Chapter 1453: Chapter 1452 Qing Jiao Special Forces vs Bai Xiang Special Forces!

These five matches were conducted simultaneously.

However, they took place on different arenas.

Lin Dong, naturally, watched their own group’s match so he could assess the strength of their opponents.

At the moment, on Ordinary Arena number two of the second category, Nephrite Nation’s Regular Special Operations Team ”Bai Xiang Special Forces” all had stepped onto the stage.

They were all ready.

Similarly, facing them was Dragon Country’s Regular Special Operations Team, Qing Jiao Special Forces, ranked third last year, who also had all stepped onto the stage.

Each side had one hundred people.

Each arena was manned by three hosts.

Currently, these three hosts stood in the middle of the stage, with one of them saying, ”Next the match officially starts.”

”The match rules consist of each side competing in three small games, which are individual combat strength, 10-person small team combat strength, and 100-person large team combat strength.”

”The competition will be conducted under the best two out of three games rule.”

”Now begins the first game, individual combat strength!”

”Each side will send out 100 team members, for one-on-one individual combats. The score will be tallied. The side with the most points wins!”

”Now, the competition officially begins! Please have each side send out their respective contestants to fight.”

Once the host had finished speaking, a soldier stepped forward from Bai Xiang Special Forces. This soldier was the team leader of Bai Xiang Special Forces.

Similarly, the Qing Jiao Special Forces’ team leader also stepped forward.

The reason leaders fought first was naturally to win the inaugural match and to boost the team’s morale!

Generally speaking, if a team leader could secure an inaugural victory, then the chances of the team winning would be much greater.

”Bang bang bang!”

The battle between the leaders of Qing Jiao Special Forces and Bai Xiang Special Forces quickly ensued.

The team leader of Bai Xiang Special Forces mainly used Thai Boxing as his fighting technique.

However, the leader of Qing Jiao Special Forces was using the national art. But he wasn’t really a martial artist, and his national art skills were only superficial.

In less than three minutes, the two had determined a winner!

”The first small game, the first battle, Bai Xiang Special Forces win!”

Indeed, the final result was that the leader of Bai Xiang Special Forces won the individual combat strength battle.

Seeing this, over at Qing Jiao Special Forces, everyone’s faces looked ugly. They had thought the opponent wouldn’t be weak, but they didn’t expect them to be this strong.

Their group consisted of the ”Lone Wolf Special Forces” from Xiong Country, Bai Xiang Special Forces from Nephrite Nation, their own Qing Jiao Special Forces, and the ”Flying Tiger Special Forces” from Yingjiang Country, and finally, Lin Dong-led Piranha Special Operations Team...

Out of the five special forces, only two could advance.

Qing Jiao Special Forces at that point believed that they might have an opportunity to emerge alongside Xiong Country’s ”Lone Wolf Special Forces.”

But after this first battle, their complexions became extremely ugly.

They thought that their initial optimism was perhaps too optimistic.

Even the strength of Nephrite Nation’s Bai Xiang Special Forces was so formidable. What about the more formidable Lone Wolf Special Forces and Flying Tiger Special Forces from Xiong Country and Yingjiang Country?

If they couldn’t even get past Bai Xiang Special Forces, how could they hope to defeat Lone Wolf Special Forces and Flying Tiger Special Forces?

Qing Jiao Special Forces’ team leader, limping, approached Instructor Lian Zhan and apologized with his head down, ”I’m sorry, Instructor, I lost.”

Lian Zhan’s expression was also ugly, but there was no point in blaming the team member for such things.

If one is not as skilled and is defeated in combat, what use is anger?

Lian Zhan said, ”The competition has just begun. Losing one match doesn’t mean anything. For the next ones, fight well.”

Having encouraged his team, Lian Zhan prevented morale from dropping further.

”The second match begins!”

And so, the hundred-person individual combat contest commenced.

These individual combats could be resolved quickly.

Some were practically instant kills!

The results came out in just a few seconds.

