Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 377: Bella Is Trying To Sow Conflict Again

Nancy gritted her teeth and said, ”Once I can earn my own money, I won’t have to put up with their family’s attitude anymore.”

Seeing that she finally agreed, Luis let out a long sigh of relief. He gently stroked her face to further consolidate the effect, murmuring tenderly:

”That’s right. I’m only doing this because of one simple wish. I don’t want to see you suffer any more injustice.”

These heartfelt words moved Nancy deeply. Her social circle was brutally realistic and exceptionally materialistic. Sweet talk alone could hardly ever touch their hearts; it was practically a daydream.

But if you first showered them with real gold and silver, then followed it with tender words, it became a nuclear-level bombardment, who could possibly withstand that?

Especially since she already had preconceived notions. Though she had looked down on Luis, she still saw this brother-in-law as an honest man. When an honest man spoke such words, the emotional impact multiplied exponentially.

”But this isn’t fair to you. I’m already married... I don’t deserve all this...”

As Nancy spoke, her hand also moved tenderly, stroking Luis’s cheek with genuine feeling.

”You are the most perfect treasure in this world. Anything I do for you is worth it. Besides... I’m a bad man. Having an affair with my sister-in-law... that sounds even more thrilling, doesn’t it?”

Nancy thought for a moment and said, ”Let me calculate how much I’ll need. Whatever is left over, I’ll transfer back to you later.”

”No need, ”

Luis immediately cut her off. He had finally gotten a chance to spend money to boost his savings reserve, there was no way he would let her return any of it.

”Don’t be so rigid. You still need some cash on hand for flexibility. You wouldn’t really wait until you’re desperate for money to ask Daniel for it, would you?”

Seeing Nancy nod thoughtfully, Luis leaned close and blew warm breath into her ear, teasingly whispering:

”As for what’s left... keep it for yourself. Spend it. Beauty treatments, gym memberships, they all cost money. And if you come across any sexy lingerie... don’t hold back. Just buy it.”

”You pervert...”

Nancy’s face flushed peach-pink, looking utterly enchanting. She gave him a seductively reproachful glance and said in a coquettish tone, ”I was actually really touched just now, but you had to go and ruin the mood with such vulgar talk.”

”Hehe, well, now that I’m playing the sugar daddy, it wouldn’t do to be too much of a gentleman.”

Luis smiled with satisfaction. Seeing her finally settle down, he inwardly sighed in relief. Damn, it was really hard to spend this money.

The main issue was their existing relationship, and the emotions that had developed alongside it. Forget her; even in purely transactional arrangements like with Blanche and Chloe, if you threw too much money at them all at once, they’d be frightened off.

Keeping a mistress... was a damn skill in itself. It took effort and mental energy.

The taxi stopped at the entrance of her residential complex. Nancy had called ahead and learned that Daniel wasn’t home yet; he was still talking with a relative.

That guy Daniel might lack perception, but at least he had some self-awareness. He knew his relationship with Luis wasn’t great, so he probably didn’t hold out much hope of actually borrowing the money.

That’s why he was making multiple preparations. To put it bluntly, Daniel was dead-set on this, he’d probably already prepared to cry, make a scene, threaten suicide, and squeeze money out of his parents if needed.

Luis couldn’t help wondering: Did Daniel dare to ask him because he knew Luis was having an affair with his wife?

The ridiculous part was that Daniel was already inside the community. He rushed out as soon as he got the call, reminding Luis that almost all of Daniel’s relatives lived in this same complex.

Daniel stood there dressed in a suit, and he actually carried the imposing aura of a domineering CEO. Even with his slicked hair and powdered face, one had to admit the guy really had the looks.

Luis thought maliciously: With his qualities, once he fully transitioned into being gay, he’d probably be the most popular guy in the room.

Once he arrived, all of Luis’s wicked plans were put on hold.

”You talk to him yourself. Distribute shares based on investment. Don’t worry, you can be the major shareholder.”

In the car, Luis continued painting a rosy picture, saying, ”Big sister, don’t have any reservations. I am your strongest backup.”

Luis almost said it outright: Go ahead and dream big. Hopefully Daniel has extraordinary talent in this field, and then you, in your excitement, will start giving random orders and messing things up.

By then, when the losses pile up, I’ll cover them for you, and that’ll mean even more savings for me. Just thinking about it feels wonderful.

Nancy was so moved that her eyes nearly glistened with tears. Her voice softened into a tender, silken tone as she said, ”Brother-in-law... but this is so unfair to you.”

”It’s fine. As long as you’re happy, I’m happy. Don’t underestimate my feelings for you, alright?”

Luis spoke softly, ”Remember: This is money from younger sister to older sister. It has nothing to do with me or Daniel.”

”If you lend it to Daniel and then get divorced, it’ll all go up in smoke. That’s a very practical excuse, you don’t need to carry any psychological burden over this.”

”Whether it’s a loan or a gift, it has nothing to do with that guy surnamed Zhang. Not a single cent of this money concerns him, understand?”

”You know what Daniel is like. Would he really go ask Lily about it? So don’t pressure yourself.”

Luis continued to provoke and brainwash her, all to make her accept his money with a clear conscience.

”Luis, won’t you come up for a bit?”

The two got out of the car together. Daniel was unusually enthusiastic, it was probably the first time since knowing him that Luis had ever felt such warmth from the man.

”No, I’ve got things to do!”

Luis smiled and said, ”Brother-in-law, you two go ahead, don’t mind me. I happen to have some business nearby anyway; I’ll just walk over.”

”Oh, okay. I’ll call you when there’s good news.”

Daniel spoke cheerfully. As Nancy went upstairs with him, her expression was completely normal, only when she glanced back did her eyes hold a trace of reluctance.

Originally, Luis had intended to complete the stockings-and-foot-job task, but seeing how emotionally turbulent his sister-in-law was, today clearly wasn’t the right opportunity, so he let it go.

Since she had just gotten her hands on that over seventy thousand dollars, her mind was entirely focused on that. It was better to just let her run with it.

The icy beauty, the aloof and sophisticated older sister, this sister-in-law who had always seemed like an untouchable fairy now, for the first time, had real confidence to be more than just a pretty face. Luis couldn’t spoil her excitement.

Just after leaving, he received a call from Bella.

”Luis, aren’t you being a bit distant? Even though our Leon family has internal conflicts, at least with the Taiga family as an external threat, we Leon folks are still somewhat united.”

”When you visited our flagship store, you could’ve at least given me a heads-up. My brother called me in a complete panic.”

”That idle playboy was actually nervous for once, when he called me, he sounded almost like a different person.”

Her tone was light, almost joking, deliberately friendly and casual as if trying to close the distance like old friends would.

But Luis didn’t give her a pleasant look in return. He snorted dismissively and said, ”That really wasn’t necessary. Had I known it was your family’s business, I wouldn’t have even glanced at it.”

”I’m just an ordinary guy. I don’t want to get involved with any of you in the slightest.”

”As for President Leon’s little scheme of using others to fight your battles... I’m still quite uneasy about that.”

Every time he spoke to her, Luis’s tone never held any courtesy. It wasn’t even veiled sarcasm, it was direct confrontation, the kind that aimed straight for the face.
