New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 571 - Ghost Trap

ʼThis battle tower is more powerful than I thought,ʼ

While looking at the holographic screen in front of him, Ajax was excited inside his heart thinking about how powerful his summons would become in the future.

ʼI should use it more and more from now on,ʼ

When the Battle tower was unlocked by the system, he didnʼt think much; however, after sending his summons into the battle tower, he understood it was very powerful and wanted to use it to its fullest.

ʼIf Ghost win three more times, I think it will be ascended to the second layer of the battle tower,ʼ

He was very much looking forward to the next three wins of the ghost fox as he was very confident that the ghost fox would be ascended to the second layer of the battle tower.

Inside the battle tower,

As usual, after Ajax agreed to the next challenge, it was teleported to a door which was familiar to Ajax.

ʼCreakʼ

Similar to the other halls, the ghost fox entered the hall in a relaxing manner.

Inside the hall, it was completely filled with water and there were some flat stones floating on the water.

ʼMonstrous brown lizardʼ

As soon as he saw the inside environment of the hall, Ajax recognized it because this hall was already challenged by Cerauno and won by him in a single attack.

ʼLetʼs see in how many attacks will Ghost defeat it,ʼ

Ajax wanted to compare who was the strongest one between Cerauno and the ghost fox and curiously watched the fight.

ʼRoarʼ

Just like last time, the monstrous brown lizard was crawling on the ceiling and looked at the ghost fox with saliva dripping from its mouth.

ʼSwoshʼ

All of a sudden, the crawling brown lizard on the ceiling of the hall stopped in its tracks.

ʼSplashʼ

After two minutes, the brown lizard fell into the water with a splash.

ʼRumbleʼ

As soon as the brown lizard fell into the water, the hall became completely silent.

Outside the battle tower,

ʼDing,

Congratulations to the hostʼs contracted spirit beast for successfully defeating the ʼMonstrous Brwon Lizardʼ.

ʼDing,

Since the spirit beast already received a special reward in its first challenge, there will be no additional rewards for it.

ʼDing,

Do you want your contracted spirit beast to proceed to another hall?

As Ajax was still watching the holographic screen, he received a series of system notifications which made me surprised.

ʼIs it over already?ʼ

Earlier, Cerauno waited till the brown lizard jumped at him; however, the ghost fox didnʼt even move from its position and even the brown lizard also didnʼt move for a while before falling into the water.

To put it in more simple words, Ajax didnʼt even know what had happened in the hall but from the system notifications in his head, he was clear that the ghost fox had completed this hall.

ʼSystem, before that, what just happened in the battle tower?ʼ

He wanted to know what kind of skill that his ghost fox had used against the monstrous brown lizard.

ʼDing,

Pay 1000….

ʼJust say it already and take the required essence of nature,ʼ

At this moment, he was not worried about the essence of nature in his spirit consciousness and all he wanted to know was what was the skill that his ghost fox had used to kill the brown lizard in a single invisible attack.

Thatʼs right!

The attack was completely invisible to Ajax. So, that was the reason he didnʼt bother with the systemʼs extortion.

ʼDing,

1000 units of the essence of nature were deducted from the hostʼs spirit consciousness.,

ʼDing,

The ghost fox has used a special skill ʼGhost trapʼ

ʼDing,

Skill name:- Ghost trap

Effects:- The opponents with the weak spirit or less spirit consciousness capacity will be fallen into a hallucination and the moment they die in their hallucination, they will die for real.

Skill description:- The skill is very specific to the ghost type beings and this is the basic skill which has various evolution routes.

As soon as he gave permission to the system to take his essence of nature, he received another series of system notifications and what piqued his interest was, of course, the last system notification.

ʼGhost trap? And this skill even evolves?ʼ

Ajax was pleasantly surprised with the third system notification as he read the effects of the ʼGhost trapʼ a couple of times.

ʼAs long as the ghost foxʼs spirit consciousness is strong, then no one will be its match,ʼ

Soon, Ajax got an idea to focus on the ghost foxʼs spirit consciousness and increase it to as high as possible.

”Anyway, itʼs time for another hall,”

Ajax gave permission to the system to teleport the ghost fox to another hall which was also a familiar one for Ajax.

ʼMagical hall?ʼ

From the look of the hall door, Ajax could say it was the magical hall which was guarded by the 10000 fire trolls and when the participant kills all the 10000 fire trolls, the hallʼs wall would collapse for around 5 minutes.

ʼOnly if the participant can still surviving after the wall collapse, it is considered as a win for the participant,ʼ

Ajax recalled about the magical hall which was successfully completed by the destructive twilight dragon.

ʼIt is a little difficult for Ghost; however, since he still has a calm look on his face, I hope he will successfully clear this hall and reach one step closer to the ascend to the second layer,ʼ

For some reason, the ghost foxʼs behaviour had changed after coming back from the five elemental world and it always maintained the calm look on his face.

ʼSwooshʼ

As soon as a new challenger entered into their hall, all the fire trolls that were lurking on the surface became serious and surrounded the ghost fox.

Within no time, the ghost fox was surrounded by around 1000 fire trolls; however, they didnʼt attack the ghost fox and carefully observed it.

ʼWow-wow-wowʼ
