Chapter 1452: Chapter 1451: Day 1 of the Door-Opening Battle, a Clash of Titans!

The leader of the Yinghua Country Special Forces, Qingye Death God, led two special forces teams from Yinghua Country into the training hall.

As they passed the high platform, Qingye Death God also looked towards Lin Dong.

Then, he shrugged and laughingly said, ”War God Lin, it’s a pity, a real pity that we won’t get to face the team you lead.”

”Otherwise, I would have surely left the special combat team you lead either dead or injured!”

”I also find it regrettable that we cannot encounter you guys sooner. Otherwise, you wouldn’t even make it past the group stages,” Lin Dong said indifferently.

”Hahaha...” Qingye Death God heard this and laughed as if he had heard the funniest joke in the world.

”War God Lin, as one of the current four great active War Gods of Dragon Country, when you brag, you actually don’t even blush. I admire that.”

After saying this, Qingye Death God clenched his fist and stepped into the training hall.

In his view, the ’Yinghua Special Forces’ he led were unlikely to encounter the Piranha Special Operations Team led by Lin Dong.

But what did that matter?

As long as the Yinghua Special Forces he led could trample all the Dragon Country special teams beneath their feet.

That would be equivalent to his special forces team indirectly beating the Piranha Special Operations Team led by Lin Dong.

He had already instructed the two special forces teams he led to show no mercy as long as the opponent did not admit defeat.

The more members of the Dragon Country special teams they could destroy, the better!

”All forty martial artist special combat teams are now in place. Next, please can the regular special operation teams take their positions!”

”Thirty-six regular special operation teams of Dragon Country, please enter the training hall orderly, according to last year’s ranking.”

The host’s voice resonated once again.

This time, as the regular special operation teams entered the training hall, it wasn’t as ceremonial as when the martial artist special combat teams had entered.

Nor were these special forces teams specially introduced!

After all, there was a limited amount of time for the opening ceremony.

If they were to introduce each special forces team one by one, who knew how much time it would take.

Soon, the regular special operation teams, under the leadership of their respective instructors, orderly entered the training hall one after another.

First was the Hidden Dragon Special Combat Team led by Xiao Xingchen.

Although Xiao Xingchen was the son of the War God Hei Long of the Western Region War Zone, he was actually serving at the headquarters of the War Department of Dragon Country, and the special forces team he led was also from the headquarters’ area.

Ranked second was Qin Pojun, the son of the Eastern King, who led the Red Tiger Special Combat Team.

Ranked third was Lian Zhan, the son of the Southern King, who led the ’Qing Jiao Special Forces.’

This Qing Jiao Special Forces team also drew the third group, the death group, and ended up in the same group as Lin Dong’s Piranha Special Operations Team.

The regular special operation teams entered swiftly.

In about twenty minutes or so, all that remained were Lin Dong’s Piranha Special Operations Team and the regular special operation teams from the Jiangbei and Jiangnan War Zones.

The Jiangbei and Jiangnan War Zones were quite unfortunate. Their martial artist special combat teams had always ranked last and second to last.

It was the same with their regular special operation teams.

Their instructors, who all knew Lin Dong, looked at him somewhat awkwardly at the moment.

”War God Lin, it’s just our three special operation teams left.”

Other soldiers from the war department were also looking at Lin Dong somewhat strangely.

Now, the only War God still outside was Lin Dong.

That was a bit awkward.

Lin Dong’s mindset was still very good, and his thoughts were the same as Tang Jun’s.

The order of entering the training hall today wasn’t important because that only represented past achievements. The upcoming competition was what mattered most.

Speak with strength!

The host’s voice once again echoed at that moment.

”Next up is the regular special combat team from the Demon City Warzone, the ’Piranha Special Operations Team.’ Their instructor is none other than one of our Dragon Country’s four War Gods, the Asura War God!”

”Please welcome the Asura War God to lead the team into the training hall and take their places.”

Without a word, Lin Dong stepped forward to the very front of the Piranha Special Operations Team and led the team into the training hall.

They took their place where the Piranha Special Operations Team was supposed to stand.

Although everyone’s expressions toward him were strange, and many looked at him as if watching a joke, Lin Dong’s face remained expressionless, showing not a hint of abnormality.

That same sentiment held, over the next fifteen days, they would speak with strength!

Shut all mouths with a victory in each match!

After all the special combat teams entered, five fighting stages were activated inside.

The War God of the Nation, standing at the foremost position, loudly said, ”Today marks the opening ceremony of the War Department’s grand competition, hence the limited schedule.”

”Today, only five matches are arranged!”

”They are as follows: The Martial Arts Special Combat Team, Group Six’s Qilin Special Forces against the Black Elephant Special Forces Team.”

”Martial Arts Special Combat Team, Group One’s Zhen Country’s Special Forces versus the Python Special Warfare Team.”

”Martial Arts Special Combat Team, Group Two’s Flying Dragon Special Forces Team versus the Sea King Special Forces.”

”Regular Special Operation Team, Green Jiao Special Forces versus the Flying Tiger Special Forces Team.”

”Regular Special Operation Team, Hidden Dragon Special Combat Team versus the Black Hawk Special Warfare Team!”

Out of these five matches, three are from the Martial Arts Special Combat Teams.

Two are from the Regular Special Operation Teams.

Also, the first day’s matches are arranged for teams which are strong on paper.

Some are from the Overseas Battlefield.

Others are from Dragon Country’s Battle Area, ranked within the top ten.

Soon, all teams scheduled to compete today headed to their respective stages, ready for the upcoming matches.

Meanwhile, the remaining special combat team members and instructors stayed behind to watch.

This included Lin Dong and the Piranha Special Operations Team he led.

Tang Jun asked Lin Dong, ”Instructor, which match shall we watch?”

Lin Dong replied, ”Let’s watch the fourth match.”

The fourth match belonged to their Regular Special Operation Team, Group Three’s Death group.

The matchup was last year’s third-ranked from Dragon Country, the Qing Jiao Special Forces, against the White Elephant Special Forces from the overseas Nanyang Jade Country.

Tang Jun nodded and quickly led everyone to follow Lin Dong to the regular platform!

The platforms for this War Department’s grand competition were also divided into two types.

One type was the Martial Artist platforms. These platforms were crafted from special materials, large in size, and their floors could withstand the most powerful strikes from Sect Masters without concern of breaking.

The second type was the regular platforms. These weren’t as large as the Martial Artist platforms, but they were much bigger than a standard boxing ring.

The platform for Qing Jiao Special Forces and White Elephant Special Forces was the second platform of the second type.

At the moment, both competing special operations teams were preparing.

The match would officially start in ten minutes.

At that time, three rounds of competition would take place, testing the combat abilities of single soldiers, 10-person small units, and 100-person large units.

During the competition, no killing blows were allowed.

Of course, if the opponent refused to admit defeat, stubbornly resisting despite a clear disparity in strength, accidents could happen during the fight—those who ended up broken or even killed could only blame their misfortune.

The ten minutes passed quickly, and the first day of the grand competition, featuring five high-ranked special combat team matches of the War Department, was about to begin.