Thus, although the first small game consisted of one hundred individual matches, the actual time consumed was not long.

It took less than an hour and a half!

And finally, the result had come out.

The host announced on the spot.

”Dragon Country Qing Jiao Special Forces vs Nephrite Nation Bai Xiang Special Forces, the score for the first small game is 45:55.”

”The first small game, Nephrite Nation Bai Xiang Special Forces victorious!”

When the result of this first small game was announced, the morale of the Qing Jiao Special Forces dropped instantly.

On the other hand, the Bai Xiang Special Forces were different; their morale surged.

”Haha, the third-ranking special forces team of Dragon Country is just so-so,” the team leader of the Bai Xiang Special Forces said while laughing hysterically.

Actually, it was quite normal for the Qing Jiao Special Forces not to be able to beat them, as they were only the third-ranking team in Dragon Country.

But the Bai Xiang Special Forces, they were the best of the best chosen from all the special forces teams in Nephrite Nation.

If Dragon Country were to form a special forces team in a similar way, for instance, selecting team leaders and deputy team leaders from the 36 war zones of Dragon Country, such a team would naturally be able to crush the Bai Xiang Special Forces.

”Next, the second round of ten-person small team competition begins.”

”The competition starts, please send out the first team of ten participants for the contest!”

The second small game of the ten-person small team competition officially began, and the first game was led by their respective team leaders.

This time, the instructor Lian Zhan, to boost morale, directly picked the ten strongest individuals to make up the first game’s ten-person team.

This game, they managed to win.

Their morale had also been elevated to a certain extent.

But soon, they were hit back accordingly.

If you used up the ten strongest in your first ten-person team game, then the subsequent games would be tough.

After all, the good cards were all played.

About an hour later, the ten-person small team competition had also fully concluded.

In the end, the score was Qing Jiao Special Forces vs Bai Xiang Special Forces, with a score of 3:7.

Qing Jiao Special Forces lost again!

Having lost two out of three games, it was essentially certain that Qing Jiao Special Forces had been defeated by Bai Xiang Special Forces.

As for the third game, it hardly mattered whether it was contested or not.

But the rules of the competition required all games to be played, even if the first two games were lost, the third game had to go on.

This was because small points were in play, and in case two teams were tied, those points would determine the overall ranking.

”Hahaha, the Qing Jiao Special Forces are nothing much after all,” the team leader of Bai Xiang Special Forces became even more arrogant.

In front of everyone from the Qing Jiao Special Forces, he turned to his Bai Xiang Special Forces team and yelled loudly:

”Even though the victory or defeat of the third small game doesn’t affect our final result, still, I want you to fight fiercely.”

”Trample this Qing Jiao Special Forces completely underfoot! Shave them bald!”

”Fight, fight, fight!” The members of the Bai Xiang Special Forces team were full of high spirits, and they were ready to use this method of trampling on Qing Jiao Special Forces to boost their own morale.

Simply winning was not enough, they felt they needed to thoroughly trample them underfoot, as this would also dampen the morale of the other special forces teams from Dragon Country.

Seeing this scene, the faces of the Qing Jiao Special Forces team were incredibly ugly. Although they all were seething with frustration, their morale was genuinely low.

There was no way around it; they couldn’t win. They had failed in both of the small games they contested.

And there were also some who had been injured.

Under these circumstances, how were they to compete in the third small game?

The countenance of Instructor Lian Zhan was also exceedingly ugly.

It was at that moment that Lin Dong beckoned Lian Zhan over.

Lian Zhan was taken aback, not knowing what War God Lin would want from him at this time.

But he obediently headed over to War God Lin.

”War God Lin, what do you need from me?”

Lin Dong spoke, ”For the third game’s 100-person large group combat, arrange the troops and set up the formation according to my method.”

Lin Dong taught him a method of arranging troops called the Ancient Witch Formation. Using this method, even a weaker force could overpower a stronger one, achieving victory with fewer numbers against many.
