Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1332: Chapter 1332: Today, Bobby actually stopped watching the soap opera about mother-in-law and daughter-in-law Chapter 1332: Chapter 1332: Today, Bobby actually stopped watching the soap opera about mother-in-law and daughter-in-law Her milky voice was especially adorable, especially those grape-like big eyes, so cute that everyone loved her.

The servant, holding back a laugh, came out of the kitchen and said to Enna Clark, “Miss, it’s time for the little miss to go to bed. I’ll take her back to the room and put her to sleep.”

“Okay,” Enna Clark handed the little dumpling over to her.

Giselle Lawrence had nerves of steel; she didn’t cry or fuss like other children her age when she was suddenly transferred from her mommy’s arms to Auntie Poppy’s. Instead, she flashed a silly smile at Auntie Poppy and said, “Sleep, go to sleep.”

“Right, right, the little miss is going to sleep, let’s go, it’s time for us to go to bed.”

The servant carried her and headed toward the room.

After the bedroom door was shut, Enna Clark sat down next to Bobby, stroked his head lightly, and asked softly, “Baby, how did you feel about your first day at school? Are you getting used to it?”

Bobby seemed to have not been this close to her for a long time, and a fleeting awkwardness flitted across his cool, handsome face. Then he turned his head away, trying to act all grown-up, “It’s fine, they’re just a bunch of kids, nothing to get used to.”

“…” He seemed to forget he was just a 7-year-old kid himself. Enna Clark was at a loss for words, “Then, did you make any friends at school?”

“Friends? Do you mean boys or girls?” Bobby paused and then said, “If you’re talking about boys, then no. If you mean girls, they all want to be my friend, but I don’t want to. They’re too noisy.”

“So, you didn’t make any friends?” Enna Clark felt a headache coming on.

Bobby had already jumped down from the sofa, frowning and with an expression of disdain, “Do you think everyone is as dumb as you, willing to be friends with someone better-looking than themselves? People aren’t stupid. If they get along well with me, they will be with me every day, and then girls will like them even less.”

Enna Clark, “…”

Bobby, as if too lazy to continue this conversation, waved his hand and said, “I’m going back to my room to do homework. Woman, you should go rest too.”

Today he actually didn’t pester her to watch the dramatic TV series with him, which left Enna Clark somewhat surprised.

Without giving her a chance to ask, Bobby had already stomped off toward his room wearing slippers that were too big, intended for adults.

Had it not been for waiting for his woman to get home safely, he would have gone back to his room long ago.

Today was the day he had planned to sell the stocks he had been hoarding, and furthermore, the teacher Grandpa had found for him was supposed to give him a lesson via a video call tonight.

So, the dramatic TV series would have to wait until next time, when he could watch it again with his woman.

Bobby was also quite regretful; he had only two episodes left of that TV series, which he could have finished watching tonight with his woman, but unfortunately, he couldn’t watch it now and would have to wait until tomorrow.

He had made up his mind to drag Enna Clark with him tomorrow night to finish the last two episodes of the TV series together.

Enna Clark had no idea what he was thinking; she just watched as he went off without insisting on watching the TV series or demanding her company, and she simply headed back to her room, closing the bedroom door with a click.

Only then did she belatedly realize that Bobby had really gone to his room.

She waited outside for a while but didn’t see anyone coming out of the bedroom. Once she was sure he wouldn’t call her to watch TV together tonight and truly meant to ‘do homework,’ she went upstairs.
