New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1079: [Bonus Chapter]Devourer Spirit Crane

ʼRoarʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

The turquoise crowned lion roared at the mutated spirit crane jumping at her.

ʼSwooshʼ

”Brother Lion, we both have the same bloodline. Why are you trying to kill me?”

Even though the mutated spirit crane didnʼt have great battle prowess, she is still a peak rank 6 spirit beast with a powerful bloodline.

So, she was able to escape from the lionʼs pounce.

”Brother? How dare you call me that? You are nothing but my meal. As long as I consume you, my crowned turquoise kingʼs bloodline will increase.”

ʼMane bindʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

The lion became furious when the mutated spirit crane was able to dodge its attack. So, it scoffed at the mutated spirit craneʼs previous words before using a powerful attack where the hair from the lionʼs mane extended as it binded the mutated spirit crane.

”Now, where do you think you will escape to?”

The crowned lion mocked the mutated spirit crane before pulling the mutated spirit crane towards him.

”Leave me, you bastard.”

Soon, the mutated spirit crane started her curses and just when she was pulled near enough, she used a ʼBeakstabʼ multiple times and with the help of her long neck, she was able to blind the crowned lion.

”Roarr”

ʼRrrʼ

Soon, the crowned lion roared in pain and jumped up and down.

Amidst that jumping, it released the mutated spirit crane from its mane hair.

”So, you still want to become his sister?”

Ajax slowly walked towards the mutated spirit crane and asked with a slight smile on his face.

ʼ...ʼ

The mutated spirit crane didnʼt give any reply and looked at the crowned lion with an evil look in her eyes.

The thing is she wanted to accomplish the task given to her by the crowned turquoise queen and it was to gather all those who gained her bloodline and become stronger together.

Even though Aqua dragon wants to kill her, she hoped there would be others who had the same thoughts as her; however, from the looks of it, she was wrong and it nearly cost her life.

”Damn you...little bird. I am going to eat you.”

Soon, the crowned lion stopped roaring in pain; instead, he cursed the mutated spirit crane as he used his spirit senses to trace the mutated spirit crane and rushed towards her.

”I already had enough of you.”

ʼSlashʼ

Little blue was already annoyed that Ajax was mocking her for her earlier mistake and now the crowned lion is cursing her.

Finally, she couldnʼt control her anger and with a swift slash from her wings, she cut the crowned lionʼs head.

”Since you all want to increase your bloodline by eating others with the same bloodline, then I will do the same.”

While saying those words, the mutated spirit crane started devouring the dead crowned lionʼs body.

ʼIs it a spirit crane or a devourer eagle?ʼ

The very sight of the mutated spirit crane devouring the turquoise crowned lion was an eye-opener for Ajax as he muttered, ʼMaybe it was affected by the devourer eagle kingʼs worldʼs essence of nature.ʼ

It took exactly five minutes for the mutated spirit crane to completely devour the crowned lion leaving only bones on the ground.

ʼSystem, is there any change in the bloodline purity of this silly bird?ʼ

Since all the spirit beasts that awakened the crowned turquoise queenʼs bloodline after absorbing her diluted bloodline, were trying to consume one another to increase the purity of their bloodline, Ajax wanted to know how much the mutated spirit crane had increased her bloodline purity.

ʼDing,

It increased by 3 percent and reached 95 percent.

Note:- The crowned lion had less than 50 percent purity bloodline.

ʼI guess, it is not back to increase three percent when the purity is above 90 percent. If the crowned lion had consumed the mutated spirit crane, it would have increased its bloodline purity from less than 50 percent to directly above 90 percent.ʼ

ʼNo wonder, the crowned lion didnʼt bother to listen to the mutated spirit craneʼs words.ʼ

Ajax thought to himself seeing the system notification and he was no longer surprised with why they were so adamant about consuming one another.

”If you are done eating, letʼs go.”

Ajax looked at his surroundings as he felt like someone was watching them; however, he didnʼt find anyone in their surroundings.

Nevertheless, he didnʼt want to stay here for long. So, he asked the mutated spirit crane to go with him.

”Where do you think you are going?”

All of a sudden, a group of five young men in blue-coloured formal robes appeared from various directions and surrounded them.

”Huh? It is none of your business.”

Ajax raised his brows as he looked at the five young men surrounding him and the mutated spirit crane and replied with a calm look on his face.

”Haha....human, you are very arrogant for your pitiful cultivation of level 7 general realm.”

The young man from earlier started laughing as he scoffed at Ajax.

”Senior brother, initially, I wanted to let him go away; however, he should die today.”

”Yes, junior brother.”

The young man nodded his head and continued, ”You take care of that mutated spirit crane, whereas I will have some fun with this puny human.”

”Yes, senior brother.”

The remaining four young men nodded their heads and threw a spirit net at the mutated spirit crane which instantly immobilized the spirit crane.

”Oh. You already finished capturing it? Okay then. Why donʼt you watch me while I have fun?”

As soon as the so-called senior brother finished his words, he rushed towards Ajax and along the way, his left hands turned into a blue-coloured dragon hand.

”House of dragons?”

Ajax was not worried much about the five young menʼs cultivation because everyone had the same cultivation of level 10 elite general realm.

However, there was something different about them because they were not humans and Ajax was unable to tell what they were with a glance until he saw the blue dragon hand.

Moreover, when he thought about how they immobilized the mutated spirit crane, he became even more sure.

”Huh?”

The young man who was trying to play with Ajax raised his eyebrows when he heard Ajaxʼs words and halted in his tracks before asking him. ”How do you know about us?”

”Haha”

Finally, it was Ajaxʼs turn to laugh as he stretched his body a little and started walking towards the mutated spirit crane that was immobilized in the spirit net.

ʼSwooshʼ

He summoned his inheritance sword and used it to cut the spirit net into pieces freeing the mutated spirit crane.

”If you defeat me, I will tell you.”

Ajax revealed a slight smile on his face as he replied to the senior brother of the four young men.

”Really? With your current cultivation strength?”

That young man mocked Ajax and without thinking much, he said, ”Okay then. Why donʼt you attack me, first?”

”Are you sure about it? What if I accidentally kill you?”

Ajax asked with a confused look on his face before shaking his head and said, ”Why donʼt you start attacking me, instead?”
