The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1650: Listen to You (1)

Feng Caie was somewhat intimidated by this eldest son now, so after hearing what her son said, she hurriedly nodded and then went into the kitchen.

Previously, Yang Rusong didnʼt care about anything, but somehow, he had become much more composed, and he no longer ignored the matters of the family. He also didnʼt just listen to whatever she said anymore.

For example, when he previously failed the scholar examination, he had also been dispirited. At that time, her idea was that it didnʼt matter if he didnʼt pass this time, he should just continue studying and keep taking the exams.

But Yang Rusong was only down for a day, and then the next day he stated he would definitely continue reviewing, but he wouldnʼt just stay at home reading and doing nothing else. Instead, he would go to the school Yang Ruxin established to be a teacher.

Because of this, she had cried, made a scene, and even threatened her son, but no matter how much she caused a fuss, her son would just look at her coldly, and then he would beat Yang Ruban and Yang Ruohuai until those two boys howled, their buttocks swollen painfully for days, having to sleep on their stomachs.

Even her eldest son told her that if she continued to be unreasonable like before, taking advantage whenever she could, talking about others, then he would sever his ties with this family, and at that time, he wouldnʼt care at all about her well-being.

He even said that the reason Yang Ruyu got into trouble was because she had misled him. Now, he was unaware of whether he was dead or alive, and if those two younger brothers continued on this path, their end wouldnʼt be any better than Yang Ruyuʼs.

Initially, Feng Caie was confused; she felt she wasnʼt wrong. Didnʼt her son just want things to go his way? She also wanted to throw a tantrum like Yang Anshi, but Yang Rusong just sneered, ”Do you think Grandmaʼs current situation is good?”

Feng Caie frowned, not good? Anyway, she was still somewhat intimidated by that old lady.

”Even though a son shouldnʼt speak ill of his mother, the way Grandpa and Grandma acted before was indeed wrong. Favoritism only makes some people insolent and others feel repressed, and once these things accumulate to a certain extent, it will explode, just like with big cousinʼs family... And now, theyʼve left this family and are doing well, whereas this family...has fallen apart...” Yang Rusong sighed, ”Mother, a harmonious family prospers. We are all one family, so why must we step on one to manipulate another? Who is more noble? Who is inferior?”

Feng Caie was a bit stunned, seeming to understand a bit, but still felt somewhat unwilling.

”Mother, I am your son. If I am well, you can be well too. But for me to be well, all of our family members need to be well; otherwise, I wonʼt have the heart to do anything.” Yang Rusong smiled slightly, ”Iʼve said what needs to be said. If you still want to continue like this, then you should really be prepared to lose your eldest son.” After a pause, ”Even big sister could make it on her own; I, as a grown man, can do the same...”

”Son, I will listen to you.” Feng Caie hurriedly grabbed her sonʼs hand, ”From now on, Iʼll listen to you. You are the eldest son; this family will be yours to manage in the future.” Yang Baichuan, that man, was already a wreck, the eldest daughter was still missing, and the two younger sons… even her father said those two were crooked and needed a lot of effort to straighten out. So, she could only rely on her eldest son.

And now her eldest son is a scholar, and maybe in the future, he might become a successful candidate in the examinations. Even if he doesnʼt pass, the status of a scholar allows him to teach, which could earn him one or two silver coins a month.
