Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

I ‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍remembered the Academy Head once telling me that within the Soul Dream State blessed upon those who embark on the Great Project of the Soul, there was no way to conduct any experiments.

Because this place was essentially a dream state constructed by the soul, with rules completely different from reality; at most, there were only simple reality rules paved by shallow cognitive inertia.

But now, I could clearly tell the Academy Head that such a statement was merely a prejudice from a realistic perspective.

At this moment, I stood on the other side of my Soul Dream State.

What stood tall here was no longer the Great Tree of Knowledge, but a giant tree sprouted from the Fool’s Dream Seed.

For the time being... let’s call it the Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment.

Although... In the end, I still did not shape it into the form I had expected.

While the scale of the current Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment could not compare to the Great Tree of Knowledge, its size was still not to be underestimated.

A grander Fool’s Village had similarly been established here by the Fool’s Dreams, because this Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment was the true origin of the Fool’s Dreams’ birth.

The Fool’s Village located on the side of the Great Tree of Knowledge was more for play and learning.

After all, within the Soul Dream State, the initial Fool’s Dreams were brought by me beneath the Great Tree of Knowledge for the purpose of play.

But the Fool’s Dreams categorized learning and playing as equally important things—or rather... the same thing.

Obtaining knowledge during play, practicing knowledge, and understanding knowledge...

Fool’s Star accompanied me to many places.

Although I could understand these places with just a thought—since this was my Soul Dream State, after all—I still tirelessly appreciated all the masterpieces of the Fool’s Dreams.

And finally... we came beneath the Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment.

Before entering the Soul Dream State, I had pinned my hopes on combining [Transcendent Knowledge] with the Fool’s Dream Seed, hoping to use this as a breakthrough to construct the Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment of my heart.

However, after my consciousness entered the Soul Dream State, even I had not predicted that in the end, [Transcendent Knowledge] did not choose to combine with the Fool’s Dream Seed of the same origin, but chose me instead.

This was clearly a Revelation.

Once the Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment decided to break free from the framework of a Grand Spellbook, it could no longer be replicated through the mode of the Great Tree of Knowledge.

It chose a clearer way, which was to pull me into the loop of the [Transcendent Knowledge]’s shaping, making me myself a part of the final product.

A Grand Spellbook itself belongs to external objects; only during the gradual attunement by the user will a Grand Spellbook eliminate its ”external” characteristic and become one of the abilities dominated by a witch.

This was a normal part of the spellbook system created by witches.

But the [Transcendent Knowledge] at this moment clearly skipped the ”external” characteristic from the very beginning.

This represented that from the moment this power was finally formed, it was a completely inseparable part of me!

And now, the relationship between this power and me appeared very subtle.

No one could give me any reference.

But if I were to say, it was more like a seed, waiting for me to irrigate it into a flower.

The current [Transcendent Knowledge] was not a tool I could wantonly dominate at this moment; it was more like a part of me that had been acknowledged.

And I needed to utilize this power to constantly push the Fool’s Dreams toward the height of becoming life.

After breaking free from so-called power anxiety, the Transcendent gradually returned to its proper essence.

Not all Transcendent powers were born to obtain greater destructive force.

Jumping out of the framework where power equals authority between lives, the Transcendent was gradually blooming into more beautiful branches.

That was the aesthetic of defining life.

Jumping out of the framework of the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell, the Soul Depiction technique became more intuitive; bestowing the Fool’s Dreams with life seemed to become within reach.

Although these ideas were all unpracticed thoughts, they were revealing a signal to me: when matters are no longer thought of as complex, then the distance to so-called success is not far.

It was like a child just entering kindergarten fearing the teacher’s spot-check on addition and subtraction within a hundred, but an adult wouldn’t necessarily feel the same.

At this moment, I stepped forward, one hand lightly pressed against the Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment.

Because of the more systematic transcription, I could clearly experience the memories blooming within it.

Compared to the ”Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment,” what was actually closer to its name right now should be the ”Fool’s Dream Origin Tree.”

After all, the former was my unfinished plan for it, while the latter was its essence.

If the growth of the Great Tree of Knowledge originated from the irrigation of a continuous stream of memories, knowledge, and Information, then the ”Fool’s Dream Origin Tree” at this moment operated on a similar principle.

