My Apocalypse System Arrives 10 Years Early

Chapter 310: Chapter 222: Breath Transfer, 800-Jin Bluefin Tuna King

Luo Feifei dove underwater. Without any discernible movement, she shot forward with a gentle flick, pulling Li Xiang along in a silky-smooth glide.

Their speed was at least fifty or sixty meters per second.

Ordinary people needed flippers to dive, and oxygen tanks for greater depths, but Luo Feifei needed none of it.

Her form was graceful, more agile than any fish. Even at fifty or sixty meters per second, her movements didn’t seem rushed. Instead, she exuded a sense of effortless ease, like a leisurely stroll. It was obvious she wasn’t using her full strength.

After all, they were just playing and frolicking underwater, not fleeing for their lives or rushing to a destination.

At first, Li Xiang tried to use his Wave-Treading Technique to manipulate the undercurrents and propel himself. But he soon discovered the currents couldn’t even keep up with Luo Feifei. So, he simply relaxed and enjoyed the feeling of being carried along for the ride.

Hitching a ride like this was really comfortable. On land, he was always the one ”carrying” others; now it was finally his turn to enjoy it.

Luo Feifei occasionally glanced back at Li Xiang, thinking to herself, ’Brother Xiang can hold his breath for this long? It’s already been about twenty minutes.’

After about thirty-odd minutes, Li Xiang gently tapped Luo Feifei and pointed toward the surface, signaling that he couldn’t hold his breath any longer and needed to go up for air.

They were at least a hundred meters from the surface now, and it would take some time to ascend.

Luo Feifei’s eyes lit up. She then swam closer. Li Xiang thought she was going to use some Divine Technique to let him breathe underwater like her, or perhaps create an air bubble for him. To his surprise, she swam over, hugged him, and pressed her lips against his.

Li Xiang tried to pull away, but he suddenly realized he was no match for Luo Feifei underwater.

It felt as if she had mobilized the surrounding water to press in on him. The pressure was immense, making him feel as though he were trapped in Quicksand. His movements became Slow and he couldn’t muster any strength.

And so, Luo Feifei got her way.

They kissed.

And she transferred a large amount of oxygen to him, carrying with it her unique fragrance.

Li Xiang’s eyes widened. ’This is your solution?’

’Is this befitting the status of a Water Attribute Extraordinary Being? So... simple and direct.’

Li Xiang felt he had enough oxygen to last another half hour, but Luo Feifei continued to transfer air to him without stopping. Her eyes were closed, so she couldn’t see him trying to signal her.

A full twenty minutes passed before Luo Feifei finally stopped. She opened her eyes and looked at Li Xiang, her shyness mixed with a hint of triumph.

This was her first kiss. She was still young and had never filmed a kissing scene, real or fake. She had never experienced anything like this before.

With this small wish fulfilled, her heart was filled with immense joy.

With such a stunning beauty acting this way with him underwater, how could Li Xiang possibly resist? He felt a stirring within him. If Luo Feifei were to make another move...

Fortunately, since it was Luo Feifei’s first time, she went no further. Her face was flushed so red underwater that it seemed to tint the surrounding sea.

She didn’t dare look at Li Xiang again. Taking his hand, she continued to swim. After that exchange of air, her movements became even more cheerful, playful, and fluid. It wasn’t swimming; it was as if a water sprite were dancing.

There were all sorts of fish in the sea, but none could outswim Luo Feifei.

Li Xiang had the Night Vision Superpower, so the darkness of the sea was no obstacle for him. Luo Feifei, on the other hand, had the Insight Superpower. And with the ocean as her home turf, her Insight Superpower likely had a much wider range. The two of them swam on, freely admiring the beautiful scenery of the seabed.

Li Xiang would occasionally steal a few glances at Luo Feifei’s mermaid-like figure—another beautiful sight to behold.

After that intimate moment, the two of them felt much closer.

Although their relationship had been good before, there had always been a sense of boundaries. Now, things felt completely natural.

Because just now, those boundaries had overlapped for a full twenty minutes.

About a few hundred meters away, a bluefin tuna appeared. It was over three meters long and weighed at least four hundred kilograms. Li Xiang quickly tugged on Luo Feifei’s hand and pointed toward the tuna.

Luo Feifei made an ”OK” sign with her hand and, with Li Xiang in tow, shot off like an arrow.

The bluefin tuna was very alert. It sensed danger from a great distance, turned tail, and fled. Luo Feifei gave chase, pulling Li Xiang along.

Li Xiang had chased bluefin tuna before, but the fish were too fast for him to catch. Now, with Luo Feifei, it was a piece of cake.

No matter how the bluefin tuna twisted and turned, the distance between them visibly shrank. When they were about a hundred meters away, a miraculous scene unfolded.

The tuna’s movements grew sluggish, and finally, it stopped fleeing altogether.

Had it exhausted itself? No.

It had only been a short while.

It was trapped!

Li Xiang realized what was happening. It wasn’t that the bluefin tuna had stopped running; it was likely that, just like him earlier, it had been pinned down by the surrounding seawater manipulated by Luo Feifei.

’I have a hundred thousand jin of Giant Power, but I still couldn’t move when Luo Feifei ”pinned” me. What chance does a four-hundred-kilogram tuna have?’

’Luo Feifei’s abilities underwater are incredible,’ Li Xiang mused. She was controlling the seawater within a diameter of at least one hundred meters. He didn’t know the exact range.

But if you calculated it based on a radius of fifty meters, the volume of that sphere would be 523,000 cubic meters. And since the density of seawater is slightly higher than pure water, that meant she was commanding over five hundred thousand tons of water.

And that was just Li Xiang’s conservative estimate; the actual amount could be even greater.

Considering that, it was perfectly logical that his mere hundred thousand jin of Giant Power was no match for Luo Feifei in the ocean.
