt have plans on taking more followers.

However, looking at the pitiful state of the middle-aged dwarf, Ajax decided to take him in.

ʼSince he looks a little close to Rurbeak, I think they can learn from each other.ʼ

With that thought in his mind, Ajax decided to take Lurmer as his follower.
