Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2928: Chapter 2937: I Don’t Want It

”Drinking one less glass of water won’t make them die of thirst!” Baron Lawrence squinted his eagle-like eyes, extremely displeased by her concern for others.

Gigi and Bobby were fine, but when it came to people like Scott Harris, even if they were his people, hearing concern for them from her mouth still gave him an inexplicable sense of irritation.

Looking at the fair face of the little woman beneath him, he didn’t know why, but that irritation was inexplicably suppressed. He leaned down and kissed Enna Clark’s lips, biting them gently, and suddenly said, ”Do you know everything?”

”Uh...” Enna Clark was unsure of what he meant, ”Know what?”

Baron Lawrence released his grip on her hand and stood up first. His body was tall and proud, looking at her with an air of nobility, ”You’re pregnant.”

Enna Clark also sat up with him, showing no signs of surprise, calmly raising her head to look at him, ”I know, I just don’t understand why you didn’t tell me.”

She originally didn’t want to say it, but there was always an inexplicable discomfort if she didn’t, ”Baron Lawrence, do you not want this child?”

His silence implied not wanting it.

Enna Clark took a deep breath, trying not to let the heavy mood weigh her down.

The doctor had said that the most important thing for a pregnant woman is to maintain a relaxed mindset so that the baby in her belly can grow healthily.

Baron Lawrence gave her a deep look and didn’t deny it, his thin lips pressed into a line, unreservedly admitting, ”I don’t want it.”

”Then keeping it from me was to...” quietly terminate the baby in her belly?

Enna Clark really didn’t want to say the rest.

Saying it would hurt feelings too much.

Baron leaned down, reaching out his hand, fingers gently touching her flat lower belly, where a miraculous little life was nurturing. A life completely out of his control, a miracle. At first, when he reached to touch her belly, Enna Clark’s nerves tensed, but as his movements softened, her tension gradually relaxed, and her gaze also softened, ”Baron Lawrence you...”

”I don’t want him, if I did, I wouldn’t have had the vasectomy!” The proud man straightened his body, his eagle eyes continuing complicatedly, ”The doctor said after a man has a vasectomy, the chances of getting a woman pregnant are nearly zero, I never thought you would still get pregnant. You know very well what your pregnancy means to me. According to my thoughts, I definitely don’t want this child! Because we already have two children, you love kids, two is enough.”

Enna Clark held her breath, waiting for him to continue.

Baron Lawrence’s expression grew increasingly helpless, domineering yet indulgent, ”But with your personality, you definitely wouldn’t obediently listen to me and abort the child. If I forced you, you might do something like run away. So, compared to aborting the child, I choose to stay with you. I previously invested in a medical team researching genetic diseases; after Giselle Lawrence was born, their research results hadn’t been implemented. I didn’t cancel the funding either. Recently, they sent me a report saying they’ve preliminarily solved some challenges and produced research results. I’ll have them come over then, to fully oversee your health during pregnancy!”

Enna Clark didn’t expect he secretly prepared so much, her heart felt both sweet and complex.
