Chapter 104 - 104: The Death of Yin Zhiping

”You think you can stop me?”

Li Mochou twisted her body and swung her sword in the direction of Guo Jing and Qiu Chuji. A flash of silver burst forth with a gust of sword energy.

Not daring to be careless, Guo Jing quickly gathered his inner power and sent a powerful palm strike toward the incoming sword energy. The sound of dragons roared through the air.

Qiu Chuji, Wang Chuyi, and the others didn’t dare to block it alone. They worked together and formed a sword formation to face her.

*Pfft.*

Blood sprayed into the air.

Guo Jing staggered back several steps, his right palm bleeding nonstop. As for the Seven Masters of Quanzhen, they didn’t fare much better — their swords were broken, and they all had cuts and wounds on their bodies.

Shocked.

Everyone who witnessed the scene was completely stunned, mouths wide open in disbelief.

You’ve got to be kidding, right?

That was the famous Guo Jing, the great hero, together with the Seven Masters of Quanzhen — eight people in total — and even they couldn’t take one strike from the Scarlet Lotus Fairy?

”You still want to fight?” Li Mochou spun her sword hilt casually in her hand and looked at Guo Jing and the others with a cold expression.

What an arrogant demon woman!

The faces of the Quanzhen disciples turned ugly. No one had ever dared to speak to them like that. But deep down, they had to admit — this woman was unbelievably strong.

Their Seven-Star Sword Formation, even back in the day, would’ve given their master Wang Chongyang — the best in the world — some trouble. Yet this woman had shattered it with just a single strike.

Could it be that her skill had already surpassed even their master? That couldn’t be. That was impossible!

They didn’t want to believe it, but the harsh truth was right in front of them.

Compared to them, Guo Jing stayed much calmer. He cupped his hands toward Li Mochou and said, ”Miss Li, your sword skills are truly unmatched. I’m impressed. But the killing today has gone too far. Can you stop here?”

”No.” Li Mochou smiled lightly and said, ”If I’ve decided he has to die, then he dies today.” Her eyes glanced toward Huodu, still running off in the distance.

”Arrogant!”

”As long as we’re here, you won’t get away with this!”

The Quanzhen disciples were full of anger. Even if they couldn’t win with their fists, they wouldn’t lose with their words.

”Get away with what?”

Li Mochou sneered and said, ”That Mongol prince came here to stir up trouble, and you just turned a blind eye. Now you’re stopping me from killing him? Who’s really in the wrong here? Besides, do you really think you can stop me?”

As she finished, she pulled something out from her robe. In front of their stunned faces, she revealed a silver Desert Eagle pistol. Holding it in her left hand, she pulled the trigger.

*Bang.*

A thunderous blast.

Huodu, who had already run over a hundred meters away, froze in place. He looked down slowly and saw a fist-sized hole in his chest.

*Thud.*

Everything went black, and Huo Du collapsed to the ground.

Dead? Is he dead?

Everyone stared in shock, their faces filled with fear. What was that? A hidden weapon? But what kind of hidden weapon could be that powerful?

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: She pulled a gun! Sister Mochou actually pulled a gun! That’s cheating!

Doujin Artist: Who cares about fairness, just have fun. Look at their faces, hahahaha!

Curly-haired Guy: They’re totally confused! They have no idea what that thing in Mochou-chan’s hand is! This is what it looks like when modern weapons just crush everything!

This is an Actor: Man, this is the perfect moment to say, ”Times have changed.”

Machete Girl: Sister Mochou hasn’t put the gun away. Is she going to keep killing?

Amegakure Village’s Angel: Of course. There’s still something even more disgusting she hasn’t dealt with yet.

On screen—

Li Mochou ignored all the shocked, frightened stares around her and calmly walked toward the second-generation disciples of the Quanzhen Sect.

”You—what are you going to do now?” Qiu Chuji gathered his courage and shouted.

Without even looking at him, Li Mochou walked straight up to a young Taoist and stood in front of him. She asked softly, ”Yin Zhiping?”

”I am, and you are—”

Bang.

Before he could finish, half his head was blown off. Red and white matter splattered everywhere.

Stunned silence.

Everyone was once again frozen in shock.

At this point, most of them were convinced that what the Scarlet Lotus Fairy was holding wasn’t some hidden weapon—it had to be a magic tool! Only something legendary like that could be this terrifying!

”You... how dare you... You demon! I’ll fight you to the death!” Qiu Chuji yelled, his heart burning with rage as he watched his beloved disciple get killed. He raised his broken sword and charged at Li Mochou.

Bang.

Another gunshot.

Qiu Chuji froze in place. His broken sword clattered to the ground, and he slowly looked down. Not far in front of him, the ground had a deep crater, still letting off wisps of smoke.

”You’ve got guts,” Li Mochou said with a playful look, holding up her gun. ”Care to take one more step and see what happens?”

”I... you...” All his courage vanished, and Qiu Chuji’s face turned red.

”Hmph. You call yourselves righteous? What a joke.” Li Mochou sneered and blew on the barrel of her gun. Her pretty peach-blossom eyes swept across the crowd coldly. ”If you want revenge, come find me in the tomb.” She turned around, her light yellow Taoist robe fluttering in the wind.

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: So cool! Sister Mochou is seriously awesome!

Curly-haired Guy: Huh? Weren’t you just saying she wasn’t playing fair?

Skirt-Flipping Maniac: That doesn’t stop me from liking her!

Doujin Artist: That turn at the end—beautiful and badass. I love this version of Sister Mochou. The action was great, too, and the tomb setting looked really nice. I just wish there was a little less blood splatter flying everywhere.

This is an Actor: Are you writing a movie review over there?
