New Age Of Summoners

565 Fire Trolls

********

In the earlier notification, the system only said that he had received a special reward that was specific only to him; however, it didnʼt give any information on the reward.

ʼDing,

Cerauno gained a lightning comprehension orb.

The system sent the notification to Ajaxʼs head and revealed Ceraunoʼs special reward.

”Cool”

When he saw that, Ajax thought it was cool.

Although the comprehension in a special element might not be helpful very much other than increasing that specific lightning attacks in the lower cultivation realms, it was very useful in the higher realm.

Without the comprehension in their respective element, then it was almost impossible for a cultivator or spirit beast to break through to the king realm and they would be stuck at the demi-king realm.

ʼAlthough I donʼt know what level of comprehension is required to break through to the King realm, it is still useful for Cerauno as he will be one step ahead compared to other elemental spirits,ʼ

When he listened to Elder Boronʼ lessons, Ajax didnʼt understand them quite well at that time; however, all of those lessons were making sense for him now as he slowly used those lessons for him and his summonsʼ progress in their cultivation.

Nevertheless, he was not sure about what level of comprehension was needed to reach the King realm.

”Letʼs see, how is his next hall guardian,”

Soon, he focused on his holographic screen and watched Cerauno.

Ajax wanted to know how many halls were present in the first layer or level 1 of the battle tower and who were their guardians. So, he was excited to see the next hall guardian.

ʼCreakʼ

Soon, Cerauno opened the huge door.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼKachaʼ

As soon as he entered the hall, many sharp needles pierced in Ceraunoʼs entire body and before he could see the hall guardian, he fell to the ground with a ʼThudʼ.

ʼWoah. What is it?ʼ

For some reason, Cerauno appeared in front of Ajax and both of them repeated the same line.

They didnʼt see who the hall guardian was; however, they were sure about one thing. It was powerful. Very powerful.

”Cerauno, you did well in your first hall even when you are having an element-disadvantage with the monstrous brown lizard,”

Nevertheless, Ajax suppressed his shock from the last hall guardianʼs attack and tried to encourage Cerauno because it was his duty to console and encourage this summons when they were down.

”Thanks, master. I gained a lightning comprehension orb and when I go into the battle tower next time, I will definitely kill that hall guardian,”

Cerauno was a little bit annoyed at being defeated in an unknown opponentʼs hands and swore to kill the hall guardian the next time he entered the battle tower.

While saying that, Ajax sent Cerauno into the mini thunder pool in the inner world.

Compared to Cerauno, Bano was a little better because he didnʼt feel dejected when he lost; instead, he directly went to his poison elemental paradise to cultivate.

”Now, itʼs Twilightʼs turn,”

Ajax was really looking forward to Twilightʼs fight in the battle tower.

ʼTwilight, I hope, you will win at least one hall guardian in the battle tower,ʼ

Since he couldnʼt communicate with his summons once they entered the battle tower, Ajax directly said to the destructive dragon when it was still in his inner world.

ʼRoarʼ

Twilight, in reply, roared back at Ajaxʼs spirit consciousness form in the inner world as though it was angry that he didnʼt have confidence in it.

”I know you are powerful but you still need to be careful; otherwise, you will not get any rewards. Do you understand? REWARDS,”

Among all his summons, the twilight destructive dragon was greedy because dragons, by nature, were greedy. So, Ajax emphasized on the word ʼRewardsʼ in order to get its attention.

ʼROARʼ

As soon as it heard Ajaxʼs words, the dragon roared in a loud voice that made the entire inner world shake and all the summons in the inner world were annoyed at the roar because it was quite disturbing for them.

Nevertheless, they didnʼt say anything as they were already got accustomed to its roars every now and then.

”Good. Thatʼs the spirit. Now go and show your full power to me,”

Just from the roar alone, Ajax got goosebumps and he knew how excited the destructive dragon was. So, he sent it into the battle tower before his spirit consciousness form disappeared from the inner world.

”My expectations are destroyed by some powerful hall guardian earlier. I hope nothing like that happens ever again; otherwise, I might die out of curiosity,”

Ajax jokingly muttered to himself as he watched the holographic screen.

Inside the battle tower,

ʼRoarʼ

With a roar, Twilight opened the huge doors of the hall before entering the hall.

The hallʼs interior looked just like a hall that was guarded by the Hell Cerberus, which was completely filled with lava and black rocks.

Unlike other halls, this hall didnʼt have a single guardian but multiple guardians.

Thatʼs right! There were many similar-looking beings inside this fire-type hall.

ʼHuh? A fire troll?ʼ

Without the help of the system, Ajax was able to recognize the similar-looking beings in the hall.

They were called Fire trolls. They were one of the humanoid races that like to live in places with high temperatures. With flames on their hands, legs and hair, long nose, sharp nails.

However, their height is only 1.5 meters and in front of Twilight, they looked very small.

ʼDragon clawʼ

While Ajax was observing the fire trolls, Twilight didnʼt waste any time before using its dragon claw to wipe hundreds of fire trolls in a single attack.

ʼHuh? What is that?ʼ

As soon as the Twilight destructive dragon started attacking the fire trolls, Ajax noticed something on the wall opposite to the huge door from which Twilight had entered and raised his brows.
