The Genius Evolution Store

Inside the hotel, a mysterious man said, ”Yes, sir. We’ve confirmed that Auric Elfe is a gold-grade evolution master. His dark element has reached Rank 3.”

”Our plan hasn’t changed. Since there’s an opportunity present, we will proceed according to the original plan. I need Auric Elfe to be brought to me, alive.”

”Understood, Director.”

He hung up with a cold face and walked back to where he was supposed to work.

...

The media were filled with the news about Auric. Auric was the current youngest gold-grade evolution master.

People were seeking whether this was the truth or not, but their doubt disappeared after the video of his test was released.

Although Auric was using makeup, as soon as Auric pulled down the mask, his face would become clear. After all, Auric’s face was quite distinguished.

In the end, they confirmed that Auric had indeed become a gold-grade evolution master, and he wasn’t an ordinary one.

[This is amazing. Right now, our country is the one with the most talented evolution master, not Granda.]

[Hehehe. They’ve been flexing Nicholas, but the title is gone.]

[So, he has been cheating all this time?]

[What cheating? All the events scheduled in the training program didn’t have any restriction on their strength.]

Some were trying to lower Auric’s achievements with every possible reason, but Esfrata’s citizens were firing back.

Supervisor Jacob was smiling from ear to ear. He could finally reveal that information. More importantly, Auric’s existence had elevated their country’s standing to a whole new level.

As long as Auric could continue to grow, there would be someone who could not only fight like other Rank 7 humans but was also good at helping people evolve.

Auric, on the other hand, didn’t care about his current reputation. It was good, but he didn’t care much about it because this reputation just brought him to an even more dangerous situation.

Other countries would be more inclined to eliminate him. People were trying to monopolize him. If he played his cards incorrectly, he might end up incurring a massive loss.

Nevertheless, he had revealed his lightning, wind, earth, plant, dark, and unique elements.

He could still make another surprise by using his fire, water, and light elements. However, with six elements already appearing, it wouldn’t be weird for others to speculate that he already had all the elements.

They couldn’t prove it, but they would be wary of his other elements.

Because Auric had decided to forfeit the ranking competition, the competition became less exciting. All of them thought Auric would dominate this competition. There were a few competitors, but they might still lose.

Without Auric, the competition became a bit fiercer. In the end, Lech-Aistia won the Rank 2 Competition.

”It’s such a shame that you didn’t join this competition, or you would have won. In fact, if you had just joined the evolution master competition as a silver-grade evolution master, you could have won that as well.” Katarina shook her head helplessly.

”I don’t have a need for an empty trophy. The reward is good, but it’s not exactly something I need. If I want it, I can always buy it.” Auric shook his head. ”It’s different for you. You need to perform well if you really want to become a student council president.”

”Right? If I can do this, I can overthrow the student council president, whose position is already shaken because of you, and become the first student council president who is still in her third year.” She smirked.

Katarina was happy if she could really get a high rank here. After all, that would also make her career within the family smoother.

No one would be able to question her abilities anymore.

”But right now, it’s the Rank 3 competition.” Auric raised his head, looking at the brackets.

”Yeah. Look at that.” Katarina smiled before turning to Vera. ”Aren’t you in luck, Vera? You are going to face Clarice in your first battle.”

”...” Vera narrowed her eyes. It would be a difficult fight, but she intended to win.

”By the way, where is Ellia?” Katarina looked around, noticing Ellia was missing.

”She’s already gone, actually, right after the Rank 2 competition is over.” Vera looked away while chuckling.

”Well, she is fighting in the first match, so understandable.” Katarina shrugged.

As they said, Ellia was in the first match.

The referee was already calling her name since they couldn’t waste too much time.

”Ellia Stroph Astler. Erwin Cardison.”

Ellia walked onto the stage first, as she was ready to finish this match quickly.

Meanwhile, Erwin walked onto the stage a minute later. Seeing Ellia already waiting for him on the stage, Erwin couldn’t help but say, ”Well, well. To think I will be facing a beauty like you. It’s a shame that I have to crush a beauty like you, but it can’t be helped, right?

”Unless, perhaps, you want to spend some time with me in another place? I don’t mind conceding this match.” Erwin grinned. ”It must be hard for you to even participate in this competition due to your element. I can understand that. You must want to win as many times as possible. What do you think?”

Ellia drew her blade, saying nothing. ”Please begin the match. We can’t waste too much time, Referee.”

The guy’s eyebrows twitched.

The referee looked at both of them first before raising his hand. ”The match begins!”

”Hahahaha. Try to cut a diamond!” Erwin grinned and covered his entire body with a diamond, showing why he was so confident in facing Ellia. Erwin intended to use the hardness of the diamond to withstand all of Ellia’s power.

