Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2988: Chapter 2997: All She Thought About Was Bobby and Gigi

”Forget it, I don’t need you to tell me the dishes, I’ll decide what I want for dinner myself. Whatever I make, you’ll eat.” She finally made a correct decision.

Enna Clark took out her phone, scrolled to the memo, and started making notes, ”Let me think. Gigi is too young, so an egg custard will do for her. Hmm... She likes sand shrimp, I’ll go to the market later to buy some and steam them on the egg custard. I’m not sure if she can eat seafood before her knee wound heals. I’ll have Mr. Harris call the doctor later and ask...”

”Besides egg custard, Bobby likes beef. Let’s make some spicy beef for tonight. Baby’s performance today was so good, I must make a dish he loves to reward him! So spicy beef is a must! Hmm hmm~ What else shall I make? Let’s do braised spare ribs, braised pork ribs with potatoes. He likes them too~”

Shit!

Baron Lawrence’s pitch-black eyes turned darker inch by inch; she had just been saying she’d cook for him, yet here she was listing three dishes, none related to him!

Even though her focus was on the two little ones, his chest still felt like it was being gripped by an invisible big hand, leaving him somewhat uncomfortable.

Enna Clark seemed to sense the sudden silence in the air, and after mentioning several dishes Bobby loved, she finally thought of him, ”Let me see, that’s already four dishes. Let’s make a vegetable salad. Baron Lawrence, I seem to remember you don’t like spicy food, right? How about borscht? I’ll try making one tonight.”

The arrogant man was finally pleased by that ’I remember you don’t like spicy food’, and the previously gloomy eyes cleared up significantly, though his attitude remained lazily indifferent, ”As you wish!”

Enna Clark glanced at him, stifling a laugh, ”Then the soup for tonight is settled, let’s make a borscht. And stir-fry two vegetables. Lettuce and water spinach are in season; they’re best when quickly stir-fried. Hmm...I’ll make you vinegar sauce pork, too. It’s not spicy. Sweet and sour, you should like it.”

The clouds inside the car completely cleared, and the sunshine was so bright that even the driver in the front row let out a sigh of relief.

Emma, he was scared to death just now.

Luckily, Young Madam reacted quickly, or he would’ve been scared to death.

”Whatever!” He said casually, but his thin lips clearly curled upwards.

Enna Clark chuckled secretly, lifted her head to steal a kiss from his mouth corner, her eyes bright, ”That’s decided then. Let’s head to the wet market! The market’s produce is fresher!”

Baron Lawrence’s lips retained her fragrance from the kiss, and his eyes darkened as he took charge, pulling her close. After a lingering kiss, in a husky voice, he instructed the driver, ”To the nearest market!”

The driver had already started searching for the nearest farmers’ market right as Enna Clark mentioned it, and promptly replied, ”Yes, Lord.”

The Lincoln Stretch Limousine turned towards the nearest market...

Bobby’s car followed, the impressive luxury convoy stopping outside the nearest market under the astonished eyes of passersby.

Enna Clark personally got out to shop, buying a load of fresh and cheap ingredients, and only after more than half an hour did she return fully loaded to Birch Garden.

Once home.

Joanne Harrison, without needing instructions, helped Scott Harris carry the groceries to the kitchen and said as they walked, ”Young Madam, you should rest a bit. Leave the picking and washing of vegetables to Mr. Harris and me. We’ll call you when we’re ready.”
