Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2257: Chapter 2266: Received a Call from Lyle Westbrook

The car was almost at the Lawrence Headquarters.

The phone in Enna Clark’s hand suddenly rang.

She initially thought it was Baron Lawrence calling after seeing her message. Unexpectedly, it was Lyle Westbrook’s long-unseen number calling.

She hesitated for a moment and picked up the call, ”Hello?”

The person on the other end sounded anxious, ”Ms. Clark? Hello. I found your number in Young Master Lyle’s phone. I am Young Master Lyle’s bodyguard. Where are you now? Do you have time? If it’s convenient, could you please come and see Young Master Lyle?”

Enna Clark sat up straight, furrowing her brow, ”What happened to Lyle Westbrook?”

”Young Master Lyle is not well, Ms. Clark. We had no choice but to call you. Please come and see Young Master Lyle.” The bodyguard’s tone was genuinely anxious, even using the word ”beg,” ”Ms. Clark, if you’re worried, I can come to pick you up. Please, I beg you to spare a little time, just a little.”

Enna Clark could tell he was genuinely anxious. She pondered for a moment and softly said, ”Send me the address. I’ll come over immediately.”

”Really? That’s great! Thank you, Ms. Clark, thank you. I’ll send over the address immediately. I’ll be waiting for you.”

The call ended.

Shortly after, a GPS location was sent to her phone.

After receiving the location, Enna Clark said to the driver in front, ”Turn the car around and go to this place.”

She handed over her phone.

The driver was taken aback for a moment, took the phone, and cautiously asked, ”First Young Lady, are we not going to the Lawrence Headquarters?”

”Let’s go here first.”

She still wasn’t at ease with Lyle Westbrook.

After all, Lyle Westbrook helped her so many times and even saved Gigi’s life.

No matter what, she couldn’t just leave him behind.

As for the Lawrence Headquarters.

She would deal with Lyle Westbrook first and then talk to Baron Lawrence when she got home.

”Okay, First Young Lady.” The driver didn’t dare to ask more, turned the car around, and sped off according to the location on Enna Clark’s phone.

The location sent by Lyle Westbrook’s bodyguard was in a wealthy area of Country W, filled with standalone villas, each worth over a hundred million.

Indeed, as he initially said, the bodyguard was waiting outside early.

As soon as Enna Clark’s car stopped, he anxiously helped open the car door and said, ”Ms. Clark, you’re finally here. Please come in first.”

”Hmm.”

Enna Clark didn’t even have time to ask how they came to Country W or what exactly was going on with Lyle Westbrook, as she was ushered in.

Once inside the villa.

She immediately heard a familiar male voice, ”Get out.”

Compared to Baron Lawrence’s forcefulness, this command to get out was calm and restrained yet carried a chilling pressure down to the bones.

It was Lyle Westbrook’s voice!

Enna Clark breathed a sigh of relief.

After all, she had just experienced an elevator incident; she feared it was a trap. If it weren’t for the bodyguard using Lyle Westbrook’s phone to call her, she perhaps wouldn’t have rushed over so unprepared.

The bodyguard also heard the reprimanding voice from upstairs, grew even more anxious, and extended his hand toward Enna Clark, ”Ms. Clark, please go upstairs. Young Master Lyle is just upstairs.”

”What on earth happened?” Enna Clark asked while following him upstairs.

The bodyguard hesitated and stammered, ”Ms. Clark, you’ll know once you go up. Specifically, I’ll explain after you see Young Master Lyle.”

The situation was too complicated for him to explain to Enna Clark clearly at the moment.
