Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2282: Chapter 2291: Lord, That Car Is Getting Ready to Leave

Enna Clark initially wanted to say no, but after thinking for a moment, she changed her mind, ”Okay, thank you.”

”It’s no trouble, Young Madam, please wait a moment.”

Ten minutes later, Enna Clark got into the designated car and left the Lawrence Headquarters...

Meanwhile.

There was movement at the hotel.

The car that had been tracking them started moving, and Scott Harris, who was monitoring from outside, immediately sent a message to Baron Lawrence.

”Lord, that car seems to be leaving.”

”Have someone follow it!”

”Rest assured, Lord, I’ve already arranged a vehicle to track it according to your instructions.”

”I’ll be down shortly. As soon as they drive away, come to the hotel entrance to pick me up!”

”Yes.”

As they were speaking, the black car hidden beneath the shadows of the street corner trees suddenly started up. Scott Harris gave orders for the tracking team to prepare to follow, while reporting to the man over the receiver, ”Lord, the car has left...”

”I’m on the first floor. Drive over.”

Scott Harris immediately instructed the driver, ”Drive to the entrance.”

”Yes.” The driver stepped on the gas, making a sharp turn to reach the hotel entrance.

A shadow opened the car door and instantly got in.

”Drive!”

Low and hoarse.

Who else could it be but Baron Lawrence?

Scott Harris hadn’t expected him to change into a different outfit, wearing a hat and sunglasses for a simple disguise. Even seeing him take off the sunglasses made him a bit stunned, ”Lord, what is this?”

”Can you be certain the hotel is entirely staffed with our people, without any spies from the other side? Just in case, I’m making preparations. I don’t want to fight battles I’m unsure of. I’ve spent so much time just to reel the fish in. Now that that slippery fish is finally on the hook, unless I make it into fish head with chopped chili, how can I let it get away!”

He took off his hat and extended his hand to Scott Harris, ”Give me the laptop.”

”Yes.” Scott Harris handed the laptop to him, which had detailed maps and surveillance of the entire city’s streets displayed.

”The car’s license plate number.”

”KHFYE390HA.”

With slender fingers, Baron Lawrence entered a series of codes into the system, quickly popping up several small windows. As he focused on typing, he calmly ordered, ”Make sure the tracking car follows them well without being discovered.”

”Yes, Lord. I’ve informed them long ago; I told them if the other side notices, not to alarm them and immediately turn into the nearest intersection.”

”How many cars did you arrange for the tracking?”

”Four cars.”

Not too many, not too few. The safest quantity, least likely to be noticed.

”Only one car was following from the start; the others joined from the hotel’s exit. Even if they suspect one car is following, they wouldn’t think there are more.”

Baron Lawrence glanced up at him, lips touching, ”Well done!”

Scott Harris beamed, immediately saying, ”Thank you, Lord.”

Baron Lawrence bowed his head, continuing to focus on tracking via the computer.

Ten minutes later, the opposing car shook off the first vehicle.

Next, for an hour and a half, it seemed as if that car was deliberately circling the Lawrence Headquarters three times.

As a last resort, the other three tracking cars also had to enter intersections.

After all, they had circled three times already; continuing to follow would easily get noticed.
