Chapter 361: Chapter 362: The Taken-Over Spirit is Gone

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Fly, she’s flying?

SatenRuiko clicked on the picture sent by Katsura Kotonoha, and what came into view was a black girl with a yellow paper stuck on her forehead, floating in the air. Her eyes were open, but her pupils were pure black.

Her pink skirt was swayed by the breeze, and her face showed no expression at all.

Doujin Artist: She’s really flying, looks so weird!

Curly-haired Guy: I feel like she wants to do some kind of super powerful move.

Lazy Kitten: Haha, super powerful move! Wrong show, right? (Expression: facepalm).

Amegakure Village’s Angel: It is the wrong show, but her look and stance really give off that vibe. But his eyes were special, hers are just black?

This is an Actor: She’s probably in some kind of changed state. First, use this binding skill to trap her, then try putting some hot power into her.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Huh? Why use that hot power?

Soul Society’s Villain: If the ghost-banishing paper from Lin Jiu didn’t work, do you think martial arts will?

This is an Actor: They’re actually different. The ghost-banishing paper is like something based on laws, it might only work under the rules of Lin Jiu’s world. But inner power, energy, that’s not a law but energy. Energy basically works in all worlds.

Soul Society’s Villain: I see, that makes sense. I didn’t know much.

This is an Actor: I thought of this because of what happened to Luo Li. She used her special move on ghosts in her world and it worked.

Machete Girl: I’ll try it!

The message was sent, and Kotonoha disappeared from where she was. She appeared above the black girl, grabbed her wrist and pulled her down from the air.

Aaaah.

It seemed like the ritual was interrupted, and the girl let out a scream that didn’t sound human. The air around them got really cold, and frost started to form around the abandoned factory.

Not far away, the girl with pigtails and Kotonoha Katsura watched this scene with wide eyes, their faces showing shock.

After a long silence, the girl with pigtails suddenly asked: ”Kotonoha Katsura, is your sister like those super-powered people on TV?”

”No, she’s a Soul Reaper.” Kotonoha Katsura proudly stuck out her chest and said: ”She’s the end for these demons and monsters!”

”But, she doesn’t seem to have a scythe in her hand.” The girl with pigtails said, confused.

”Soul Reapers in our world don’t use scythes, they use swords.” Kotonoha Katsura patiently explained to her: ”Of course, my sister is still a trainee Soul Reaper, a pretty weak one.”

”Who’s strong then?”

”My brother-in-law, of course! I saw him cut an American airplane carrier in half with one slash, and the sea was split open!”

”Oh, is he as strong as that Eastern Witch? I heard that the Eastern Witch destroyed the American Seventh Fleet once, killing more than ten thousand people with one slash!”

”Well... probably about the same?”

Kotonoha Katsura’s tone became a bit weak, because she knew that the Eastern Witch her friend was talking about was actually her brother-in-law. Back then, her brother-in-law used her sister’s body to destroy the entire American military base, and her sister was forced to take her away from their home.

But Kotonoha Katsura, even though she was young, knew very well that this was a secret that absolutely couldn’t be told. She wouldn’t let anything slip, unlike her silly sister who would tell all her secrets after just a few words.

Bam.

While Kotonoha Katsura was thinking this, the black girl in the middle had already been completely controlled by Katsura Kotonoha.

Even though the girl’s strength was far beyond ordinary people because she was possessed, she couldn’t cause any trouble against someone like Katsura Kotonoha, who was not human.

Binding Skill Number Sixty-One: Six Rod Prison!

Six petals of light stuck the black girl down, Katsura Kotonoha reached out and grabbed her wrist, and the hot power in her body surged out.

Sizzle.

The hot and strong energy entered the black girl’s body, like cold water poured on red-hot Iron Man armor. Black steam came out of the girl’s back and head.

The girl kept screaming sadly and angrily, but she couldn’t break free from the binding skill.

Bam.

It seemed like she reached a limit, and the girl’s body started shaking violently. A shadow quickly shot out from the top of her head, flying away into the distance.

”Trying to run?” Katsura Kotonoha raised an eyebrow and took out her sword from her personal space. She placed her right hand on the sword handle and swung it towards the direction the shadow was leaving.

Swoosh.

The sword light flashed, as fast as lightning.

The strong energy of the sword cut the shadow in half like cutting butter. And it kept going, heading straight for the roof of the abandoned factory.

Rumble.

A big explosion sounded, and a huge crack opened in the middle of the roof. Warm sunlight fell down, bringing more light than ever before to this dark abandoned factory.

Machete Girl: It really worked, that thing that took her over is gone!

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: That’s good, is she okay?

Machete Girl: Yeah, she’s fine.

She was mostly fine, the black girl’s body was stable. But because Katsura Kotonoha was a bit rough when she was controlling her, the girl’s arms and legs were clearly twisted and out of shape.

But even so, the yellow paper on her forehead didn’t fall off, so the scene looked pretty spooky.

Doujin Artist: As expected, we still have to rely on Anzen in the end.

Scarlet Lotus Fairy: Yeah, at least we didn’t think of using that hot power to stop the evil. And it actually worked.

Lazy Kitten: Don’t just talk about you guys, even I didn’t think of it. I used my special move to press down on Old Man Ye, but I didn’t think of having Kotonoha use this way to get rid of evil.

Curly-haired Guy: So you guys are still too young.

Doujin Artist: You didn’t think of it either, why do you have the right to say us?

Amegakure Village’s Angel: I’m curious, why did Kotonoha’s sister’s classmate try to contact spirits? Was she being used by some evil group? ℴℴ𝘮

Machete Girl: Nah, there’s no big conspiracy. These kids just like urban legends. They saw on the internet that this method of contacting spirits worked, so they decided to try it. They just messed around and it backfired.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: Speaking of which, I like these kinds of things too. I tried to call that tall woman urban legend when I was in Academy City. Luckily, that urban legend is fake. (Expression: facepalm)

Doujin Artist: The human heart is always looking to mess around and cause problems.

Shark-Faced Guy: Speaking of messing around, the people from another world over here seem to be ready to keep making mistakes. He seems like he’s getting ready to attack the Akatsuki group.