However, what it gathered were the memories created by the Fool’s Dreams at every moment.

After all, it was originally the Fool’s Dreams’ Dream Picture Scroll; such was its essence.

Furthermore... As the memories of the Fool’s Dreams began to flood the knowledge within the Great Tree of Knowledge, I began to increasingly discover that a special connection using knowledge as a bond had been established between the Fool’s Dream Origin Tree and the Great Tree of Knowledge.

Between them, a ”Dual-Tree Structure” firmer than ever before had been constructed.

But the difference was that previously it was a balance completed by two Grand Spellbooks constructed from two portions of [Transcendent Knowledge], but at this moment, they achieved the same origin on another level, and the correlation between them was something that even language could not explain clearly.

Gradually... the original plan was discarded in my mind, and the outline of a brand-new scheme surfaced.

Previously, I had been obsessed with ”Knowledge” and ”Wisdom” complementing each other; it was precisely because of this that the birth of the Dual-Tree Structure was facilitated.

But there was actually another mode that didn’t necessarily have to be complementary; another form, which was... the symbiosis between Life and Knowledge!

Actually, although the [Transcendent Knowledge] of the Great Tree of Knowledge essentially belonged to the ”plant growth” concept, under my deconstruction, its concept had already completed the conversion to ”Knowledge” characteristics.

The so-called understanding and Interpretation of concepts are products of cognition from different angles.

Perhaps the [Transcendent Knowledge] of the original Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment was not the concept of ”leading to life,” but it became such a concept under my cognition.

Then the so-called symbiosis of ”Life” and ”Knowledge” similarly fitted the current Dual-Tree Structure.

Back then, I had once made bold claims, believing that only power completely dominated by me was power belonging to me, and that power must be an extension of my will.

And now... the Interpretation of concepts was similarly so.

Since it could be done according to my thoughts, why not do it?

Moreover... the symbiosis of Knowledge and Life explained another problem: the issue of the name of the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell.

Academy Head Mei once said that this name was the most fitting name for this Grand Spellbook.

There was nothing wrong with that point.

Life reserves knowledge, exploring, summarizing, and utilizing knowledge in practice; is this not the expression of Wisdom’s Enlightenment?

It was just that the Academy Head overlooked that knowledge is a loop of Wisdom’s Enlightenment, viewing it individually as an independent entity of the Grand Spellbook.

However, for the Witch Academy, the acquisition of knowledge was extremely easy in the academy, so it was naturally the factor most easily overlooked.

So... the framework I had envisioned had now actually been built.

The [Transcendent Knowledge] I currently held was both the key to letting the Fool’s Dreams become life and the source of power for the Fool’s Dream race itself.

It was a bit abstract to put it that way.

Perhaps it should be expressed like this...

A witch makes [Transcendent Knowledge] into a Grand Spellbook, so the Grand Spellbook is the power represented by that [Transcendent Knowledge].

The Game World uses an entire civilized world as the hub of their civilization, so this civilized world and technology are the carriers that bear that [Transcendent Knowledge], and also the manifestation of its power.

And the Fool’s Dreams... they pursue life with their own selves, using ”self becoming life” as the carrier to bear [Transcendent Knowledge]; the Fool’s Dream race is the power represented by that [Transcendent Knowledge].

Grand Spellbooks, civilized societies, the Fool’s Dream race... even many concepts can become carriers of [Transcendent Knowledge].

According to what I know, there are even those who make [Transcendent Knowledge] into weapons.

There has never been anything that stipulates the attribution of [Transcendent Knowledge] must be something specific.

And I... I shall lead the Fool’s Dreams toward glory in my capacity as the Sage of the Fool’s Dream race!

And the first step taken was to let them become true lives.

But I do not like ruling, nor do I wish for the Fool’s Dreams to become a tool in my hands.

Perhaps the Fool’s Dreams would be very willing to become a weapon in my hands, but I am unwilling for them to become such an existence.

They should, while becoming lives, enjoy the freedom shared by life, being able to freely decide what they want to do and what to become.

But there was a very contradictory point before this thought was put into practice, which was that before they became true lives, any of my thoughts, ideas, and expectations constantly influenced the Fool’s Dreams; they would unconsciously become the form I expected, rather than the form they decided to become themselves.