However, Ellia disappeared right after the start of the match.

When he finished his words, Ellia was no longer in front of him.

’Where is she?’ Erwin widened his eyes and tried to look around. To his surprise, he heard Ellia’s voice coming from behind.

”Your transformation is the same as your mouth. Both took too much time to finish.” Ellia was already sheathing her sword.

”!!!” Erwin hurriedly turned around, but before he could finish his spin, several big cuts appeared on his body. Those slashes were actually on his flesh.

Blood spurted as Erwin spat a mouthful of blood before his eyes rolled back and his body fell to the ground. The only thing on his mind was, ’What just happened?’

The referee was quite shocked by Ellia’s performance. It took him a few seconds before he regained his composure and announced, ”Ellia Stroph Astler from Esfrata wins!”

He wasn’t the only one who was shocked about it. The instructors from the five countries, including Esfrata, were shocked.

Even Supervisor Jacob remembered how Ellia fought back then, but he was certain that Ellia wasn’t at this level.

Suddenly, he realized something. ’What if Ellia had been holding back her power all this time, including the time in front of the instructor?’

Clarice narrowed her eyes while holding her sword tightly. ’Ellia Stroph Astler...’

Maya smiled, ’She is good. She activated her ability at such a high speed while maintaining her accuracy. In the end, she finished cutting that guy before he even finished his transformation.’

”Tsk.” Vera clicked her tongue. ”I can still defeat her.”

Katarina facepalmed, impressed. ”I forget that Ellia is known as a devil child. While it’s true that it’s because she usually crushed her business opposition, it all stemmed from her talent.

”No matter which competition she entered, she would dominate everything and end the battle in the quickest way possible, even if that meant humiliating her opponents who had put so much effort into their training but couldn’t show it.”

Auric simply smiled. There was one thing that everyone had forgotten. Ellia’s talent could be said to be the best in her generation. If not for the fact that she possessed a unique element, she would be recognized worldwide.

And the biggest problem was that Ellia had to spend 60% to 70% of her time managing her business.

Arina knew this and chose to shoulder that burden for her, reducing the time she needed to spend on her business down to 30%.

In other words, Ellia basically had twice the time she usually had to grow stronger.

Arina, who was watching the livestream, couldn’t help but smile. There were piles of documents in front of her, but she couldn’t help but stop for a moment to watch this moment.

She still remembered how she had met Ellia in the past.

Back then, she was just a small kid who had just moved to the capital city.

Because she didn’t know the area well, she ended up encountering some thugs.

”Oi, oi. Isn’t this a cute kid? Should we kidnap her? I bet she’s going to fetch quite a lot.” He smiled.

”I-I am...” Arina looked around. She wanted to go back, but she suddenly hit a person. There was another one preventing her from leaving the alley.

Arina panicked, not knowing what to do. Her face turned pale.

All of a sudden, the person behind her had his head kicked from behind.

”!!!”

Arina and the others were startled.

”Another kid?”

”Just grab them both!”

Ellia tossed the lid of the trash can she had grabbed before attacking, causing the thugs to become disorganized. Then, she leaped toward them and punched one in the face before kicking the other in the stomach.

”You!” The last man tried to catch Ellia, but Ellia smoothly spun her body to avoid him and pushed him toward Arina. ”Hey, you. Hit him in the nuts!”

Arina panicked and just punched the man in the nuts like Ellia told her, causing the man to clutch his crotch while falling to his knees.

”Aaahhhh!” The man gritted his teeth. ”You bitch. Capture them!”

The other three turned serious as they released their energy.

”See that, Bernard?” Ellia smiled.

”I’ve indeed witnessed everything, young lady.” An old man in a suit nodded. He suddenly disappeared. The next thing they realized, all four thugs had their faces already buried in the concrete.

Arina was stunned, while Ellia was simply saying, ”Hey you. Don’t you know this place is dangerous? Why are you so dumb? Don’t tell me, you don’t know what this place is?”

Arina shook her head furiously.

”Just came to the capital city?”

Arina nodded.

”Well, I guess I need the opinion of a kid who doesn’t know anything about the capital city. You’re a perfect person. Come with me.” Ellia harrumphed.

What Arina didn’t know at the time was that after they were gone, the man in the suit killed the thugs and made their bodies disappear. When Arina learned this, she finally understood why Ellia was known as a devil child.

That was the first time they had met each other. Ellia was cold and bossy at the start, just like when she met Auric.

However, after getting to know her better, both of them realized Ellia was surprisingly gentle and caring.

Arina closed her eyes while smiling, ”Now that her limiter is gone, the devil child has finally returned.”
