Apocalyptic Flood: Sexy Beauty Neighbor's Midnight Plea for Food

Chapter 867: Chapter 319: The Past of Lai Zhiyong and Fu Qibo

Liang Yuan was also surprised by Fu Qibo’s unconventional ideas.

Although he had also discovered the secrets of the rune bones.

However, he had always used superpower stones as carriers, engraving runes on them to create talisman stones.

The finished talisman stones could then be used as skill stones.

This technology was discovered and promoted by the military.

However, superpower stones are not easy to obtain.

Only by occupying Yangshan and Meishan did he find a large number of superpower stone mines.

Otherwise, superpower stones are actually hard to find.

But the young man named Fu Qibo in front of him unexpectedly took a different path, using the bones of mutant creatures as carriers, engraving runes on them to form superpower weapons!

And these superpower weapons don’t necessarily have to rely on superpower stones; superpower users can also serve as energy inputs, providing energy to the superpower weapons to activate the skills on them.

One could imagine, wouldn’t a superpower user not good at combat be equivalent to gaining a powerful combat skill if they acquired such a superpower weapon?

This effectively provides combat capability to support-type superpower users.

Meanwhile, the existence of superpower stones allows ordinary people to use these superpower weapons.

This gives ordinary people a chance to survive in this flood apocalypse.

Liang Yuan carefully sized up this guy named Fu Qibo, realizing he was indeed a technical talent.

He crouched down to untie the ropes binding him, asking, ”How did you know this Lai Zhiyong? Why did he bring only you without taking anything else?”

Fu Qibo got up, showing anger upon hearing this, and said, ”Brother, you don’t know that Lai Zhiyong and I were actually neighbors.”

”The mutated fruit he ate even grew from my home.”

Liang Yuan couldn’t help but show surprise upon hearing this.

”What happened?”

Fu Qibo ran over to Lai Zhiyong, gave him a hard kick, and cursed, ”This bastard is a downright villain, shameless and despicable!”

”To be honest, I originally lived on the thirty-first floor, in apartment 3110, which was a place distributed by my work unit.”

”When the great flood started, we were already asked to go back and work remotely.”

”Initially, no one expected that torrential rain would mark the beginning of the flood.”

”The rain lasted for less than a week, and there were already power and water outages outside.”

”In the second week, the internet and gas were also cut off. By the time I realized something was wrong, it was too late; the outside was already a vast ocean, with the water exceeding a person’s height in deep places.”

”Fortunately, I am usually quite reclusive and often work overtime on R&D, so my girlfriend would prepare a lot of snacks and such at home for me.”

”By the end of the first month of the great flood, there were disturbances in the building, with people starting to rob others of their food, and even violent incidents occurred.”

”I was very scared. At this time, Lai Zhiyong also came to seek refuge with us, saying it wasn’t safe to live alone and that we should live together.”

”I had a decent relationship with him before, so I agreed.”

”He moved into my home, and I shared my food with him.”

”Back then, I thought that with our country’s power, no matter how big the flood was, national rescue would arrive soon, so I didn’t feel any reluctance in sharing food.”

”I didn’t expect the national rescue not to come for a long time, and our food was becoming scarcer.”

”And during this period, several cases of malicious home invasions and robberies occurred in the building, exposing Lai Zhiyong’s true nature gradually.”

...

Fu Qibo’s experience wasn’t particularly convoluted, essentially being a technology geek with no ulterior motives, who kindly took in Lai Zhiyong.

Lai Zhiyong, however, played the farmer and the snake scenario, eating up all of Fu Qibo’s snacks, and when there was nothing left, he started eating the green plants in Fu Qibo’s home.

Lai Zhiyong was cunning and didn’t dare to directly eat the mutated plant fruit, so he forced Fu Qibo to eat one first.

Fu Qibo had no choice and ate a mutated fruit, unexpectedly awakening a superpower in his eyes.

Seeing this, Lai Zhiyong was overjoyed and immediately ate a mutated fruit with yellow flowers.

Then he successfully awakened a wood attribute mutant ability, becoming a superpower user capable of plant manipulation.

Lai Zhiyong, with his ill intentions, after gaining the superpower, initially only dared to steal and didn’t really dare to get into conflicts or fights with others.

At this time, they still held onto a glimmer of hope, expecting national rescue would appear.

But as time went by, the rescue didn’t come.

Instead, terrifying mutant fish and mutant creatures began appearing in the water.

People in the building, already in panic, began to break down.

Then some bold individuals started boldly killing and pillaging.

Some maniacs began to abuse women, and daily screams echoed in the corridors.

Lai Zhiyong also let go of his fears, using his superpower to start ambushing ordinary people to rob food.

Then he became obsessed with women, and first, a neighbor upstairs fell victim to him.

He used plant vines to sneak into an upstairs neighbor’s home from outside and raped the young woman there.

During this process, the woman’s husband discovered them, and they fought.

Lai Zhiyong strangled the couple to death with mutated vines.

After killing them, when he returned home, he had severe diarrhea and vomited profusely, hiding in his room not daring to come out.

When Fu Qibo went to find him, he ignored him.
