The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2670: Chapter 2670: Asking for a Beating (6)

”I was the one who hit him,” Zhou Xiao didn’t deny it, ”because Cui Men was being a jerk and deserved it.”

”Oh, really?” Yang Ruxin raised her eyebrows slightly, ”Then you should at least explain how he was being a jerk, otherwise it would just be starting trouble for no reason.”

”Let me explain,” Sanni looked at Cui Hou, ”because we saw someone familiar at his house, but she didn’t admit it, so we didn’t say anything. But...” she sneered, ”Cui Hou, was it you who brought Xiaobao to play? In the end, Xiaobao was almost pushed into the water by your good sister. You didn’t see the situation at the time, just saw me tackle her. She cried, and then your brother wanted to hit me. So, why couldn’t Dabao hit him? If I had made a move, he wouldn’t have been able to get out of bed for three days.”

”What do you mean by ’almost pushed into the water’?” Yang Ruxin’s tone turned cold, ”Little Yingying, come here.”

Zhou Ying obediently ran over to Yang Ruxin.

Yang Ruxin quickly checked her pulse, and seeing she was okay, finally relaxed.

”Big sister, I’m fine. At the time, I felt someone was approaching, but as soon as I turned around, third sister tackled them. Thank you, third sister,” Zhou Ying said, showing a set of little white teeth.

”It’s good you’re okay.” Yang Ruxin patted her head, then looked at Cui Hou, ”I trust my sisters; they’re not liars.”

”But...”

”Let’s go, I’ll go with you to the Duke Residence. Since someone got hurt, we’ll acknowledge it. But, whether Mengmeng is lying, I’ll personally verify with your sister. How about that?” Yang Ruxin said as she stood up.

Cui Hou frowned, ”I didn’t intend to pursue this. After all, kids fighting is quite normal.”

”No, now I’m the one who wants to pursue it.” Yang Ruxin subtly smirked, ”My sister went to your house to play, and she nearly lost her life. I won’t just let this go.”

Cui Hou was a bit dumbfounded, the ones who got hit were his brother and Cui Fangfang, how did it become them who won’t let it go? But knowing there’s no avoiding it, he hurried to his feet.

Zhou Xiao and Sanni followed along.

Ning Garden.

Cui Fangfang was in a state of extreme panic, regretting why she let jealousy cloud her mind and why she pushed that vile Zhou Ying? Although no one saw it, she knew Yang Ruxin was fiercely protective; if she got angry, what would happen to herself?

These days, she obediently stayed in her courtyard, even avoiding palace banquets, just to steer clear of Yang Ruxin. But...

Just then, a little maid came calling, saying the madam wanted the little miss to go to Ning Garden.

Cui Fangfang’s heart sank, feeling uneasy.

Yet the maid kept urging her to hurry, leaving her with no choice but to bravely get up.

In Ning Garden, Yang Ruxin paid respects to the old madam, then got straight to the point: ”Cui Hou said my sister injured your fourth young master. I have to step forward.” Saying this, she handed over a white porcelain bottle, ”This is an antiseptic medicine uniquely formulated by my mentor Dao Xuzi. It’s ten times more effective than the antiseptic medicine available in the market. Consider it my compensation.”

”Xinxin, kids fighting is perfectly normal, it’s just a bruised eye, no need for such a valuable item,” the old madam waved her hand, ”Our family isn’t unreasonable, you really don’t have to.” Dao Xuzi’s medicine is something everyone desires; its value is immeasurable.”
