In solemn silence, the gathered Void Emperors listened, their faces gradually turning grave with each passing second.

They were a bit taken aback over the establishment of the Original Sins, but what really left them shocked was the fact that this group would  stand at the pinnacle of Void itself.

While they weren’t aware of the exact details, from Yu Zi Yu’s words alone, they could already feel the pressure, a horrid pressure.

Simply because this was not just any group. It was one destined to reign above the very summit of the Void.

And what was the Void’s summit?

According to Lord Purple Dragon, it was a realm capable of contending directly with the Myriad Races face to face, blow for blow.

*Hooooo…* Taking a deep breath, Zi Lian was the first to speak up, “Lord Purple Dragon, may I ask why must we take Humanoid Form to walk among the stars?”

Yu Zi Yu replied calmly, “Uniformity. It signifies that the peak powerhouses of the Void have achieved true intelligence and true order. It will also serve as an unveiling of a part of mysteries of the Void.”

Speaking of this point, he paused briefly before continuing, “Besides, I trust you all wish to see order brought to the Void. And in time, other powerhouses of the Void will emulate us. They will take on Humanoid Forms and walk among the stars. Isn’t that a worthy goal?”

“Indeed,” came a soft reply from the Fallen Angel, Avril.

The Void had long been seen as chaotic, disordered.

If suddenly, its highest echelon began appearing in Humanoid Form, the psychological pressure on the Myriad Races would be immense.

Of course, this didn’t bother Avril. After all, she was already Humanoid.

And not just any Humanoid, she was the perfect image of an Angel.

*Hehe…* Giggling behind her hand, Avril teased, “I can’t wait to see what Zi Lian looks like in Humanoid Form…”

“…”

Everyone felt silent.

Hearing this, while Zi Lian remained as stoic as ever, a closer look would reveal that the corner of his eyes happened to be twitching incessantly.

After all, while this transformation was merely a matter of shape not a change of essence, Zi Lian still found it weird and repulsive.

He had already grown used to his current form. If he were to change form now, it might disrupt his sense of precision, his ‘touch.’

And for an assassin, this would be greatly detrimental.

“You…” Yu Zi Yu gave a wry smile as he glanced at Avril.

[A hundred years have passed, and her personality has barely changed. Then again, for a Fallen Angel, a century was merely a decade in Human terms. After all, compared to the meagre lifespan of Humans, the lifespan of an Angel and a Fallen Angel at that is tens of times longer. Still, this is hardly the time to dwell on Avril.]

Glancing at the other Void Emperors, each wearing a conflicted expression, Yu Zi Yu clarified, “Your Humanoid Forms can retain most of your original features. Formless, for instance, you may remain cloaked in your violet mist. Zi Lian, you may keep your wings and claws. What I mean by Humanoid Form… is merely a gesture, a symbolic appearance. One that does not hinder your combat ability.”

As they listened in silence, the expressions of the Void Emperors gradually sobered.

Then, as one, they replied, “Understood, Lord Purple Dragon.”

“En…” Yu Zi Yu nodded with satisfaction.

These six Void Emperors were his subordinates. He expected loyalty, and thus far, he had received it.

Still, as if remembering something, he gave a light laugh and added, “For now, Original Sins consists of just the six of you. It does not include me. So, to make this Force truly known across the Void and even among the Myriad Races depends entirely on you.”

“Understood, Lord Purple Dragon.” Zi Lian, clearly their leader, stepped forward with resolve.

“Alright then, you can go.” Yu Zi Yu gave a final instruction, then added, “You have ten days. Use that time to decide what Humanoid Forms you will adopt. After that, I’ll lead you all on your first march across the stars.”

“That soon!?” Avril’s eyes widened in surprise.

“We must move quickly,” Yu Zi Yu replied with a soft chuckle. “The Myriad Races are already at our doorstep. If we delay any further, won’t that tarnish the Void’s reputation?”

With those final words, Yu Zi Yu’s form slowly faded, leaving the gathered Void Emperors behind, exchanging uncertain glances.

…

At that moment, what countless Void Creatures, even the Void Emperors themselves, didn’t know…

Was that the Void Clan had already shaken the starry skies.

“What!? A Hegemon has appeared in the Void, one that even commands time!?”

“That… that has to be fake, right…?”

“I wish it were. But the Sacred Son of Buddha has already fallen in the Void. Even the projection of his Imperial Artifact was shattered. As for the Troll King and the Dwarf Clan’s Fourth Elder… they’re still missing to this day…”

One report after another sent shockwaves through the Myriad Races of the cosmos, sparking countless gasps of disbelief.

The news was simply too horrifying.

Even the most elite Forces like the Dragon and Phoenix Clans held emergency councils the moment they heard.

In the Dragon Clan…

“Has the report been confirmed?” A solemn question echoed, and the gathered Dragon Clan powerhouses were all ears.

“Reporting to the Dragon Emperor. Yes, it’s been confirmed. The Sacred Son of Buddha has indeed perished. The Troll King of the Troll Clan, and the Fourth Elder of the Dwarf Clan…are both missing.”

As the messenger finished, even the Dream Dragon, seated at the head of the hall and known for her unfathomable depth, narrowed her eyes.

[A Hegemon and one that could possibly controlled Time? How truly troublesome.]

“As expected… the Void Clan has become the greatest threat to the Myriad Races…” A sigh broke the silence, followed by an Elder of the Dragon Clan shaking his head in resignation.

“There’s not much we can do…” With equal helplessness, the Dream Dragon, perhaps the most enigmatic figure in the Dragon Clan, spoke plainly, “The Void is the reverse side of the starry sky. The Void Clan… is like the darkness born from the Myriad Races themselves. The stronger the races grow… the more bizarre, the more troublesome the Void Clan becomes. It’s like Yin and Yang within the grand Taiji…

But even so… the Void shouldn’t have grown this fast…”

With a trace of suspicion, the Dream Dragon showed a rare look of doubt.
