Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2291: Chapter 2300: I’ll Make Sure She Can’t Shoot This Commercial

”Just because I’m not doing anything now doesn’t mean I’m free. Even if I were free, it doesn’t mean I’m available for you.” Enna Clark wasn’t someone who liked to stir up trouble, but she also wasn’t afraid of it. The other person kept provoking her again and again, so there was no need to be polite anymore. ”Besides, whether or not I’m a staff member at the TV station seems to have nothing to do with you. Judging by your clothes, you don’t look like a TV station leader. If you want someone to shine your shoes, go outside, to the city center, and see if you can find someone. Coming here, you’re probably in the wrong place.”

After Enna finished speaking, she couldn’t be bothered to argue anymore, so she pulled open the studio door and went in.

The female star watched her go inside, her pretty face twisting with anger. She couldn’t catch her breath and slapped her female assistant next to her, ”Are you happy to see me embarrassed? Huh, are you?”

The assistant, caught off guard by the slap, almost burst into tears, ”No, I’m not.”

”Why are you crying? Is there a camera here on you? Who are you trying to put on a show for?” The female star, her mood foul, spoke with a sharp edge.

The assistant was immediately too scared to even cry, enduring the burning pain on her face, keeping her head down, and not daring to make a sound.

”Look at you. Why did I agree with my manager to let you be my assistant back then? You just look clueless!” The female star was increasingly displeased with her, speaking even more harshly, ”I just got bullied, are you mute, can’t say a word?”

”I don’t know what to say...”

It was, after all, her own fault for wanting to bully others just because they were prettier. And then she hit a brick wall; who else is to blame?

The assistant only dared to think this to herself, not daring to let a single word slip from her mouth.

”Damn it, I’ve never been humiliated like this before! All of this was caused by Olivia Lewis! If she hadn’t stolen my endorsement, would I be this unlucky? No way, I won’t just swallow this!” The female star was shaking with anger, gritting her teeth tightly, saying fiercely, ”Isn’t she filming a commercial? I’ll make sure she can’t continue! If she has the guts to steal the ad, she should have expected this day to come!”

”Ms. Lena, what are you going to do?” The assistant’s heart raced into her throat upon hearing her words, fearing she might cause trouble.

Lena pushed past her, snapping, ”Get out of the way!”

”I’m just going to chat with a junior, not doing anything.”

”But Ms. Lena, you mustn’t, this commercial is...”

Before she could finish her sentence, Lena’s face became even darker. Almost seething with rage, she glared at her assistant, ”This commercial was supposed to be mine! The man too! I’ve tolerated it for a long time. If she didn’t steal my ad, fine, but since she did, why should I keep quiet? Do you think I’m one of those minor stars? With my current status in the entertainment industry, what do I have to be afraid of? They can try to ban me if they dare. I’m not lacking support.”

”Lena...”

She brushed aside the assistant and walked toward the studio...

And everyone around her could only hastily follow...

...

Inside the studio.

Olivia Lewis had already done her makeup and changed clothes, chatting with Enna Clark to ease the tension.

Suddenly, a crowd swept in front of them.

Sunny, who was communicating with the Director, noticed the situation wasn’t right and quickly came over, positioning herself in front of Enna Clark and Olivia Lewis. She looked at the new arrivals with a professional smile lifting the corners of her eyes, ”Ah, it’s Ms. Lena. Is Ms. Lena also here today to record a program at the TV Station?”
