New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1086: Stephenʼs greediness

Previously when Ajax came back to the Purple stone from the Five elemental world, he met Edmond who promised him to take to a place where he could train.

However, at the time, Ajax was in a hurry to enter the Sacred Pool and after that, he had to start his world-destroying missions because the regular training would not increase his cultivation.

Now, he came back to destroy the assassin sect.

Basically, he didnʼt have much time to enjoy as his cultivation was still at level 7 general realm whereas his friends and associates had already entered the elite general realm and who knows what their current cultivation was.

So, he had to find more evil worlds and destroy them.

”Can it wait until I destroy the assassin sect? After destroying it, I will definitely go with you to that place where you train.”

Ajax thought only for a second before saying that he would definitely visit that place after he destroyed the assassin sect.

”Thatʼs a promise then.”

”Promise”

With a smile, Ajax nodded his head as he promised Edmond.

”Prepare all your trump cards properly for the next three days and donʼt make the fight boring.”

Captain Edmond finished his words and said goodbyes to Ajax and the guild master before going back to his residence.

While coming, he came from the cursed wilderness; however, he was going to his residence.

”Ajax, even though I liked your idea of destroying the assassin sect, the assassin sect is a mysterious one still hiding many secrets. So, you better be careful while attacking the assassin sect.”

After Captain Edmond left, the guild master warned Ajax to be careful when he started his plan.

As one of the three top sects in the Zrochester province, the assassin sect had a reason for maintaining its place and it was not an easy thing to destroy a sect that was in the place for centuries.

So, who knows how many secrets they were hiding.

”I will be careful, guild master. Thank you for your concern.”

Ajax thanked the guild master as he rushed towards the cursed wilderness again.

ʼThis kid….I hope everything goes right for him when he attacks the assassin sect.ʼ

Looking at the silhouette of Ajax, the guild master silently muttered to himself.

He sincerely hoped that Ajax would succeed in getting his revenge against the assassin sect.

The guild master and others knew about Ajaxʼs past and what happened at the Silver orphanage; however, the royal family turned a blind eye to it and there was nothing the vagrant cultivators could do.

At most, they could push the royal family and the assassin sect-like earlier when the demons invaded the Zrochester province and make them compensate Ajax.

However, the last thing that Ajax needs is compensation because he had his own way of getting top-notch resources from the powerful master. So, why would he take the compensation from the assassin sect and the royal family?

ʼI will go to Gaimontʼs territory and check how the production of the battle beasts was going on. Also, itʼs been a while since I checked on Darbaudr and others.ʼ

The reason why Ajax planned the attack on the assassin sect in three days was that he wanted to spend some time in Gaimontʼs territory and check how it was doing.

In the Zrochester province, what Ajax was truly interested in was the depths of the Cursed Wilderness.

ʼWhat is inside the depths of the Cursed wilderness?ʼ

ʼWhy is the essence of nature pure as they move towards the depths of the forest?ʼ

ʼIs there some kind of treasure?ʼ

Questions like these were common in the minds of everyone in the Zrochester province and Ajax was no exception.

Moreover, in Gaimontʼs territory, AJax was looking forward to seeing the battle beasts.

ʼJudging by the number of days I was away from that place, I think, more than 50 battle beasts must have been created, right?ʼ

When he thought about the battle beasts, Ajax increased his speed as he could not wait to see them.

.....

In the royal palace,

”I want to go back now. If you move aside, I will open the portal to the ʼHouse of dragonsʼ myself.”

In the royal palace, the old man from the ʼHouse of dragonsʼ looked at King Stephen and seriously asked him to move aside.

”I donʼt care whether your army is alive or dead and I will even move aside if you give me the remaining payment as you promised?”

Stephen King was waiting for a moment like this for a while now.

Currently, the old man was pale and weak. With a look, King Stephen could tell that the old man was severely injured.

And he could also guess that the mission they came for must have gone wrong. So, King Stephen was adamant about getting his remaining payment.

”I am asking you one final time. If you are not going to move aside, the Zrochester province will be having a new king tomorrow.”

The old man was already frustrated with the mission in which the ʼHouse of dragonsʼ suffered a lot of losses and while he was barely keeping his life intact to rush back to his house to inform something important to his master, he was stopped by King Stephen who was asking for the remaining payment at a time like this.

So, of course, he was seething with anger and wanted to kill King Stephen with his bare hands; however, he was controlling his anger as he knew he could not win unless he sacrificed his life to kill King Stephen.

”Here, take these.”

Soon, the old man took out five colourful stones and threw them at King Stephen who caught them all without making them fall onto the ground..

”This payment is just right for our agreed amount. Then what about the payment for angering me?”

King Stephen silently stored the colourful cultivatorʼs stones in his space ring and while releasing his cultivation pressure, he asked the old man.

ʼIdiot...what are you trying to do? Donʼt anger him much. It is not nice for us to become enemies with the ʼHouse of dragonsʼ.ʼ

King Stephenʼs master scolded him and asked him what he was doing by angering the old man from the ʼHouse of dragonsʼ.

ʼMaster, I am having the fun. So, please donʼt disturb me.ʼ

King Stephen asked his master to stop talking as he placed his hand on the old manʼs shoulder before asking, ”If you give me five more cultivatorʼs stones, I will go back to your so-called ʼHouse of dragonsʼ.”

”Damn you, fool. You are so greedy.”

Finally, the old man could not take it anymore as he cursed King Stephen and using all his remaining energy, he jumped onto King Stephen.

King Stephen didnʼt expect such a common move from the old man. Moreover, the old man was so fast that before he could react, the old man tapped a few acupoints making his limbs go numb and started choking him.

ʼMaster, help me.ʼ

Without a choice, King Stephen could only ask the help from his master.
