Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 354: A Bit Of An Overstatement

Luis did not engage in any excessive actions, not even touching her breast or buttocks under the covers. He simply held his sister-in-law Leah tightly, gazing affectionately into her lively, star-like eyes.

”The skin is a bit broken, and it even bled a little.”

”Ah...”

Maria’s voice chimed in from the side, ”Did you go to the hospital to get it checked?”

Yana, standing nearby, added with a professional tone, ”Exactly. Broken skin is one thing, but you must be careful about infection. Don’t take it lightly. At least you should disinfect it before bandaging the wound.”

Although they were all kept in the dark, they were all women connected to him.

Seeing them so concerned now warmed Luis’s heart and gave him a wonderfully satisfying sense of achievement.

After the mother and daughter spoke, Leah grew even more anxious. Being held so warmly by her brother-in-law had already made her feel somewhat intoxicated.

Her brother-in-law remained still and gentlemanly, and even though that thing was hard, it wasn’t pressed against her. This thoughtful care instantly made her feel like she had been too excessive.

If it weren’t for her, her brother-in-law wouldn’t have encountered such an incident. Something her sister and mother deeply detested, yet her brother-in-law still indulged her. Acting like this now would just make her seem like a pretentious bitch.

”It’s fine. Leah happened to be on break today, so she accompanied me to the hospital.”

”You went to the hospital?? What did the doctor say??”

Lily sounded a bit tense upon hearing this.

Luis continued in a joking tone, ”The doctor said it was lucky I came early, otherwise it would have healed on its own. Just two or three small cuts. They stitched them up with one or two stitches to make it look better.”

”That’s good. Remember to disinfect it properly.”

Lily let out a long sigh of relief but still worriedly advised, ”Aunt Yana is going back tomorrow. Let her take care of it for you; I’d feel more at ease that way.”

”Okay!”

Because Leah was present, and not wanting to tarnish his noble image in her eyes, Luis didn’t continue the conversation, afraid that his wife might reveal his relationship with Yana.

After urging her to rest early, Luis hung up, tossed his phone aside, licked his lips, and said, ”Leah, sleep with your brother-in-law tonight.”

”No, I’m not used to it!!”

Leah could already feel her brother-in-law’s hard thing pressing against her thigh through his underwear. Although she was an untouched virgin, that didn’t mean she knew nothing.

The sister-in-law blushed bright red. This time, with the agility of a little rabbit, she pulled her skirt down properly and jumped off the bed.

She ran to the doorway, made a face at Luis, and then said playfully, ”Brother-in-law, you big pervert, you definitely have ulterior motives. We have to get up early tomorrow, so you should just go to sleep now.”

With that, she ran back to her room. This time, Luis didn’t insist, as they truly did need to get up early the next day to visit Avery.

The doctor had already confirmed it was nothing serious. Given her strong reaction, it was unclear what she had taken; most likely it was some kind of hallucinogenic drug like ecstasy.

Luis was worried about that bastard David.

After all, he was Dominic’s son. Used to being arrogant and domineering, he definitely wouldn’t let such a huge loss slide after suffering such a setback.

Closing his eyes, Luis opened the System backpack. Only two blind boxes remained now.

He needed to save these two for emergencies. Luis gritted his teeth, considering whether to open one, but ultimately gave up, as he had no idea if the item inside would even be useful.

There was also the Aphrodisiac Incense (Male).

Aphrodisiac Incense (Male): Control effect lasts two hours, effective only on males.

Luis was even contemplating whether to use this on David, to control him into committing suicide or something, which would be safer.

After all, dealing with the spoiled young master of a local mafia family was something Luis could never have afforded to provoke in the past. Someone like that could crush him as easily as squashing an ant.

Early the next morning, Leah knocked loudly on the door. As a high school student, her sleep schedule was impeccable.

After washing up, he went with her to the hospital, arriving just in time for the doctor’s morning rounds.

Avery was already awake and in very good spirits. After some checkups and a blood draw, they were just waiting for the results. If everything was fine, she could be discharged and go home directly.

”Avery, how are you feeling!”

Leah sat by the hospital bed, holding her hand with a pained expression.

Avery, however, was much more cheerful and chuckled, ”Don’t give me that long face. I’m totally fine. Don’t look like we’re saying our final goodbyes, okay.”

”Speaking of which, what a coincidence, brother-in-law! I never thought you’d know my mom.”

Avery’s words carried a hint of complexity.

Blanche smiled warmly and said, ”Yes, Mom used to teach her older sister. I never imagined the world could be so small.”

The lighthearted conversation proved that things weren’t too serious. The blood test results came back quickly too; all indicators were normal, so she could be discharged.

As for what exactly she took last night, it was clearly nothing good, but there was no need to investigate further.

After packing up and reaching the hospital entrance, Blanche checked the time and said softly, ”Avery, do you want to go home and rest or go to Leah’s place? Mom has to go to the renovation company today to discuss the tiles...”

Before she could finish her awkward explanation, Avery said understandingly, ”Mom, you go ahead with your work. I’m fine. I’ll just go back to school with Leah this afternoon.”

It seemed like a scene of a loving mother and dutiful daughter, but the observant Luis detected a slight sense of distance between them.

It seemed Blanche was right; she had always been quite busy, never settling down in one place, and hadn’t been able to accompany her daughter much, which created some gap between her and her teenage daughter.

Fortunately, Avery wasn’t particularly rebellious and didn’t have any other major issues; otherwise, this single-parent household would definitely be in constant turmoil.

”You go ahead with your work. I’ll take them this afternoon.”

Luis also spoke up.

Blanche hesitated for a moment, then sighed and left first. Only then did Luis drive the two beautiful girls away from the hospital.

As soon as she got in the car, Avery regained her energy and said with a laugh, ”Brother-in-law, I heard you charged in alone to save us last night!”

”Saying I charged in to save you is a bit of an overstatement; it was more like charging in to get beaten up.”

Luis focused on driving, replying in a joking tone, ”Heroically saving beauties has its difficulties too. It’s true, showing off always comes with a price.”

They complained they were hungry, and since it was almost noon, they went to a nice dim sum restaurant downstairs in the community.

After ordering various dim sum items, Luis, who wasn’t in the habit of drinking tea, and the two young girls, who clearly hadn’t reached the age to appreciate it, found themselves at a loss.

The dim sum restaurant didn’t offer free tea. As for those fancy teas like ”green stalk tea” or the highly-touted varieties, they had no idea what was so great about them.
