The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 265: Chapter 265: I Am Your Grandma Yang (Five Updates)_1

The people from the Yang Family and the Gu Family at the back of the village had all already risen early, originally it was Xiaofeng who was going to practice martial arts with Gu Yao, but Sanni and Sini also followed, and ultimately Yang Ruxin just let Gu Yao simply come over to their yard every day, to teach everyone together, saying it would be good for them all to learn some self-defense.

Gu Yao had no objections, after all, they were all family.

Since everyone was starting from scratch, Gu Yao wasn’t too strict on the first day, he just required everyone to hold the horse stance for an hour before ending the session.

The Yang siblings, with no martial arts foundation whatsoever, really suffered, the horse stance made everyone’s legs tremble as they stood.

”If you want to practice martial arts, you must persevere. It’s perfectly normal for your legs to hurt now, it will hurt even more later, but you still need to go about your usual activities, otherwise, there will be no effect,” Gu Yao explained.

As soon as the youngsters heard this, they immediately stood up and, with trembling legs, began to wash up, clean, and help Yang Ruxin make breakfast.

Only then did Gu Yao feel satisfied, and he returned to his own home.

In the courtyard, Gu Qingheng’s hand was holding a pebble, throwing them one by one toward a wall roughly seven or eight meters away, the pebbles embedding neatly into the wall as if guided by eyes, forming a perfectly straight line.

The corner of Gu Yao’s mouth curved up as he suddenly kicked a pebble off the ground, shooting it straight toward Gu Qingheng’s face.

Gu Qingheng frowned and threw the pebble in his hand, and with a ’pop’ sound, the two stones met in mid-air and instantly turned into powder...

”Big brother, your skill has recovered by eighty percent,” Gu Yao ran over excitedly. These last two years, his brother had been in a state of dejection, because of his crippled leg, and therefore, his martial skills had also been neglected. Now that his brother was willing to make an effort, he was incredibly happy.

Gu Qingheng also nodded with satisfaction. The True Qi inside his body was now flowing smoothly, and although invisible, he found that his hearing and senses were several times more acute than before, so his mood was rather good. He felt fortunate that he hadn’t impulsively ruined his own martial skills in a fit of rage back then, otherwise he probably would be filled with regret now.

Just then, a knock on the door could be heard from outside.

Gu Yao gave Gu Qingheng a glance and then turned to open the door of the courtyard, but when he clearly saw who was outside, he was visibly stunned.

”Gu Er, isn’t it?” Yang Anshi sized up Gu Yao, thinking to herself that he indeed had good looks. Although his family owned no land, he was a hunter and now had silver in his hands. Yang Dani, that wretched girl, was certainly getting a bargain, ”Don’t recognize me? I’m your Yang Granny.”

Gu Yao’s eyebrows slightly raised, ”Is there something I can help with?” He really had no fondness for this old woman who had effectively insulted everyone around the neighboring villages, calling herself Yang Granny with such audacity.

”You child, how can you be so rude?” Feng Caie rushed forward, ”We’ve come for your sake, hurry up, lead us inside, serve us some good tea and refreshments, and call out your mother...” as she said this, she latched onto Gu Yao and squeezed directly into the yard, but upon seeing Gu Qingheng in the wheelchair, she scornfully curled her lip.

Gu Yao was speechless, if not for the fact that the other party was an elder and a woman, he really wanted to throw her out.

At first, Yang Anshi felt somewhat regretful, but when she saw Gu Qingheng in the yard, she thought that the Gu Family had a burden, and anyone who married in would be weighed down, so she felt there wasn’t much to regret after all.
