My Apocalypse System Arrives 10 Years Early

Chapter 303: Chapter 219: Indian Bro: I Told You He’s Our Indian Superhero, and You Wouldn’t Believe Me

Li Xiang also saw the ”long-renowned” Ganges River. On its banks, he saw many monkeys and then witnessed a great battle between the monkeys and stray dogs.

The pack of stray dogs was not small, numbering at least fifty or sixty. Unfortunately, they were no match for the several hundred monkeys. Before long, the dogs fled in disarray, with the monkeys in hot pursuit.

The stray dogs fled into a small town, likely hoping for human help. But the monkeys showed no fear, charging directly into the town and pillaging everything in sight.

One monkey saw a woman holding an infant, rushed over, and snatched the baby away. It dragged the infant along the ground by its leg. The woman was frantic with rage and panic. Her husband hurried over, brandishing a club, and managed to snatch the baby back.

The infant was, of course, severely injured, and it was uncertain if it would survive. The monkey, meanwhile, was beaten bloody by the furious father and fled, screeching.

But a moment later, it returned with a vengeance, bringing more monkeys to besiege the man.

’So the monkeys in India are this vicious too?’ Li Xiang thought.

’These must be macaques; they look like them. There’s a Six-Eared Macaque in *Journey to the West*. One theory is that he was the personification of Sun Wukong’s malevolent thoughts.’

’The monkeys on Mount Emei are also macaques. They often steal things and attack tourists; they’re incredibly mischievous.’

In China, macaques are naturally protected animals, so no one dares to provoke them. But that’s not the case in India. India is overrun with monkeys, and these macaques are innumerable and commit all sorts of evil. However, even though they aren’t protected animals in India, the government doesn’t dare to order a cull.

This is because India has a deity named Hanuman, the Monkey God. Culling monkeys would incite the fury of his followers, leading to a series of destabilizing consequences.

Furthermore, there are simply too many monkeys in India. According to official statistics, the monkey population exceeds 50 million. It would be impossible to kill them all, and doing so would consume enormous financial and material resources.

Besides, a simple cull is not a long-term solution. Therefore, some have suggested castrating the monkeys to strip them of their reproductive ability, thereby effectively controlling their numbers.

Unfortunately, only the Monkey King in a troop has breeding rights. Relying solely on castration to control the population is not very effective.

Then, and most importantly, these monkeys are quite intelligent, with an IQ equivalent to a six or seven-year-old child. They hold grudges and will retaliate against the staff involved in the castration procedures.

Just imagine: you castrate a monkey, and then hundreds of them come to harass and attack your home every day. Who could withstand that? Families with elderly members or children would be even more terrified.

As a result, not many people are willing to do the job.

Li Xiang, of course, was not afraid of these monkeys. He casually picked up a few small stones. WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH~ With his Giant Power of one hundred thousand jin, using just twenty to thirty percent of his Power was enough to far surpass the so-called pinnacle of the Finger Snap Divine Technique. Even if Huang the Evil and Yang Guo were present, they would be stunned speechless.

His aim was perfect. A single stone was enough to shatter a monkey’s skull.

The Monkey King was enraged and led the remaining monkeys in a charge against Li Xiang.

”Oh? Not afraid to die, are we?” Li Xiang actually laughed. With a flip of his hand, the new Big Saber, weighing over three hundred kilograms, appeared. He executed a set of the Gale Blade Technique, taking the opportunity to practice his Big Saber Martial Arts.

Like Lord Guan descending to the mortal realm, monkey blood splattered wherever his blade passed. The monkeys’ bodies fell like leaves in the wind, and in an instant, the ground was covered with them.

Like an autumn wind sweeping away fallen leaves, Li Xiang’s Blade Technique was full of wide, sweeping motions. The remaining dozens of monkeys were terrified, screeching as they fled.

Some people knelt and bowed to Li Xiang, thanking him, thinking he was a Celestial God who had descended. Others, however, pointed at him angrily, cursing him. They seemed to be saying he shouldn’t have killed the monkeys. In any case, Li Xiang couldn’t understand them; he was just guessing based on their expressions.

’Are these people insane? I helped them kill the monkeys, and they’re pointing and cursing at me?’

Li Xiang wasn’t about to put up with them. He put away his Big Saber and took out another Extraordinary Spiritual Soldier, the Vine Whip. He lashed out at the Indians who were cursing him. In an instant, more than ten human-shaped ice sculptures appeared in the small town.

After that, no one dared to curse him again.

Moreover, the local Indians were utterly horrified to see Li Xiang use Creation Out of Thin Air, switch weapons at will, and even freeze people in ice. He was just like a god, and they didn’t dare to offend him any further.

The people who cursed him were just mortals, so Li Xiang didn’t kill them. He merely controlled his strength and gave them a small punishment. With a flash, his figure vanished.

The remaining people all knelt and bowed. Some prostrated themselves completely, murmuring prayers with the utmost piety.

Some people went over to break the ice and rescue those who had been frozen. They might have been frozen for a bit too long, as they had all passed out from suffocation. Whether they would recover or if their brains were damaged was something Li Xiang couldn’t be bothered to care about.

As for frostbite, that was a minor issue in comparison.

But Li Xiang had held back and controlled his strength. If he had unleashed his full Power, he could have shattered them into ice dust on the spot, with nothing left to piece back together.

This was partly because the Extraordinary Spirit Whip was so powerful, and partly because Li Xiang’s Spiritual Power was immense and unparalleled.

Soon, this incident sparked a heated debate across India.

Meanwhile, the video of Li Xiang kicking the Leopard hundreds of meters away to rescue the little girl in that small village had also gone viral, attracting a great deal of attention.

Someone said excitedly, ”That’s the mysterious Black Armored Man! Haha, I told you he was our Indian superhero, and you didn’t believe me! See? He’s appeared right here in India. Not only did he save that little girl, but he also slaughtered hundreds of wild monkeys and solved the town’s problem!”
