Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1812: Chapter 1802: Haven’t Felt This Relaxed and Happy in a Long Time

He went off running, not sure where he got a box from, filled with beer, and carried it out.

The other two also went to help.

The action of the three was astonishing.

August Oliver walked over to her at this moment, naturally taking her hand. With a low, rich, and unique voice, he said, ”We often play like this at night. Beach parties are a lot of fun, probably different from the parties you’ve attended before. If you feel uncomfortable later, let me know, and I’ll take you back to the hotel. Otherwise, these guys will play till late.”

Olivia Lewis was already curious, and his words made her even more intrigued. Her curiosity made her overlook the awkwardness of him holding her hand, ”Do you often have beach parties? How can four people throw a party?”

”You’ll see when we get out there.” August held her hand tighter and more assertively led her outside, ”They should be about ready, let’s go, I’ll take you there.”

It was already dark outside, and because they were by the sea, there were a lot of visible stars in the night sky. The sound of the ocean waves crashing was like singing, and the ambiance was much more beautiful than those so-called luxurious banquets she had attended before.𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

When they reached the beach outside the cabin, Olivia Lewis’s eyes lit up.

There was a wooden boardwalk built at the beach side, extending into the sea. Annan and the others had tied two rows of small lights to the boardwalk, beautifully dream-like.

On the larger observation deck of the boardwalk, they set up a family-style grill, and various kinds of food were placed beside it. Nico was personally working the grill.

In the center, a large carpet was laid out, with a big portable lantern on top and opened beers all around.

It looked carefree and unrestrained.

Annan saw them coming and waved, ”Hey sis-in-law, hurry up, I saved you a good spot. Let me tell you, this spot is the best for grabbing skewers. Nico’s grilling skills are amazing, snatch them up before they’re all gone!”

”Hey, don’t badmouth me in front of my sis-in-law. How could I snatch from her? I’d definitely give it to her first.”

”Will you let her win when you play games later?”

”That’s a no-go, no brothers on the battlefield. At most... most I’ll drink a full glass, and sis-in-law half a glass.”

Olivia Lewis watched their harmonious atmosphere and couldn’t help but lean over, sitting in the spot Annan had saved for her. She smiled and said, ”You said it, you’ll drink a glass, I’ll drink half. Don’t cry later, because I won’t show mercy. What shall we play? Dice? Compare numbers or guess how many?”

She rolled up the sleeves of her high-end evening gown, ready for action.

Annan and the others quietly breathed a sigh of relief, relieved that their earlier worry that she wouldn’t like such a simple party was unfounded. They gathered together and started playing noisily.

After one round, two of them looked serious.

After three rounds, the two deeply regretted saying they would give Olivia Lewis a half chance.

Thankfully Nico had finished grilling skewers and joined in.

”Come on, watch me dominate. August Oliver, you too.” Olivia, having won excitedly, had completely taken over.

Starry sky, sea breeze, skewers, beer, and unrestrained laughter, without worrying about paparazzi, or image, just playing and shouting as they pleased... Olivia Lewis had never felt so light and happy before, gradually letting go of her guard completely, laughing freely, and playing joyfully...
