Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1806: Chapter 1796: Confessing in Front of Thousands

The Director was almost beside himself with anger, throwing down the schedule in his hand and roaring at the Manager, ”What on earth does he want to do today?! Does he really want to confess to Olivia Lewis in front of thousands of people?!”

Just barely, with Olivia Lewis’s explanation, they had narrowly averted a crisis, and now this love song pulled the situation back.

Anyone who likes August Oliver knows that he once said in an interview that he wrote this song for a girl he liked.

Now, at his concert, at this crucial moment, he’s following it up by singing ”All of Me.” Doesn’t he want the reporters to seize this moment to frantically create rumors?

”Tell me, what does he really want to do? Does he know what he’s doing right now?! The song on the schedule is not this one, why is he singing this one at this moment? And you, such a big matter, do you really know nothing about it?” he fumed at the Manager.

”I don’t know either. August only told me he invited Olivia Lewis as the surprise guest for the concert. I thought they were just senior-junior co-stars in a movie, and Olivia Lewis is a top-tier star, they had cooperation. It seemed perfect to create momentum for the new song, how was I to know he would be so...” The Manager, beads of sweat on his forehead, was even more anxious than the Director.

How could he have known August Oliver would be so bold?

”You know nothing, how do you manage them!” The Director was furious to the extreme, feeling drained, he closed his eyes and said, ”Forget it! Quickly call the company, let the Public Relations department prepare an emergency plan immediately. Also, communicate with the media, cancel the media interviews after the concert. Otherwise, with August’s character, if he admits to liking Olivia Lewis during reporters’ traps, it would be unsolvable.”

Their words just landed.

Then they heard a pause between drumbeats on stage, countless bubbles floating up. The entire stage turned into a fairy tale scene like Alice in Wonderland. Bubbles refracted seven colored lights under the illumination, too beautiful for any girl to resist.

At that moment, the person who had been quietly sitting on the high stool singing took the microphone off the stand. He then walked towards Olivia Lewis with the microphone in hand—

As he moved, the stage lights followed him.

Tens of thousands of eyes turned to him in unison.

August Oliver stopped in front of Olivia Lewis under the gaze of thousands, though he was three years younger than Olivia. Yet his height was a whole head taller, and the way he slightly lowered his head to look at her was enough to make the fans’ hearts flutter wildly.

But it was the next words that truly shattered the fans’ hearts.

”A long time ago, the girl I liked mentioned in an interview that her imagined confession scene should have bubbles everywhere, a ring, and someone singing. I prepared for a long time, I wrote this song. But back then, she was a star in the sky, too far from me. I could only do my best to get closer to her. Today, I’ve finally reached her.”

He suddenly took out a box and opened it.

The diamond ring inside blinded the eyes of everyone.

August Oliver’s eyes were full of her, with a smile on his lips, his eyes even brighter than the diamond, ”Olivia Lewis, I like you. Will you go out with me?”
