Or rather, I figured out some key points.

It was as if the puzzle had become complete at this moment, and I naturally came to know certain matters.

It wasn’t that other Fool’s Dreams had never visited my Soul Dream State before, but the key lay in the Enlightenment Meditation Method shaped by the rune that represented each Fool’s Dream.

One could say that the Enlightenment Meditation Method was something closely related to the Sacred Object.

And Fool’s Dreams could rely on this, relying on the previous Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell to appear within my Soul Dream State.

And now... Fool’s Dreams were ”growing” out of the Fool’s Dream Seed.

Every branch and leaf extended from the Fool’s Dream Seed represented the memory of a Fool’s Dream.

It was foreseeable that as the Fool’s Dream Seed grew and transformed back into a tree, this tree would be just like Fool’s Village to the Fool’s Dreams.

However, the difference was that the previous Fool’s Village was their only home, but now... their home had transformed into the Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment within my plan.

In other words, they had broken away from the framework of the original Dream Picture Scroll and left Fool’s Village, yet they remained inseparably linked to it.

This feeling was quite strange; after all, the place where they were situated... was my Soul Dream State!

It was as if I were nurturing an entire race within my own body.

Furthermore... up until now, I seemingly hadn’t seen the imagery transformed from the Transcendent Knowledge.

One must know that at the very beginning of the Great Tree of Knowledge, the imagery transformed from the Transcendent Knowledge was the soil upon which the Great Tree of Knowledge stood.

It carried the Great Tree of Knowledge, completing the concept of plant growth by absorbing knowledge for nourishment.

Though... even until now, the perfection of the Great Tree of Knowledge remained a distant goal.

So what about this Fool’s Dream Seed?

The concept of the Transcendent Knowledge directed everything toward Life, so... what was its imagery?

Sage Sis?

At this moment, at my feet, that Fool’s Dream curiously pulled at the hem of my skirt and called out to me weakly.

Hmm?

What’s wrong?

I crouched down and stroked the Fool’s Dream.

Although I was thinking about many things and had many matters to be busy with, I possessed a great deal of patience and tolerance for the Fool’s Dreams.

It’s so big here... so empty... Sage Sis, didn’t you say we were going to find friends?

Friends... I instinctively looked toward the current Fool’s Dream Seed.

Then how about we wait together for the second companion to arrive here?

I led the Fool’s Dream to the place where the Fool’s Dream Seed was sprouting.

Look, you just appeared here a moment ago.

This leaf represents you, and then... once this new leaf currently sprouting unfurls, your new friend will appear.

Really?

The Fool’s Dream imitated me, half-lying on the ground.

After hearing me say this, she didn’t have a single doubt and believed it implicitly.

Although the Fool’s Dream Seed was growing at a speed nearly visible to the naked eye, it indeed took time for the second leaf to unfurl.

That Fool’s Dream seemed to follow her instinct, praying for the new playmate to descend quickly, while I watched quietly from the side.

I had never forgotten that the closer the Fool’s Dreams were to their true selves, the more they were likely to possess information containing some kind of revelation.

Because any feedback of their behavior was an instinctive reflection of their own will.

Only, regarding them at this moment, aside from seeing that they were cute in appearance and cute in behavior, I truly had no other thoughts.

I only felt that such cute creatures should exist in this world!

Yes... instinctively feeling that they should exist in the world—this simple longing for beauty was perhaps the shallowest kind of revelation.

Wow! Hello, let’s be friends!

Accompanying a brand-new figure gradually surfacing within my Soul Dream State, I keenly sensed the information at the instant of the Fool’s Dream’s birth, but I didn’t understand what it represented.

They were all Fool’s Dreams from Fool’s Village, only they were leaving Fool’s Village in another way—that was my initial thought.

But thinking about it now... it seemed saying so wasn’t entirely accurate.

It should be put this way: the Fool’s Dreams who left Fool’s Village were the ones who truly counted as Fool’s Dreams who had existed.

Before I truly arrived at Fool’s Village, the concept of a Fool’s Dream only consisted of that one name.

Once I brought the concept of the Fool’s Dream into Fool’s Village, the Fool’s Dreams gained their current appearance, their current look, their current language, their current... everything.

But this didn’t mean that the past of the Fool’s Dreams was all meaningless.

Back when the Fool’s Dreams still existed in the Academy Head’s secret realm, they weren’t even in the form of cat-eared girls.

So the posture of the Fool’s Dreams wasn’t like this from the very beginning.

