Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 357: David Might Cause Dominic Death

In that instant, Luis was already moving. Sitting idly by and waiting for death was impossible; he still held a grudge over the losses he had suffered last night.

He had already activated his specialized combat skills. Last night, with so many people and the chaotic situation, suffering a disadvantage was unavoidable. But now, with only these two little bastards present, Luis naturally saw no reason to hold back.

Taking advantage of David’s momentary panic, Luis swiftly grabbed the hand holding the switchblade from the side.

”You... Ah...”

Before anyone in the hospital room could even react, Luis had already executed a flawless backhand grapple, seizing his arm. With a sudden, powerful twist, he wrenched the joint.

David immediately let out a sharp cry of pain, the switchblade clattering to the floor. Luis followed up with a fierce, tiger-like pounce, using a grappling hold to force his entire weight forward, pressing him down.

The young master David was instantly slammed face-first onto the ground, eating dirt, his arm painfully twisted behind his back, making him cry out in agony.

In the same moment he took him down, Luis smoothly kicked the switchblade far under the hospital bed, his movements fluid and seamless.

”Fuck your mother, you’re looking for death...”

Hail was completely stunned. He never expected that faced with such reckless, ignorant young thugs, Luis would strike first with such ruthless efficiency, his movements crisp and effortlessly flowing.

The blond guy, after a moment of stunned delay, finally reacted. Though he seemed rather slow, he cursed angrily and swung the baseball bat down with force.

These hotheaded brutes never knew their own strength when they attacked. Luis dodged sideways, and the solid blow landed squarely on David’s lower back.

David immediately curled up like a shrimp, his eyes bulging with utter disbelief. In an instant, his face turned deathly pale, the pain so intense he couldn’t even make a sound.

Seeing he had accidentally injured his own ally, the blond guy froze in shock.

Before he could recover, Luis, who was fully prepared, swept his legs out from under him with a low kick, sending him sprawling face-first into the ground. He disarmed the guy in the process and yanked the little bastard down, pinning him on top of David.

A vintage Mercedes-Benz with the license plate 3333 pulled up at the entrance of the First Municipal Hospital. When Dominic got out of the car, his face was a mask of panic, mixed with fury and anxiety.

Stumbling slightly, he hurried towards the security office. Pushing the door open, he saw several security guards standing ready, looking stern.

His son David, and his blond nephew, were both lying on the floor, tightly bound and trussed up.

The moment Dominic entered, David immediately started yelling, ”Dad, save me! Damn it, I’m going to kill these bastards!”

Dominic felt a throbbing pain at his temples. Just then, he noticed Hail standing off to the side. Hail looked back at him with an icy expression, devoid of any professional, polite smile.

Dominic quickly forced an ingratiating smile and scurried over. ”Secretary Hail, you’re here too. There must be some misunderstanding.”

Hail spoke slowly and deliberately. ”A misunderstanding? It doesn’t seem like it. Your son specifically instructed the billing department to notify him immediately if Luis returned for a follow-up examination or to have his stitches removed.”

”This...”

Dominic was momentarily speechless. Hail then smiled and pointed at the items on the table. ”Boss Dominic, your son certainly seems to have the spirit of a Gang Member.”

A baseball bat, a switchblade, a set of brass knuckles were bad enough, but there was also a pair of nunchaku—it was ridiculously childish to the extreme.

What made Dominic’s scalp crawl the most was a small bag containing some brightly colored pills that clearly looked like nothing good.

Feeling the world spin around him, Dominic grabbed the table for support. A tight, painful pressure built in his chest, making it hard to breathe. His eyes bloodshot, he spat out, ”You bastards... you two little beasts...”

”Boss Dominic, you seem unwell. The Tiger Real Estate group is in the middle of liquidation proceedings. You can’t afford to collapse now.”

Hail walked over, his tone still as calm and detached as still water. ”We won’t report this to the police. Handle it yourself, Boss Dominic. But you should know, even the leadership’s patience has its limits.”

”Control them properly. If they do anything this foolish again...”

With that, Hail turned and left.

Dominic gritted his teeth in fury. He knew perfectly well that if it weren’t for this critical juncture involving the division of assets between the Taiga family and the Leon family within Tiger Real Estate, Hail would never have let this slide so easily.

Looking at his two profligate sons still shouting and causing a scene, he felt so enraged he grew dizzy, even feeling the urge to vomit blood. His health was already poor, and this fury was enough to land him in the hospital right then and there.

He called his trusted subordinates to take the two rebellious sons to a hospital room. Lying there pale, receiving an IV drip, it took him a long time to recover somewhat.

The two were still bound. Seeing Dominic in this state, they didn’t dare to make a sound, answering whatever questions he asked promptly and fully.

”You worthless fools! Look at the fine mess you’ve made!”

Dominic seethed with hatred. These were people they could afford to offend? Let alone someone at the very top of the food chain like Sebastian Ye.

Further down, even someone like Waller, or even his secretary, Hail—when he or Bella encountered them, they had to speak politely and respectfully, never daring to put on airs.

Brandishing weapons, resorting to violence right in front of Secretary Hail... If this got back to Sebastian Ye’s ears, it would be disastrous. Even just reaching Waller would be enough to cause him immense trouble.

Especially now, at this crucial moment, when they had finally managed to gain a slight advantage, these two little beasts had to pull such a stupid stunt.

David yelled, ”Dad, he didn’t even suffer any loss! I’m the one who lost face so badly! What more does he want?”

”You...!”

Seeing his son so utterly ignorant of the seriousness of the situation, Dominic coughed, actually bringing up blood. Just then, his secretary approached, handed him a phone, and whispered, ”Boss, it’s President Bella on the line.”

After all, it was a marriage of convenience, not a real union. They had never been true husband and wife, only wanting the outside world to see the tight cooperation between the Taiga and Leon families at that time.

So David was very unfamiliar with this stepmother. Others also addressed her as ’President Bella,’ never using terms like ’the boss’s wife’ or ’madam.’

”This is your doing. Why did you only tell me this morning?”

Answering the phone, Dominic coughed and spoke in a hoarse, strained voice. ”And he knew exactly where that kid Luis was. Don’t try to tell me that has nothing to do with you.”

”Darling, you mustn’t slander an innocent person.”

In her luxurious, imposing CEO office, Bella sipped her coffee with evident amusement, a soft laugh in her voice. ”A stepmother is still a mother!”

”Your son brought people to raise hell in our hotel. It’s only out of consideration that we didn’t call the police on him. Last night, I even sent someone to take him for treatment.”

”As for this morning, he sneaked away. There was nothing I could do.”

”The boy was afraid you’d worry and begged me to keep it secret. I felt sorry for him and agreed for a moment.”

Dominic was so angry he felt like vomiting blood. ”And what happened just now? Don’t tell me you knew nothing about that!”

”You have relatives working at the First Municipal Hospital yourself; how can you blame me for this? Of course, I heard about the huge commotion. Pulling a knife in a hospital takes a special kind of stupid ruthlessness.”

Bella set down her coffee cup and remarked lightly, ”Darling, I think if Luis is unharmed, Waller probably won’t pursue this too harshly against you.”

”However, your son is certainly capable of causing trouble. There’s something I really must tell you now. Take a look at this video first.”
