Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 800 - Inner World

The conflict between Star Genesis and the upper management from the Mountain River Sect intensified as time passed.

After a while, they started to give her worse tasks and gave her more work to do, keeping her from her own Law Comprehension. As a member of the Mountain River Sect, she was supposed to help the Mountain River Sect when they needed her, and they used that as a reason to give her a ton of work.

However, Star Genesis wasnʼt a pushover. She did all the work she was supposed to do, but she also started to be more direct with any of the normal members who came into contact with her.

She said that she knew who created the Formation Arrays, but she also said that she wasnʼt allowed to tell anyone. This sounded similar to her last answer, but there was an important difference. In her old answer, she hadnʼt stated that she hadnʼt been the creator. She had simply said that she wasnʼt allowed to talk about it.

Her new answer immediately told the people indirectly that she hadnʼt been the creator, which meant the Formation Arrays must have been designed by someone else.

After she gave her new answer a couple of times, people stopped asking her. After all, there was basically no doubt anymore that she hadnʼt created the Formation Arrays.

Yet, their curiosity wasnʼt sated, and they started to pester the old Formation Elder, who just referred them to the current Formation Elder.

Of course, the people said that the current Formation Elder had said that she hadnʼt created the Formation Arrays, and the former Formation Elder quickly informed upper management.

Star Genesis was confronted with records of people saying that she had said that she hadnʼt created the Formation Arrays, but Star Genesis stated that she had never said that. She had even made an oath to prove that she hadnʼt said that. After all, she only said that she knew who made it. She hadnʼt said that she didnʼt make them.

However, the Mountain River Sect didnʼt care who was right or wrong. They just wanted someone to blame, and Star Genesis was that someone.

They put more pressure on her, and eventually, the entire situation escalated.

It was more than clear that the two parties wouldnʼt come to an agreement. So, Star Genesis left the Mountain River Sect.

The Mountain River Sect demanded that she pay back everything they had given to her, but she refused. She had received these things as compensation for her duties, and she wouldnʼt hand them back.

At some point, it even looked like the two sides would enter battle, but Star Genesis managed to intimidate them.

She had controlled the Formation Arrays before, and she could do so again.

In the end, she secretly fled, managing to keep the Mountain River Sect from following her.

The Mountain River Sect couldnʼt stop her, and they announced that the old Formation Elder would be the new Formation Elder.

Then, the entire thing started from the beginning again.

The old/new Formation Elder refused to sacrifice his personal Karmic Luck, and the Mountain River Sect ramped up the pressure on him.

Yet, when he was about to leave as well, the Mountain River Sect eased up on the pressure, and both sides came to an agreement.

The Formation Elder would keep Azure Cometʼs involvement secret until the next war. They wanted to make use of their advanced Formation Arrays one more time before publicizing Azure Cometʼs involvement.

In return, the Formation Elder would receive a significant increase in available resources.

Eventually, the next war happened, and the Mountain River Sect once more managed to emerge victorious, gaining even more territories and members.

Originally, they hadnʼt intended to expand after such a short while, but the agreement with their Formation Elder forced them. If he also left, they would need to use the former Formation Elder from Heavy Lift. By now, a couple of centuries had passed, and the former members of Heavy Lift had integrated.

Yet, trusting them with handling their Formation Arrays was a bit too risky. With the help of the Formation Arrays, the former members of Heavy Lift had the power to stage a coup.

Who knew if they still resented the Mountain River Sect?

When they won the next war, a new round of questions about their Formation Arrays hit them.

This time, as promised, the Mountain River Sect gave an honest answer.

Azure Comet made these Formation Arrays.

Of course, people now started to ask questions about Azure Comet, but the Mountain River Sect didnʼt know much about him.

The identity of this mysterious Formation Array Master spread across the surrounding powers, and more Organizations became interested in meeting this Azure Comet guy.

Kyleʼs title of Azure Comet finally gained some fame.

Sadly, it didnʼt last for long in this specific area of the Secondary Sector.

A couple of years after Kyleʼs identity had been publicized, one of the Big Four made a move. Kyle had only gone to the Mountain River Sect because of Star Genesisʼ presence, and Star Genesis was here because the Mountain River Sect was far away from Dawnlightʼs territory.

However, the Mountain River Sect was very close to Voidwaveʼs territory, and Voidwave quickly engulfed the neighboring Organization of the Mountain River Sect before immediately sending their version of Seeker Refinement.

Officially, this was just a kind offer to exchange information. One of the bits of information that would be exchanged was how the Formation Arrays of each power worked.

Yet, nobody who had ever learned anything about Voidwaveʼs Formation Arrays had survived. They kept their Formation Arrays very secret.

If the Mountain River Sect accepted, they would allow a Formation Array Master from Voidwave to look at their Formation Arrays while also sending their Formation Elder to Voidwave.

The Formation Array Master would look at their Formation Arrays, while their Formation Elder would simply have an accident and never return.

If they declined, the Mountain River Sect would soon find all of Voidwave in front of their door, and moments later, they would stand in front of deathʼs door.

Naturally, the Formation Elder wouldnʼt sacrifice himself for the Sect.

With a heavy heart, the Mountain River Sect proposed joining Voidwave.

Voidwave accepted, and the Mountain River Sect stopped existing.

When Voidwave gained access to the territories of the Mountain River Sect, they sent their Formation Array Masters to look at Kyleʼs Formation Arrays.

Originally, Voidwave hadnʼt intended to expand so much in so little time, but when they had heard about Azure Comet, they had gotten very interested and serious.

While they hadnʼt officially declared their affiliation with the Peak Organization Inner World, everyone basically already knew about it.

They had heard that Kyleʼs Formation Arrays were much stronger than normal Formation Arrays, making them suspect that he was a secret Disciple of Inner World as well. If that turned out to be true, they would have a serious information breach on their hands.

Inner World kept the workings of their Formation Arrays secret, and no Disciple was allowed to just build Formation Arrays for others. There were rules and regulations concerning these matters.

Because of that, Voidwave had rapidly engulfed the Mountain River Sect, eliciting wary and greedy glances from the other three members of the Big Four.

Eventually, the Formation Array Master arrived and looked at Kyleʼs Formation Arrays.

Inner World was extremely good at analyzing Formation Arrays. Kyleʼs Formation Arrays were like an open book to them.

After conducting a thorough investigation into Kyleʼs Formation Arrays, they came to a conclusion.

He was not a member of Inner World.