Moreover, I was certain that the posture of the Fool’s Dreams was confirmed only after Big Sis Bai and I discussed it together.

However... Just looking at these two Fool’s Dreams, with smiles so joyous at merely meeting each other, I seemed unable to resist the urge to not probe into these deeper things.

Because I knew very well that if I kept digging like this, I would certainly discover a certain concept, which was the answer to what a Fool’s Dream was.

Previously, I believed Fool’s Dreams were Dream Consciousness, a special consciousness born within the dream state, the root of why they existed.

And if I continued like this, what I would be probing... was how Dream Consciousness was born.

Although my rational instinct knew that probing this would have a massive promotional effect on my understanding of the composition of life, I still emotionally wanted to leave this secret to the Fool’s Dreams themselves.

Because I knew very well that once the essence of the Fool’s Dreams was thoroughly understood by me, the gaze with which I looked at them would inevitably be completely different from the past.

But researching this kind of thing... didn’t necessarily require a completely rational analysis of everything.

Just like mysticism at the Transcendent level, not everything can be given a so-called explanation.

Sage Sis... that... over there beneath our feet, there is a very big tree!

What?

Do you want to go to the other side to play?

I inquired in a doting tone.

Mhm... can we?

The Fool’s Dream inquired somewhat cautiously.

Of course you can.

Let’s take you there together!

I picked up one Fool’s Dream in each hand and then leaned my whole body backward.

...So I chose to interact with the Fool’s Dreams in a more emotional way, just like when I first came into contact with them.

Replacing rationality with emotion, replacing research with companionship, replacing experiments with games, replacing learning with fun...

The emotional investment and the inadvertent revelations within it were the most precious.

Or rather... Was this something Academy Head Mei had never tried back then?

When my figure returned to reality from the other side like waking from a dream, the massive Great Tree of Knowledge already stood tall before me.

I lightly stepped on the ripples of the water surface, leading them toward the direction of the Great Tree of Knowledge.

Wow!

So much fun!

We just came over like that?

Mhm that ahead is the Great Tree of Knowledge.

I set them down.

This was the first time I felt the monotony of everything within my Soul Dream State.

However... these two Fool’s Dreams were playing very happily.

Previously, I felt that these two trees occupying the entirety of my Soul Dream State was already enough, but now it seemed... it was far from enough...

For this reason, I specifically released the knowledge within the Great Tree of Knowledge, extending the power of order to accompany them in their play.

But no matter what, I seemed to have a sliver of estrangement from the Fool’s Dreams, as if I felt from the bottom of my heart... that I was no longer suited to play so wantonly.

However, I felt that just watching them play like this was quite nice.

There was a feeling that seeing them be joyous before me made me feel very joyous as well.

Gradually, the images before my eyes began to accelerate.

The number of Fool’s Dreams increased increasingly as the Fool’s Dream Seed sprouted.

I watched as Knowledge Power was woven by them into swings, swaying happily on the Great Tree of Knowledge.

Some Fool’s Dreams mischievously climbed onto the branches, just to find two identical leaves.

Some of them used Knowledge Power to piece together childish drawings, infinitely venting their creativity...

Gradually, many things were added to my Soul Dream State—things that should appear and things that shouldn’t... they decorated the Soul Dream State that I considered empty until everything became orderly.

I only felt a moment of daze before my eyes...

When I snapped out of it again, a figure appeared by my feet.

Sage Sis, won’t you be too lonely standing here alone?

How about I accompany you?

Hmm?

I was as if waking from a great dream, watching the figure before me gradually overlap with the appearance of a Fool’s Dream I was familiar with.

Fool’s... Star?

Sage Sis, I’m here!

Fool’s Star jumped up excitedly, appearing very happy that I still remembered her.

Subsequently, I lifted my head, only to find that everything before my eyes had already become both familiar and foreign to me.

What was familiar was that towering Great Tree of Knowledge; what was foreign were the buildings established around the Great Tree of Knowledge as the center.

This... What exactly happened?

Hmm?

Is there something Sage Sis doesn’t understand?

Fool’s Star tilted her head and inquired.

But hasn’t Sage Sis been watching over us all this time?

Watching over... hearing this word, countless images suddenly flashed before my eyes.

They were every single detail faithfully recorded by the Great Tree of Knowledge.

From the bewilderment of the first Fool’s Dream, to two Fool’s Dreams becoming friends, to the third Fool’s Dream becoming a partner...

