Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 374: Buying Car Worth Quarter Million

”I didn’t have a car to drive anymore, so I wanted to pick up a vehicle that was immediately available. I happened to see this one and really liked it. I was thinking of paying a premium to get it, but they said it already had an owner.”

Luis sat directly on the hood, acting quite arrogantly, and continued:

”I truly didn’t know the car was reserved for President Dominic’s son. If I had known, I would have looked at other options. How could I have had the nerve to make you give up something you cherished?”

Leon was already laughing to himself. He was a shrewd man, and just from this polite manner of speaking, he could tell this person’s status was at least on par with Dominic’s.

The greatest trait of a true cunning magnate is the ability to bend and adapt as needed.

Dominic hadn’t wanted Leon to feel too pleased earlier, but now his attitude had completely changed. His tone was so gentle it felt like a soothing spring breeze.

Dominic immediately said, ”Don’t be so formal. If I had known it was you, there wouldn’t have been any need for all those words earlier.”

”If you’ve taken a liking to that car, just drive it away. Give your phone to Leon, and I’ll have someone deliver the final payment tonight.”

”Forget about compensation or deposit losses. As long as you’re satisfied, that’s all that matters.”

These words left not only the three women present utterly stunned, but even Leon was dumbfounded. Since when had Dominic become so subservient, almost like a sycophant?

Luis promptly said, ”No, that won’t do. If you agree, I’ll purchase it. This is a gift for someone, I can’t possibly let you pay for it.”

What a joke! A gift from someone else couldn’t be added to his sister-in-law’s dedicated savings fund within the System. Only expenditures made directly from his own account would count.

That was the rule set by the System, and Luis didn’t want to miss such a perfect opportunity. He had no intention of accepting this messy favor.

Besides, it would appear even more impressive. Seeing the flicker of emotion in his ethereal sister-in-law’s eyes at that moment, Luis almost wished she would spend the entire ten million dollars in his account.

”Alright then, fine!”

Dominic didn’t press further, saying, ”Luis, if it’s a gift, I won’t argue with you. But since we’ve crossed paths like this, it must be fate.”

”If you won’t accept the car as a gift, you can’t possibly refuse to accept a small token of my goodwill, can you? Please don’t make me lose face completely.”

Luis chuckled upon hearing this. ”As long as President Dominic’s token isn’t too extravagant, that would be fine.”

”Yes, yes, of course. I understand. Could you please pass the phone to Leon? Thank you for the trouble.”

Leon was stupefied, utterly numb, his mind practically seizing up.

Since when had Dominic become so polite, even using phrases like ’thank you for the trouble’? Even if the old man had gone senile, he wouldn’t have degraded to this extent.

The women present were equally shocked. Why was this formidable figure being so exceedingly courteous?

He was offering to just give away a car worth two hundred thousand dollars, and yet Luis didn’t even want to accept the gesture. This level of sheer, uncompromising prestige was almost absurd.

Leon, somewhat dazed, took the phone. The call was still on speaker, and his movements as he took it were even slightly wooden.

”Leon, no wonder you value this so highly. This gentleman is indeed a major client.”

There was a tinge of sourness in those words, sounding oddly strange, almost like the tone of a woman feeling jealous.

Dominic continued, ”Don’t bother me with deposit compensations or anything like that. Don’t add any premiums either. Just let him take the car and leave.”

”Oh, and regarding those maintenance packages, send me the bill for whatever they cost. Also, give him a fuel card worth twenty thousand dollars... no, ten thousand is better, he might refuse twenty thousand...”

”For the interior, any other additions, including insurance, don’t charge him anything. Get everything done to the highest standard, and I’ll cover all the costs...”

Dominic was genuinely starting to sound a bit flustered. ”Alright, that’s enough, go and rest now!”

Before he could finish, Luis reached over and ended the call.

Leon listened, utterly dumbfounded.

Luis glanced at him and said, ”Ignore all that. Ten thousand. Bring a check over tomorrow.”

Leon was no fool. Hearing this, he understood exactly what was happening.

It meant the person before him was someone even Dominic felt the need to curry favor with. But judging by Luis’s demeanor, he had no intention of giving Dominic any opportunity. Their relative statuses were immediately clear.

Dominic’s phone rang again. He said to Leon:

”Leon, just do as he says. Whatever he instructs, you follow.”

”If you feel it’s not appropriate, call your sister and ask her. Let him drive the car away directly. Also, use your connections to get a good license plate from the capital. Whatever it costs, come to me for the money.”

Leon was completely numb. It was the first time he had ever witnessed this ruthless magnate being so verbose.

The three women present were equally stunned. Nancy was laughing with sheer delight, nestling against Luis’s arm with a look of intoxicated bliss, her entire face radiating the giddy feeling of a young girl experiencing her first crush.

”Don’t mind him. Just process the card payment.”

Luis took out his bank card, gazing at her with deep affection. ”Nancy, take out your ID card. This car will still be registered under your name.”

”Thank you, darling!!”

Nancy was completely immersed in the role now. She giggled, planted a kiss on Luis’s cheek, and hummed a little tune. ”Go on, swipe the card. What are you waiting for?”

”Yes, yes, of course. Please follow me.”

Leon, snapping back to reality, hurriedly spoke up.

Deewa’s eyes were practically burning with jealousy. It wasn’t just her; the other women’s hearts were also churning with sour envy, their faces a mask of pure, jealousy, and resentment.

Having worked here for a long time, they had seen wealthy clients before, but it was rare to encounter someone who spent money on a woman so lavishly. Who wouldn’t wish to meet such a generous sugar daddy?

In the VIP area, Luis only handled signing and card swiping. Nancy took care of all the other paperwork.

Deewa knew perfectly well how humiliating and self-defeating this was, but she still followed them over.

She clenched her silver teeth, praying fervently that at the last moment, Luis would change his mind, or that the card would be declined.

She prayed that Nancy would end up utterly humiliated; otherwise, she would be the one who couldn’t show her face here anymore.

Unfortunately, what she witnessed only made the bitterness in her heart grow stronger. Leon said with earnest solicitude:

”Mr. Luis, would you require an auto loan? We have an excellent relationship with the bank and can secure the most favorable interest rates for you.”

”For this amount, paying in full is fine. No need for installments.”

Luis was still holding Nancy’s hand, playfully tracing circles on his sister-in-law’s palm with his finger. He smiled and said:

”And remember to add that twenty thousand as well. As for the interior, let’s make a selection first, then settle everything together.”

”No, no, no. You are our most valued guest. There is absolutely no need for any additional charges.”

Leon adamantly refused to accept the twenty thousand dollars. While Phillipa helped Nancy choose interior accessories, he also brought out some top-tier tea and brewed it.

The new car, paid in full, plus an interior package that Nancy loved, finally totaled 258,000 dollars. This price made Nancy’s heart race uncontrollably, her face flushing a deep red.
