Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1206: Chapter 1206: No Major Health Issues Chapter 1206: Chapter 1206: No Major Health Issues On the other side, in the Emergency Room of a hospital in Country W.

The doctor performed a comprehensive examination on the physically weakened Tessa Wilson, and after treating her external injuries, he gave a large gesture and said, “Okay, there’s no problem now. Just follow the nurse and get a glucose solution.”

“Really? There’s no problem?” Tessa Wilson’s mother had been supporting the person by her side from beginning to end, her expression urgent as she asked with concern.

Pushing up his glasses, the doctor, who was used to these situations, began prescribing medication on the computer while speaking, “She doesn’t have any serious underlying issues. It’s just that she has had a hard time recently and hasn’t been eating well, leading to nutritional deficiencies and weakness. Normally, I wouldn’t even prescribe medicine for her condition; I’d just suggest you take her home, have her eat something, and rest. However, considering the severity of her weakness, I’m going to prescribe a bottle of glucose solution for infusion. When you get home, prepare some plain rice porridge for her.”

“Doctor, is just plain rice porridge enough? Do we need to prepare something else?” She was still worried.

Raising his head and arching an eyebrow at her, the doctor replied irritably, “She’s been starving for several days, what on earth do you want to feed her all at once? Anyway, if you’re not afraid of causing her stomach further problems, you can feed her whatever you like.”

The middle-aged woman suddenly became mutteringly speechless and kept apologizing, “I’m sorry, I didn’t know. I’m just worried because my child is so weak that I asked the doctor. I don’t understand these things. I’ve got it now. I’ll watch her get her infusion, then I’ll go make her plain rice porridge.”

At this point, Enna Clark, who had been standing to one side without speaking up, said, “You don’t have to go through all that trouble; I’ll have someone buy a portion to bring over.”

“Can we?” Tessa Wilson’s mother, also worried about leaving her newly recovered daughter alone in the hospital, brightened up.

The waitressing girl being supported by her looked instinctively toward Enna Clark; unlike her mother, however, her gaze was evasive and guilt-ridden.

Enna Clark, as if she didn’t notice her guilt, nodded and said softly, “We can.”

She turned her head and instructed one of the bodyguards, “Go buy some plain rice porridge and bring it back.”

“Yes, Miss.” The bodyguard, having received the order, promptly left to do it.

The middle-aged woman was on the verge of tears of joy, repeatedly thanking Enna Clark, “Thank you, thank you.”

She didn’t understand much; she only knew that it was Enna Clark who helped find her daughter, missing for more than a day, brought her to the hospital, and had been assisting them throughout, so her eyes were filled with nothing but sincere gratitude.

While genuinely expressing her appreciation, she said to the girl she was supporting, “Tiffany, you should really thank this Miss. If it weren’t for her, I couldn’t have found you at all, let alone brought you out.”

Tessa Wilson’s initially guilt-ridden eyes now filled with more remorse. She moved her lips, hardly daring to look at Enna Clark’s eyes, and only after a long while did she utter, “Mm.”

Her voice was so quiet that if you weren’t listening carefully, you wouldn’t hear it at all.

But Enna Clark heard it.

Scott Harris heard it too.

A nurse, clad in her uniform, holding the prescription the doctor had provided, told them, “Come with me, I’ll take you to the infusion area.”

“Sure, sure. Tiffany, walk slowly.” The middle-aged woman’s attention instantly returned to her daughter, helping the weak young woman keep up with the nurse’s pace.

“Mom, you don’t have to worry about me,” the young woman said weakly as they walked.

The middle-aged woman carefully supported her while walking and said with a mix of frustration and concern, “How could I not worry about you?”

Watching the two walk further and further away, Enna Clark then said to Scott Harris beside her, “Mr. Harris, let’s go too; we’ll follow them. ”