Accompanying the growth of the Fool’s Dream Seed, they constantly became friends and then gathered into the current Fool’s Village.

But the center of Fool’s Village was no longer the Starlight Tower watched over by the Fool’s Dreams, but the Great Tree of Knowledge...

Wait!

Thinking here, I suddenly reacted!

Why did I just let the Fool’s Dream Seed grow like that?

Shouldn’t I have used the Fool’s Dream Seed as a framework and the Transcendent Knowledge as the core to create the true Tree of Wisdom’s Enlightenment?

Sage Sis?

Right at this moment, my instant of panic was immediately healed by a Fool’s Dream’s call of Sage Sis.

As expected, Sage Sis still really likes to space out.

Do you need me to take you on a tour?

Sage Sis, you haven’t responded to our calls for a long time.

Has it been a long time... Fine, will you take me to see?

At this moment, the bewilderment in my gaze was swept away, followed by my eyes becoming full of expectation.

Wow! It’s Sage Sis!

Sage Sis has come to Fool’s Village!

It really is!

Accompanying my figure appearing here, what was different from the past was that this time, the Fool’s Dreams were extremely excited about my arrival.

They put down the work in their hands one after another to watch my arrival.

I vaguely remembered that back in the Fool’s Village of the Dream Picture Scroll, they mostly busied themselves according to the things they were predetermined to do.

The Fool’s Dreams now possessed something else that could be felt—Freedom.

When they appeared in my Soul Dream State, the gaze of the first Fool’s Dream was filled with fear of freedom.

But as they explored freedom, they discovered that curiosity was bred from fear, urging them to do things they hadn’t even dared to imagine before.

I met their curious and excited gazes and saw the miraculous scene beneath the Great Tree of Knowledge in the distance.

Fool’s Star the Fool’s Dreams beneath the Great Tree of Knowledge, what are they doing?

Them?

Um... they are learning!

Fool’s Star spoke as she looked in the direction I pointed.

Sage the Great’s Great Tree of Knowledge contains inexhaustible knowledge.

That place is an ocean of knowledge!

You actually spontaneously started to learn?

My eyes widened in disbelief.

Regarding the Fool’s Dreams learning... even I found it hard to imagine.

This group of innocent and cute little fellows was actually constantly learning by relying on my Great Tree of Knowledge and the knowledge deduced by my Knowledge Power.

That’s right, that’s right!

I have gone to learn too!

But the knowledge told us to combine work with leisure, so I am resting during this period!

Fool’s Star said to me very excitedly, the intention of ”come and praise me quickly” in her tone leaping upon her smile.

Fool’s Star is truly wonderful and not just you, all Fool’s Dreams are the best...

I did not skimp on my praise for them.

It wasn’t just Fool’s Star; nearly all the Fool’s Dreams were like this.

The Fool’s Dreams all cheered in excitement because of my praise, for this was acknowledgment from their Sage Sis!

In a daze, I seemed to see a wisp of something drift past my eyes.

I lightly extended my finger to entwine that wisp of pale gold aura.

Instinct told me that this thing seemed to link me and the countless Fool’s Dreams together in this instant.

It was as if I had established a special anchoring with every single Fool’s Dream, and this anchoring originated from a completely different kind of... sentiment from every Fool’s Dream toward me.

Gratitude, admiration, love, worship, hope...

This feeling was extremely miraculous, to the point that this power produced a certain resonance with a certain throb in my heart.

I held my hands to my chest until I slightly loosened them, only then discovering that what was in my palm was... a streak of radiance.

It was as if it used me as a medium to gather the expectations of every Fool’s Dream.

They collectively believed in me, considering me the hope that would lead them toward life.

At this moment, I seemed to no longer have the previous estrangement from this power.

It shimmered with a brilliance named ”Life” at my fingertips.

It was no longer the previous Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell, nor some Grand Spellbook.

It was a goal shared by me and thousands upon thousands of Fool’s Dreams.

...So that was it...

This was a long Action Ritual.

Precisely because I endowed the Transcendent Knowledge with the concept of leading toward life and practiced this goal until its mission reached its end, it was at this moment carried upon my consciousness.

Because the Fool’s Dreams and memories sharing the same origin with it had collectively chosen me, its power was guided out within the dream state.

At this moment, I discovered that under the effect of this power, the techniques derived in the past had a foundation for use.

Though familiar yet foreign, this... held infinite hope!

Then... did this count as indirectly proving that the path I had scouted in the past was correct?