And the most intuitive point was... their cat-girl posture.

This was a decision I made unilaterally for them.

Even if freedom were returned to them, they would likely still not choose another appearance.

This truly was an almost unsolvable contradiction, violating my original intention from the very beginning, yet I hoped it would be so... I could even call my own behavior ”double standards.”

But……

The plasticity of life is something they only possess at the moment they become life, and so-called freedom is also the freedom they will only enjoy after becoming life.

Even if they voluntarily acknowledge me, that is similarly their freedom.

With such an explanation, it seemed the so-called standards could also accommodate my selfishness.

Perhaps I should not have made such a rational judgment from the very start; after all, I was not some absolute saint without desires.

I only needed to ensure that my selfishness would not become their shackles, and that would be enough.

Reality.

The Primal Dream State Calamity occurring in the Expansion Realm did not cause any great stir in the society of the Core Realm; in fact, many people were not even clear about this matter.

After all, this incident only affected the Transcendents of the Transcendent academies and a minority of students; the Core Realm naturally didn’t need to be in an uproar over this matter.

However, precisely because it affected people at the Transcendent level, the frequent movements between the various Transcendent academies also made the students of the major Transcendent academies feel uneasy.

The games and negotiations between Transcendents naturally would not reach the ears of the students.

The major Transcendent academies had suddenly lost a dozen—in some cases even dozens—of Transcendents.

This was absolutely damaging to the foundation of the major Transcendent academies.

Initially, they were absolutely unable to accept this result, but limited by the Witch Academy’s advance notification, the vast majority of academies knew there was something fishy here.

As for the Witch Academy’s explanation?

They wouldn’t believe a single word!

But at the moment they were considering whether to flip the table, the Witch Academy proposed a ”win-win cooperation” rescue proposal.

Initially, the other Transcendent academies refused because, considering safety issues, they truly feared another ”Dream Calamity” would occur and leave the rescued Transcendents in the Primal Dream State as well.

But with the passage of time, the various academies also gradually began to relent and cooperate.

This process of hesitation didn’t even last a day.

It could be seen that the Transcendents lost in the Primal Dream State were causing immense pressure on the various Transcendent academies.

Of course, there were also witches fueling the fire within this.

And while this joint rescue plan was proceeding in full swing, the witches in another place were looking a bit worried.

And this included... Mei Linde.

Upon learning that Little Han’s Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell Grand Spellbook had collapsed, she was similarly extremely shocked.

After all, that was a Grand Spellbook!

But after she negotiated with Bai Yu... after Mei Linde gave a sigh, she did not pursue the matter further.

To be able to say the sentence ”Even a Grand Spellbook cannot become her obstacle,” Mei Linde also had to admit that she could not compare to Little Han; even she could not say such words so firmly.

Even though... she too had experienced the loss of a Grand Spellbook.

But she had only gradually accepted the fact of the Grand Spellbook’s collapse over these years, and completed the reconstruction of her own power through practical action, making herself better than before, only then being able to look directly at the recklessness of the past.

Even now, she didn’t dare to say words like a Grand Spellbook being unable to obstruct her.

And this was equivalent to defaulting to the viewpoint that a Grand Spellbook was the upper limit one could reach, but few people could proactively recognize this point.

But... destroying the Grand Spellbook was not the reason why Mei Linde and the others were uneasy.

What they were currently worried about was Little Han herself!

After destroying the Grand Spellbook and stating that she was going to re-organize her own power, Little Han completely lost communication with them.

Even Bai Yu’s special communication channel of the Great Tree of Knowledge had not a single bit of word.

Even for them, it was hard to judge whether Little Han had encountered an accident or was still in a state where the outside world absolutely could not disturb her.

And the Witch Academy’s current active cooperation with the Primal Dream State rescue was similarly hoping to find Little Han, but the final result yielded nothing.

Little Han’s shell had no fluctuations of soul or consciousness, so... Little Han must still be within the Primal Dream State.

And time constantly passed.

The accumulated unease was also gradually increasing……

Until... Bai Yu sensed that familiar soul aura upon Little Han’s body!

Little Han had returned!
