Apocalyptic Flood: Sexy Beauty Neighbor's Midnight Plea for Food

Chapter 955: Chapter 358: Yangshan School Program (Part 2)

”There’s something I’d like to ask you all to help with.”

Li Hanzhong and Yang Shenmin immediately put aside what they were doing and looked at Liang Yuan.

”Mr. Liang, just let us know what you need.”

”Yeah, Mr. Liang, you saved our lives, there’s no question of helping or not,” said Fu Qibo.

Liang Yuan smiled and said, ”No need to stand on ceremony, since we’re here at Yangshan, we’re all on the same side now, let’s not bring up the past.”

”Mr. Liang, what could be so important that you came personally?” Yang Shenmin asked curiously.

Liang Yuan said solemnly, ”I’m planning to establish a school and wanted to gather you all to discuss how to set it up.”

”What? A school?” Yang Shenmin was surprised, not expecting Liang Yuan to talk about such things.

Li Hanzhong was also a bit stunned, but then got very interested, asked immediately, ”Mr. Liang, you want to set up a school? What kind of school?”

Ren Jie was also amazed, ”A school? Mr. Liang, do you want to teach people in the shelter to read?”

Liang Yuan nodded slightly, ”Yes, all of you here are among the learned and innovative people in our shelter.”

”I want to discuss with you how we should establish this school and what kind of knowledge we should impart.”

”Everyone, for a shelter to maintain stability and continue for a long time, it’s not enough for us just to work hard at farming and fishing every day.”

”I have no idea about the situation outside, but here we are already facing a knowledge gap.”

”In the future, if there are new children - no, we don’t need to wait for the future, even the children we brought back this time have only elementary or even preschool knowledge levels.”

”If we don’t continue their education, our human civilization might regress completely.”

”Of course, my intention isn’t to teach them everything from before the great flood; not everything needs to be learned.”

”But at the very least, basic literacy and numeracy should be taught.”

”They don’t need to have university-level knowledge, but they should at least reach the level of nine years of compulsory education.”

”Moreover, I also need to set up a separate curriculum for superpower-related knowledge, to educate everyone on mutated creatures, understand rune technology, superpower weapons, superpower classification, and so on.”

Liang Yuan roughly explained his idea.

His words immediately made Li Hanzhong, Yang Shenmin, and the others look serious.

They realized that Liang Yuan wasn’t joking; he seriously planned to conduct cultural education.

This move undoubtedly carries significant importance.

It will propel the rapid development of the Yangshan Shelter.

Li Hanzhong nodded earnestly, ”Mr. Liang, your idea is excellent, I fully agree with it.”

”Although the Yangshan Shelter doesn’t have many people now, there are still several thousand.”

”Among them, there are quite a few women and children. In the future, they will certainly multiply and flourish. Without systematic education, our culture will surely decline generation by generation.”

”Most importantly, on the path of evolution, personal prowess is uncertain.”

”Only a strong group can enable humans to stand atop the food chain again.”

Fu Qibo, Ren Jie, and Yang Shenmin all nodded in agreement.

Liang Yuan also smiled and said, ”Professor Li is right, human evolution cannot progress without our intelligence.”

”What sets humans apart from other species is our wisdom. Our ability to summarize, innovate, and adapt is our greatest advantage.”

”So, I’m asking you to help design some educational materials to popularize superpower-related knowledge.”

”You can discuss the details among yourselves.”

”Professor Li, you were a university professor, I believe you have ample experience in this area.”

Li Hanzhong hurriedly said, ”I dare not claim so, when it comes to teaching, Xiaoding also often participated in textbook writing at university, she has the capability in this regard too. My suggestion is to involve her as well.”

Liang Yuan froze for a moment, then slapped his forehead and laughed, ”I almost forgot that Ding Yan was also a professor at Linjiang University.”

He thought for a moment and said, ”Alright, you all first determine the general direction, and then I’ll inquire within our shelter to see if there are any former educators.”

”Meanwhile, I’ll have Old Ma lead the construction team to build the school first.”

”Your main task is to design the textbooks for the superpower curriculum.”

”In these textbooks, I hope to include knowledge about mutated creatures, identification of mutant materials, application of mutated items, and so on.”

”Additionally, I plan to teach a Genetic Activation Technique, which will be the main subject in superpower studies.”

”What? Genetic Activation Technique?”

Everyone was startled, a bit surprised.

They had never heard of such a technique before.

Liang Yuan then smiled, ”This is a technique I’ve developed recently, which can effectively enhance the body’s absorption of external superpower energy, increasing awakening probability.”

”Moreover, this increased probability of awakening will reduce the level of mental crises during awakening.”

Yang Shenmin immediately stood up excitedly, ”Ah? There’s such a technique? Mr. Liang, how did you develop it?”

Li Hanzhong was also stunned, somewhat disbelieving, ”Mr. Liang, have you really developed such a technique?”

Fu Qibo and Ren Jie both widened their eyes in disbelief at Liang Yuan.
